It’s just after class, and the classroom is noisy.
Hayes Edwards imdiately spotted Grace Winter sitting in the back.
Chubby also saw her. He had always followed Hayes, so he had seen Grace many tis. "Hayes, isn’t the boy pulling your sister’s braid over there?"
He pointed at soone.
It was a boy with a small ponytail at the back of his head.
When Hayes looked over, the boy was still pulling Grace’s braid, making her frown.
Aggrieved, but not crying. Angry, but not cursing.
"Your sister has a good temper," Chubby remarked.
Hayes snorted, "That’s just dumb."
With that, he walked straight into the classroom.
The class hero and bully, with an air of authority, Chubby followed beside him, unconsciously puffing out his chest.
"You! Yes, you, co with !"
The boy was called out just like that, feeling a bit scared as he looked at Hayes, who was a little taller and very imposing.
Grace didn’t even have ti to speak before they both left the classroom.
"Grace Winter, is Hayes really your brother?" A little kid asked as they gathered around.
Grace was stunned for a few seconds and then nodded, "Yes."
Just like that, the relationship Hayes had been trying to deny was locked in again.
"Your brother is so handso."
"He’s really good-looking, the most handso boy I’ve ever seen."
"Grace, let’s be best friends, and you can introduce to your brother, okay?"
Grace: "??? "
The boy ca back in and ran straight to Grace, "Grace Winter, I’m sorry, it was wrong of before. I shouldn’t have pulled your braid. I won’t do it again."
It took Grace a while to react, and then she said, "It’s okay."
She smiled, soft and innocent.
The boy seed to sigh with relief and cautiously asked, "Can you also ask your brother to spare my little braid?"
Nobody knew what Hayes said to the boy.
Grace didn’t know either.
But the next day, the boy’s parents ca to the kindergarten.
Saying so kid had threatened to cut off their son’s braid.
The teacher was shocked and quickly asked about the situation.
Then Hayes was called over, and Grace was too, and soon their parents also arrived.
Six parents, three kids, the whole office beca lively.
The teacher was really worried the protective parents would start arguing.
But fortunately, they didn’t.
The boy’s parents understood the situation and brought their son to apologize to Grace. The boy’s eyes turned red, but he didn’t cry, trying hard to be a little man.
Take responsibility, admit mistakes, and sincerely apologize.
Father Winter patted his daughter’s head and asked her, "Do you want to forgive this brother?"
Grace nodded, "Actually, I forgave him long ago, but you shouldn’t pull other girls’ braids in the future. It’ll really hurt."
The boy glanced over at Hayes and said, "I already know."
Pulling braids really hurts.
Hayes folded his arms, his handso little face pretending to be indifferent.
After school, the two families went out to eat together.
Mother Edwards happily patted her son’s head, saying, "Hayes, you’ve grown up. You’re even protecting your sister now."
Hayes said nothing.
Grace’s round eyes looked over, bright and full of laughter.
As soon as their eyes t, Hayes snorted and looked away.
