Hayes Edwards had still been calling out that he would co again next ti as he left, asking to keep the trash for him.

Hannah saw him to the door, waving goodbye to everyone and watching them walk away before returning to her room.

Arnold Simmons texted her, saying he had just gotten off the plane and was already on his way.

Hannah checked the ti, took a bath, and then climbed into bed.

After a day of fun, it was only now that she felt sleepy when things quieted down.

When she heard a noise and opened her eyes, Arnold Simmons, fresh from a bath, had just walked out of the bathroom.

He had changed into pajamas and, seeing her awake, ca over and sat down by the bed.

"Did I wake you?"

Hannah shook her head; extending a hand from under the covers, she grabbed the hem of his clothing, her voice heavy with sleepiness, "When did you get back?"

Arnold Simmons took her hand and pressed it into his own palm, "Half an hour ago."

Hannah looked at him intently for a while before slowly nodding her head a bit dully.

She didn’t speak further, but pulled Arnold Simmons’ warm, large palm under the covers and held it against her chest.

Like she was holding her beloved toy, her lips curved into a sweet smile.

Her drowsy appearance was both well-behaved and soft.

Arnold Simmons couldn’t help but smile, turned off the light gently, and drew her into his arms.

He whispered, "Goodnight."

The night passed without dreams.
