Felton, with stronger functionality, beat out Deron and Hinrich to make the Dream Eight team.
Okafor, with more comprehensive and stable skills on both ends, defeated Boozer, Chandler, Odom, and others to make the Dream Eight team.
The two were two of the prominent three from the Eastern powerhouse, Bobcats, and no one thought there was anything wrong with their selection.
However, when Okafor appeared on the USA Basketball training roster, it sparked teasing from the fans.
In 2004, just after the draft, Okafor made the Dream Six team, followed the 03 draft trio and embarrassed themselves. In 2006, he made a surprise run to the playoffs at the end of the regular season, swept the Cavaliers in the first round, made the Dream Seven team, and again embarrassed themselves with the 03 trio.
