When Tiffany Lynch first returned to her ho country, George River had already suggested signing her to his company, promising her the best team and opportunities. Yet, Tiffany refused.

She stated that she wanted to carve out her own place in the entertainnt industry, rather than relying on anyone else.

Her words deeply touched George, evoking even more sympathy for her in his heart.

Their romance had ended abruptly years ago. The frail girl he once knew had undergone such a significant transformation. George felt relief, but it was interspersed with heartache.

If she were under his protection, his Tiffany wouldn’t have to work so hard to participate in talent competitions. He could offer her the best resources.

So, when he found out Tiffany wanted to enter a talent competition, he impulsively decided to fund the show. Even though he was confident that his Tiffany would shine the brightest, he still wanted to pave the way for her success.

The one he loved - his beloved Tiffany, he vowed not to let her suffer any further harm.

When it ca to matters regarding Tiffany, George was always exceedingly patient and tender. Even when she was not present, his eyes conveyed warmth and love.

During their pleasant conversation, Tiffany suddenly turned solemn over the phone, "George, ’Shining Star Journey 2’ is fild in complete isolation. They will confiscate our phones. I won’t be able to contact you then."

In the soft, gentle voice of the woman, one could sense her deep affection and dependence on the man.

George patiently reassured her in a gentle voice, "That’s alright, I will co to see you."

"I’ll hold you to that."

"Okay, I’ll co to see you tonight, let’s have dinner together."

"Alright."

As George ended the call, the warmth and smile on his face hadn’t faded when he saw Hannah standing face-to-face with a refined and handso young man under a distant tree.

She hadn’t changed out of her cheongsam yet. It seed thin as the wind blew against it, but she didn’t seem to mind. Instead, she was smiling coyly at the man in front of her.

While the cheongsam accentuated Hannah’s graceful figure, it exposed her snow-white arms and slender legs. The young man didn’t know where to look, his hand that was transferring money on his phone was trembling, "The... the money... I’ve transferred it to you."

Hannah smirked, her eyes sparkling with amusent, "I know. You’re really interesting. I’m not going to eat you, what are you afraid of?"

"I... I didn’t an..." The young man stuttered, swiftly glanced at Hannah before lowering his head, "Ms. Chen said... she’s giving the cheongsam to you, and also..."

As though he just rembered sothing, the young man started rummaging through his backpack hurriedly, and then handed a business card to Hannah, "She said, she welcos you to custom order cheongsams from her again. Also, she said... you look beautiful in a cheongsam."

Delicate, pale fingers pinched the business card in the young man’s hand. Hannah looked at him, her voice soft, "Junior, is it Ms. Chen who’s complinting or is it you?"

The young man’s face flushed, and he didn’t dare to speak.

She smirked, reached out a hand to fix the collar the young man had flipped, her smile radiant as a peach blossom, "Junior, next ti you co across such a good money-making opportunity, rember to find ."

The young man nodded shyly, "Of course——"

Before he could finish his sentence, the young man felt a strong pull from behind and before he could react, he was knocked to the ground with a punch to his nose, causing stars to dance before his eyes.
