After spending so ti together, she knew that this was a rare comforting phrase from Hannah.
She usually critiqued more than she comforted.
Every ti the crew tried to infuse so sentintal soup into the show, Hannah’s presence would turn even the warst, most heartfelt speeches into toxic solace.
She seed to live in her world with her set of rules, sotis stubborn, willful, and arrogant, enjoying observing the drama unfold with cool detachnt.
Those who liked her described her as "lucid amidst chaos," while those who loathed her accused her of lack of compassion.
But Sunny Lee knew that Hannah was just plainly lazy. When others put on a show of "deep sisterly love," Hannah’s facial expression remained indifferent, but her eyes twinkled with amusent.
She was watching a play.
Piercing through all the superficial facades, she gazed directly at every individual’s heart.
Hence, her likes and dislikes were quite blunt, bordering on unreasonable.
When Sunny Lee was leaving Hannah’s dorm, she happened upon May Hoffman, who had been standing at the door for God knows how long.
She knew of May Hoffman but was not too familiar with her. Still, she politely asked, "Are you here to see Hannah?"
May seed to snap back to reality. Her loose hair hung low as she kept her head down, portraying a sowhat reclusive image.
She didn’t utter a word and left straight away.
Watching May stumble away in confusion, Sunny pondered to herself, "Why is she so weird?"
She didn’t dwell on it and left.
On the parallel line of narrative, Lucy Taylor, carrying her luggage, had made a futile round of the 18th floor before resignedly returning to the dorm doorstep.
She searched for the production team, but the producer wasn’t around. The remaining staff mbers were pleasant enough to her as she’s with Flourishing.
But the dorm assignnt was final and couldn’t be changed.
Moreover, Hannah was the most popular, so everyone wanted to share the dorm with her; this was perhaps a stroke of luck.
Lucy scoffed internally.
A twisted fate.
As Lucy Taylor pushed the dormitory door open, Hannah was fussing over skincare products, not even turning to look as she drolly remarked, "Ah, back from the not-so-cozy restroom?"
Lucy harshly closed the door shut, "Hannah Winter, I..."
"Keep it down." Hannah turned towards her, her face mask glowing in the reflection of the mirror. Her eyes shining brightly as she pointed to her chin and chuckled, "You’re disturbing my facial absorption."
"I don’t care about you!" Lucy, irritated and unable to vent, gritted her teeth as she dragged her heavy luggage towards her bed.
Several novels lay scattered on the empty bed.
Before she could take a closer look, Hannah nimbly sauntered over and picked up all the books, "Sorry for the ss, I placed these here while cleaning up earlier."
Lucy frowned, "You should cut down on your reading. I still can’t figure out how you beca the C-position."
Hannah flipped through her novels, pleased and totally unfazed, "Well, it’s all thanks to my good looks, of course."
She winked at Lucy.

Lucy glared at her and grumbled, "You are crazier than ever."
Thinking for a mont, she raised her voice, "Don’t you dare sleepwalk tonight!"
Hannah focused on her reading, "We’ve been sleeping together for half a month now, don’t you know whether I sleepwalk or not?"
Lucy was taken aback, her face flushed red, unsure whether from anger or...
She tossed the pillow in her hands and looked over, "Hannah Winter, can’t you just be normal for once?"
Hannah sat on the chair, lazily turning her back towards her, "Nope."
Lucy was rendered speechless.
The the song recording was scheduled the following day.
