Since the company isn’t providing him with resources, he would have to find them himself.

During the afternoon break of the theater troupe, he joined a group of actors at a restaurant. He absentmindedly looked at his phone.

A video playing on his phone was the contest between Tiffany Lynch and Hannah.

The screen was filled with praises for Hannah, causing him to frown. His smile seed colder now, and his heart felt restless. Unclear emotions swelled in his eyes.

"Hey, isn’t that Jas Landon?"

"You must be seeing things. Even though we’re at a filming base, it doesn’t an the streets are crawling with stars!"

"No, really! I think there’s a girl sitting across from him. What’s going on?"

The group instantly beca excited. Even Louis Snyder looked up.

They were gazing at a private dining room. The door was half open, showing the waitstaff serving dishes.

Unfortunately, the door was closed in an instant.

People around him lanted not having had a chance to take photographs. If they had, selling them to gossip magazines might’ve earned them a pretty penny.

"Could Jas Landon be on a date? It’s a sha we couldn’t see who the girl is."

"Is it Hilary Quin? Weren’t there rumors about them? I heard Jas Landon was writing a song for her."

"Are you living under a rock? Jas Landon denied everything. It even made headlines! Hilary Quin’s fans bombarded the comnts section of Jas Landon’s new song. The world of fandom is truly terrifying."

Gossip chatted away in his ear, but all Louis Snyder could focus on was the scene he had just seen replaying in his mind.

A raven-haired girl with fair skin was laughing lightly, a piece of cake in her hand. She was engaged in conversation and looked amidst laughter.

It was only a blurry side profile, but he couldn’t help thinking of Hannah Winter.

Even he was taken aback by the sudden thought.

Hannah Winter?

There’s no way she could be here.

He shook his head, supressing this strange idea, while the pain from his wound was getting unbearable.

It felt as if soone was gently touching the wound, full of tenderness.

"I need to run to the restroom." He suddenly stood up. People around him looked at him.

"Be quick. The dishes are about to be served." Soone said casually.

Louis Snyder nodded and left.

The others returned to their previous conversation.

In the private room, the agent who had initially been wary of Hannah was now deep in conversation with her.

Especially when he found out that Hannah had not signed with any label yet, he almost wanted to print out a contract right there. This pretty and talented girl seed like a perfect fit for him.

It had been a long ti since he had represented any new clients having focused on Jas Landon.

However, Hannah expressed that she had no plans to sign with any agency yet, leaving the agent slightly disappointed. Nonetheless, he added, "If you ever decide to sign with an agency, please consider ."

With that, he handed her a business card.

Hannah took it, thanked him warmly, and asked to borrow a phone.

Jas Landon figured Hannah wanted to call her family, so he handed her his phone without a second thought.

Hannah found a relatively quiet spot before dialing a number she knew by heart.

The call rang three tis before being hung up.

Unfazed, Hannah dialed again.

This ti, the call was finally answered. A deep male voice ca through, "Hello?"
