"Why, is it because he forgot your anniversary of love?" Louis Snyder joked, seemingly attempting to lighten the mood.

In regards to Tiffany Lynch, he was always willing to put in extra effort to close the distance between them.

Tiffany Lynch shook her head, her hands supporting her as she sat on the bench, her gaze quietly focusing on the bar across the street, "No, we’ve been apart for a long ti, we only got back together recently."

Louis Snyder knew that Tiffany Lynch was beginning to let down her guard, silently taking on the role of a listener.

"We were each other’s first love. We broke up because of certain things, and when we t again after so many years, I was really happy, very happy that he still rembered , but..."

Tiffany Lynch paused for a mont, the smile on her lips turning sowhat bitter, an inaudible sigh, "... there were so many blank years, perhaps soone has already replaced by his side."

Syncing this, Louis Snyder’s fist subconsciously clenched tightly. He looked at the person beside him and wanted to say sothing, but swallowed the words that were at the tip of his tongue.

It was not the right ti.

It was not the ti to tell Tiffany everything.

Only when the proper ti ca for Tiffany to find out herself, would she finally give up on George River, giving him the opportunity to replace George River and truly be by the side of the one he’s longed for all these years.

Just a little while longer, a little while longer.

Louis Snyder admonished himself inwardly.

After saying all this, Tiffany Lynch suddenly laughed, "Maybe I’m thinking too much. Everyone has a past. Regardless, it’s enough for to know that he likes now."

The light in Louis Snyder’s eyes dimd substantially, the joy from the initial eting dissipated, replaced by a dense darkness.

However, all of this disintegrated instantaneously when Tiffany Lynch looked over. He laughed, a laugh that was pure and innocent, "I believe, that no guy could bear to wrong a girl like you, who even cries so beautifully."

He spoke seriously, appearing like a student competing with a classmate in secrecy and still carrying the vestiges of childishness. He looked harmless and approachable, like a big boy who people couldn’t help but want to protect.

Tiffany Lynch laughed at his tease, reaching out to pat his head, her voice playful, "Alright, stop making fun of , go ho or your family will worry about you."

Feeling her affectionate touch, Louis Snyder was taken aback.

His head was his sensitive spot, no one was allowed to touch it, not even Hannah who had known him for a long ti and had a sowhat ambiguous relationship with him.

Because he would resist, feel repulsed, and even beco intolerably irritable.

But this ti, he started laughing. It was just that the smile carried a deliberately disguised bitterness, his voice sounding lost and sad, "I don’t have a family."

Keeping his head low, the boy’s black scattered hair fell over his eyes. His gaze was veiled by a layer of moistness, making him look clean yet sorrowful, much like a gigantic stray dog that had been starving by the roadside for days, pitiful and helpless.

"I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you..." Tiffany Lynch felt guilty, wanting to comfort him yet not knowing what to say.

But Louis Snyder shook his head, lifting his face to look at the person in front of him, his gaze focused and gentle, "It’s alright, that I got to see you on my birthday is already the best birthday gift."

The boy seriously uttered those sowhat amorous words, but his clear eyes made it hard for anyone to misconstrue his intentions. It seed as though any speculation about him would be a disrespect to him.
