He slowly pronounced these three words, as if seeing an old friend after many years, but there was a hint of strangeness in his voice.
At first glance, it didn’t seem like he was here to reminisce about old tis, but rather as if he was here to seek revenge.
Hannah tapped on Golden Lotus, who was sound asleep in her light brain, to pull up the data of the man in front of her.
There were only two simple words in his profile—Hayes Edwards.
The lack of introduction ant that in the original plot, this man only appeared as a backdrop and did not participate in advancing the plot.
With that, Hannah was deep in thought, her eyes calm as a lake.
She reached out her hand and initiated the conversation, "In that case, let’s get reacquainted. I’m Hannah Winter."
Hayes Edwards looked down at the hand extended in front of him.
That hand was neat and clean, it looked like it had never done any heavy work before, as delicate and smooth as if it had just been soaked in milk.
Just one glance, the laughter in his eyes deepened, mixed with a hint of playfulness and discord, "Hayes Edwards."
Hands t.
The brief handshake was out of courtesy. Just as Hannah was about to pull away, the man strengthened his grip.
The next second, Hannah was pushed into the restroom on the side.
The door was locked, and outside, hurried footsteps could be heard.
It was the production team staff, they seed to be looking for soone.
"His agent said he had arrived, how co we haven’t seen him anywhere?"
"Let’s search carefully, he should be around. I’ll go check over there, you look over here."
"Okay."
The footsteps scattered outside the door, dwindled shortly after.
The temperature in the restroom was sowhat humid. Despite having an aromatic in the room, it was still a bit uncomfortable being in there too long.
Hannah looked up at the man in front of her, lifted the hand that was still being held, and laughed, "How much longer do you plan on holding."
The softness of the hand made Hayes Edwards subconsciously tighten his grip. When he finally looked up and t Hannah’s eyes, he felt embarrassed.
He cleared his throat lightly, let go of her hand, "You really don’t rember ?"
His voice had lost its deliberate lowering from before, now it was a pleasant and cold tone.
Hannah crossed her arms and composed her face, her expression was devoid of any emotion or laughter, "Should I rember you?"
"Didn’t say you had to rember." He mumbled, seeming sowhat frustrated, "Forget it, if you don’t rember, then so be it, just pretend..."
The rest of Hayes Edwards’ sentence was said so faintly, as if he was talking to himself, Hannah didn’t hear it clearly despite her close proximity.
Having said what he wanted to say, he directly opened the restroom door and left.
Hannah watched him walk away in thought, her head slightly tilted.
When Hannah saw Hayes Edwards again, it was at a program recording site.
He was standing next to Jackie Qualls, as the special invited advisor.
Interestingly, he was also one of the hot contestants in the first season of Shining Star Road who debuted high, and was the visual center of the group.
Once unmasked and unveiled, Hayes Edwards indeed deserves to be the visual mber of the group.
His face was between boyish and youthfulness, possessing the maturity and composure of a grown man and the vibrant energy of youth. His features were not overly delicate, showing a slight rascally charm when he smiled.
He was like the bad boy with pitiful grades in school, blessed with a deceivingly handso face. When he smiled, his eyes were like a refreshing breeze in the scorching sumr, driving away the stifling heat, leaving only a faint comfort.
He seed to spot Hannah in the crowd right away, a half smile just appearing on his face, yet was retracted like he rembered sothing, and resud his lazy posture.
