Louis’s wife was easily swayed by others, a few words and soone could easily convince her, but he needed to be more cautious.
Grace Yarn’s face was full of worry, "Oliver, I’m not joking with you, you don’t know, so ti ago a little girl on the internet got so cruelly bullied, and she was even so big celebrity."
Oliver Quach nodded, listening seriously and very much in agreent with what his wife said, "That’s awful, truly awful. How could soone be so an to a young girl?"
"Exactly." Grace Yarn agreed, then realized, "What I’m talking about now is about Louis’s matter."
Oliver Quach nodded. "I know, I’m listening. I will give this matter so serious thought."
Only then did Grace Yarn begin to feel relieved.
After Oliver Quach had agreed, he went to talk to the Yarn Family’s elderly couple about this the next day.
The couple had aged and their greatest pleasures in daily life were tending to flowers and walking birds. They hadn’t been involved in the company’s affairs for many years.
At this mont, when Oliver Quach suddenly approached them with these issues, Old Sir Yarn wasn’t quite able to react and instinctively turned to look at Old Madam Yarn, who was beside him admiring the flowers.
"Old lady, what do you think about this?"
Old Madam Yarn, wearing her old-fashioned glasses and not hearing so well over the years, didn’t catch a word of what her old man had said.
"The flowers are blooming nicely this year. In a few days, let’s have Lee plant a few more pots; it’ll be delightful to watch," she replied.
Old Sir Yarn walked over and shouted into his wife’s ear, "Old lady, Oliver is asking you what you think about the company’s business?"
Peering through the thick lenses, Old Madam Yarn squinted at Oliver Quach, "A rooster? What rooster? Tell Oliver not to buy that stuff; we’re raising our own in the backyard."
Old Sir Yarn walked back, leaning on his cane.
Oliver Quach coughed twice, "Dad, how about you take a stand on this?"
Old Sir Yarn put down his cane, grabbed his old-fashioned enal cup with bold red characters and took a sip of tea, "Are you asking us what we think of Louis?"
Oliver Quach nodded.
Though Old Sir Yarn was advanced in years, he had been embroiled in the family’s feuds when he was young.
Back then, the Yarn Family was chaotic, with the previous head of the family fathering several illegitimate children, which ironically made Old Sir Yarn’s position as the rightful successor quite awkward.
Fortunately, Old Sir Yarn had his own ans, managing to secure what rightfully belonged to him, but after getting married, he gradually grew tired of the struggles in the business world.
So, as soon as Oliver Quach entered the Yarn Family, Old Sir Yarn handed over all of his authority.
Now, as Oliver Quach asked for his opinion, Old Sir Yarn naturally knew what Oliver was worried about.
"Although Lynn Yarn is our daughter, we’ve co to terms with that over the years. She’s always been stubborn, a trait we fostered, and I can see her child has inherited so of that."
Older people often have a clear perspective on others.
From the very first ti he t Louis, Old Sir Yarn knew this was a child who kept his feelings well-hidden.
No one knew what he was really thinking.
Just like back then, he couldn’t understand what drove Lynn to her particular line of thinking.
Although they owed a lot to Grace Yarn, they had always been indulgent with Lynn, yet she still felt their care was insufficient.
Thinking of this, Old Sir Yarn rely sighed.
