She reached the door and then turned around, laughing, "Don’t forget to take your dicine. You can’t die before the storyline is over."

There was a hint of laughter in her words, but Louis Snyder didn’t understand. He wanted to ask, but she unhesitatingly turned around and walked away.

The sound of the door closing also took away the last bit of warmth in the room.

His head seed to start hurting again, as if soone was hitting it hard with a hamr ti after ti. His body still reeked of strong alcohol, but he hadn’t noticed initially.

However, when she left, the faint lingering fragrance also began to fade, leaving behind the suffocatingly offensive sll of alcohol.

Louis Snyder’s head felt muffled and he gazed at the white pills on the table and the cup of boiled water, laughing cynically.

And didn’t move at all.

Everything seed like a dream.

The scorching sun tore the weighty clouds above, and the sounds of chopping at and stir-frying food could already be heard from an old building powerless to block out the noise.

How noisy it was.

Awaking from dream, everything from last night seed even more unreal. He could hardly see her face clearly, but only the faint lingering fragrance seed to still be lingering by his nose.

It was an unusual fragrance he’d never slled on anyone, except Hannah.

Louis Snyder, supporting himself up on the sofa, found himself in the sa clothes as yesterday night. The two white pills and the cup of boiled water from his dream were missing from the table.

Everything from last night seed to have been really just a dream.

But it felt so vividly real.

"See, you always wield your willfulness just because you think others love you, and you exhaust their patience."

"No one will love soone who doesn’t love themselves forever."

"If Hannah Winter does not love you soday, you are nothing."

Her soft and gentle voice seed still lingering in his ears.

He held his head, which felt a bit swollen, and stood up, swaying, and barely stopped himself from falling again. His gaze then fell on the green teacup he cherished in a high place.

It was a present from Tiffany Lynch.

Sothing that should have made him joyous, but now it just strained his eyes.

The daylight took away the night, and reality shattered his dream.

After taking a shower and changing clothes, Louis Snyder got a call from the crew before he dried his hair.

Oliver Taylor was truly a man of his word. He promised to give him the role of the second male lead and stuck to it.

Opportunities were hard to co by. This ti, he would absolutely not allow himself to fail again.

A thick darkness shrouded the land, heralding the arrival of the night. Heavy clouds covered the crescent moon in the sky, and no stars could be seen in the gloomy sky.

The air was stagnant; even the late-night cool breeze could do nothing to lift this dull mood.

But despite this, it did nothing to dampen the guests’ spirits.

A party brought together many well-known tycoons of the business world, either with their partners or their wives, greeting others politely.

George River, in his silver suit, looked sowhat alone amidst the crowd. Nevertheless, his handso face still attracted the attention of nurous rich young ladies.

George River was as famous as Jimmy Simmons among the rich second generation, both were much sought-after gentries, never lacking beauties around them.

As for Arnold Simmons, even if people coveted him, they dared not make a move - the fate of anyone who did was dismal.

Everyone knew Arnold Simmons was ruthless and his character was dark and unpredictable. Only his devilishly handso face and noble deanor were irresistibly captivating.

Everyone yearned for the great power and wealth he held in his hands.
