The mutated beast was huge, and Archer only took part of it.

Hannah sat at the door, watching every person who passed in front of her.

If soone looked her way, she would sweetly greet them, saying, "Hello there!"

But no one dared to respond to her words; instead, they hurriedly quickened their pace to leave.

Recently, soone had started spreading rumors that the boy called "Archer" was actually a reserve food supply that Hannah kept for herself.

This was a thod used by everyone living in Bury.

If they weren’t hungry yet, they would simply keep it, locked in a cage.

They believed that was what Hannah did.

The people in the dark left.

They had co up with new ways to deal with Hannah.

She was a little witch.

No one knew what kind of "magic" she had, they only knew that beneath her pure eyes lay an unfathomable abyss.

Whenever she sang a nursery rhy, soone would die.

The rumors grew ever more vicious.

Gradually, no one dared to approach Hannah, except for Archer.

Archer had also heard those rumors, but he didn’t care.

"Hello there!" Hannah greeted a resident from the other side of the refugee district.

Upon hearing her voice, the person only spared her a glance before hurrying away.

Hannah felt a little disheartened, lowering the small hand she had raised to greet them.

She sighed.

Archer, who was inside the house, heard the noise and ca out to see.

He squatted beside her and asked what was wrong.

Hannah looked aggrieved, "It seems like everyone doesn’t like ."

In Bury, there was no liking, but people would choose to cooperate with each other for mutual benefit.

Yet no one would choose to cooperate with Hannah.

So she was always alone.

But now she had Archer.

He comforted Hannah, "It’s okay, I like you."

Hannah shifted her legs and turned to face him, "Really?"

"Really," Archer nodded earnestly.

The boy’s gaze was pure and unguarded.

Hannah bowed her head and sighed again.

She felt Archer was just placating her.

No one could like her.

Even her mother had called her a "calamity" when she lost control.

Archer bent over to look into Hannah’s eyes, "Hannah, you are good. You don’t need to care about anyone else’s gaze, anyone’s thoughts."

He had his own understanding and judgnt and did not heed the words of others.

In his eyes, Hannah was just a very simple little girl.

On the planet Bury, no one could bla her for doing anything wrong.

Kindness should only be given to those who are equally kind.

"Archer," Hannah raised her head, eting the boy’s gaze, "Will you leave ?"

She asked seriously, not wanting any lies or platitudes.

The boy was silent for a while, "I won’t."

If there ever ca a day when he had to leave, he would take Hannah with him.

"Don’t lie to ," Hannah said word by word.

Her voice was soft and llow, yet her words were filled with resolve.

The boy said, "I won’t lie to you."

The rain had stopped, the clouds had dispersed, and a sliver of the moon appeared.

A hazy white warm light hung above the night sky.

It was beautiful, yet very lonely.

That night, the people in the shadows did not act.

Several days later, a group of newcors arrived in the refugee district.

They were refugees who had escaped here.

There were n and won, led by a man wearing glasses.

Among these people, there was a young boy about fifteen or sixteen years old, with a fierce look in his eyes and a long, thin scar beneath his left eye.

The arrival of this group disrupted the original plans, but it also provided them with a better option.

Instead of provoking the unknown power of Hannah, it was better to join forces against these outsiders.
