He lowered his gaze and looked at her. Those eyes, no longer shrouded in past gloom, now carried a brightness, tinged with a hint of tender affection.

Hannah curved her lips into a smile, deliberately not answering him, "I didn’t say anything at all."

With her hands behind her back and her head tilted to the side, her eyes filled with laughter, sparkling and radiant like starlight.

"I heard everything," Arnold Simmons caught her hand and held it in his palm. Erging from the shadows of his past, he appeared entirely alive, brimming with vitality.

She averted her gaze, but the corners of her lips couldn’t help but lift. A blush spread across her cheeks and reached her ears before she finally looked up at him.

It took only a second for Arnold Simmons to surrender, chuckling softly, "Yes, I’m yours."

I was before, I am now, and I will be in the future.

Tessa Thompson hid off to the side, tugging at the class monitor and screaming, "I told you, they’re a couple! You didn’t believe , ah!!!"

The class monitor’s jacket was tugged into disarray, but he remained calm, adjusting his glasses without saying a word.

What could he say? After all, he had already spotted Hannah and Arnold Simmons together last New Year at the amusent park.

So, they were actually waiting for graduation to confess?

It’s pretty... romantic.

The day after the college entrance exams ended, the senior year classrooms began the "drawer clearing" operation mandated by humanity.

All the old workbooks, test papers, and barely-used textbooks were piled up outside the restroom on the first floor.

This was the true "mountain of books and sea of paper."

The sheer amount spilled over onto the staircase of the first floor. Quite a few juniors and sophomores ca to "hunt for treasures," and in those monts, the senior students enthusiastically offered recomndations.

"This workbook, seventy percent new, barely touched, hasn’t even had a na written on it. You’ll definitely use it in senior year."

"Math Compulsory I? There’s one here, hardly any notes inside. No charge, it’s yours."

"Major subject textbooks up for grabs! Forget $9.99—take them ho for free!"

Inside the classroom, everyone was bustling in and out. The desks, which once overflowed with books, had been cleared out. The room suddenly felt empty, and even the noise seed incapable of filling the space.

Three years passed, cycling through the four seasons. On this sweltering sumr day, they finally reached a turning point in their youth.

All the past chasing and playful banter, the petty argunts, the quiet discussions between desk partners—everything seed like the scattered books downstairs, destined to gradually drift away, be missed, and soday be forgotten.

Only years later, when people recollect these monts, will they truly understand that this was youth.

What you experience is the bustle; what you rember is youth.

Books disappeared one by one, classrooms were gradually emptied, and even the teaching buildings grew quieter over ti.

"You guys take your ti packing. I have so errands and am heading off first."

"Bye-bye! Let’s keep in touch after this!"

"Sure!"

Outside the window, the sunlight made the leaves shimr brightly. The school bell rang, the sound of recitation echoed, and life continued. Leaves fell, marking the end of their high school days.

When the new sester arrives, this empty classroom will once again be filled.

This cycle repeats, until this Chapter of their lives exists solely in mory.

...

While waiting for exam results, many classes organized graduation gatherings.

Class Two had a total of fifty-six students. Aside from a few who were traveling and couldn’t make it, everyone else attended.

The class monitor and vice monitor took charge of preparing for the gathering. First, they booked a restaurant for dinner together, followed by reserving a private room at a karaoke venue.
