Hannah’s face stiffened, straining at the corners of her mouth, but couldn’t muster a smile. All she could do was pretend to be angry, bent over, and pinched the little boy’s clean face, sternly saying, "You’re so articulate, you’d be great at raising frogs in the future."
After she finished speaking, she withdrew her hand.
Just as the little boy was about to say sothing, Hannah took a phone call. Her expression changed abruptly, clumsy with the fan in her hand, mumbling an apology, "I didn’t forget, I seriously did not forget. I was out because... well, I was doing a good deed... Seriously, I wasn’t lying, I’ll be there soon..."
As her voice and silhouette gradually distanced, the little boy stood dumbfounded at the doorstep, staring for a long while until a policewoman called him back to his senses.
The little boy suddenly asked, "Officer, do girls mind dating younger boys?"
Caught off guard, the policewoman responded, considering the boy’s feelings, "Not at all."
Appearing relieved, the little boy murmured, "That’s good."
Modern-day children are so precocious.

Jack Stewart almost emptied his wallet buying all sorts of little dresses for Hannah.
Though outwardly male, it had to be said that Jack, a great girlfriend, deeply understood girls’ preferences.
Despite Hannah telling him not to buy her clothes for the program, Jack ignored her and insisted on buying everything.
Hannah held her forehead helplessly, "But where would I store all these clothes in my dorm room?"
Although the four-person dorm was spacious enough, ho was incomparable. There definitely wasn’t enough room for these dresses.
Jack had evidently considered this problem and was sowhat distressed, "I’ve told you to move out already. It’s miserable living accommodatingly with them."
Hannah, trying a new dress and savoring her reflection, turned to Jack’s remark, "I only have so much in my account. Where do you think I should move to?"
Jack was wealthy. Initially, he moved into the dorm just to conveniently et Hannah. But lately, he had been complaining about his untidy male roommates who wouldn’t wash their socks and underwear for days.
He couldn’t stand it anymore, so he moved to an apartnt his family bought for him.
The apartnt was quite large, with two bedrooms, a living room and two balconies. The decor was beautiful. Hannah had visited a few tis and liked it a lot.
Jack rose from his chair, a thought crossing his mind. He walked over to Hannah, hands resting tentatively on her shoulders, suggesting, "How about you move into my place? I have a spare room anyway."
He was completely serious, not joking.
He genuinely thought of Hannah as his close girlfriend. As such, he saw no issue sharing a roof.
This line of thinking had already lasted a long ti.
Hannah understood Jack and his character. With that understanding, she knew he truly cared about her. She didn’t mind at all, but she also rembered she was soone with a wealthy man in her life now.
If Arnold Simmons found out...
——Go chasing after others, and I’ll break your legs.
Hannah shivered involuntarily, pushed off Jack’s arm, shaking her head, "I can’t. I’m fine in the dorm."
Upon hearing Hannah’s reply, Jack wasn’t pleased, huffing, "Hannah Winter, are you worried that I’ll take advantage of you?"
Hannah shook her head while reaching for another dress, "No, you’re overthinking it, I regard you as a close girlfriend."
