When Coco finally woke up from her slumber, she was confused by the sight of an unfamiliar ceiling that greeted her view.

What the.. Where am I? Wasn’t I sleeping in my bed— She found herself wondering where she was and stirred in her spot, only for her heart to drop as she fell off and landed on the floor with a loud thump.

"Coco!"

A worried shout ca from above which was tinged with worry, followed by a yowl— sounding panicked and distressed.

Coco let out a groan and she promptly pushed herself up using her elbows, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

"Lala?" Coco called, looking up from the floor.

"Coco? Where is she— oh my goodness! Coco!" Ca another worried shout, followed by frantic footsteps that rounded the doorway.

The garden fairy, the magical feline, and the first husband ca into her view, the three worried faces greeting her as soon as they approached her, all their footsteps were quick and thumping against the floor.

"I’m fine, I’m fine, I’m fine." She reassured Zaque, pushing herself off the floor and sitting up instead. "See? I just rolled off when I woke up."

"What were you doing? How did you fall off the couch?" Lala inquired, flying to Coco’s face and hovering in the air.

"What happened, Coco? Are you okay?" Zaque soon asked after Lala finished her questions, taking a step beside his wife and crouching down, his hands hovering over her arms, contemplating whether he should check her body for any sign of injury.

Coco’s eyes darted to Zaque’s hands and unconsciously, before she could register what she was about to do, let her arms by him.

This action of hers took Zaque by surprise and it was evident on how his eyes went wide.

"I’m fine, but I’m confused. Why am I on the couch? I rember going to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee, but Heiren offered to do it for so I was waiting for him to finish making one.." Coco mumbled, letting her eyes wander towards Zaque’s eyes.

Zaque’s face slowly beca hot, his hands feeling warm against Coco’s unusually cold skin, and failed to co up with a proper response.

"That’s.. I.. That’s.. That’s.. I don’t.. I— I think you’re.. Maybe?" Zaque stamred out, trying his utmost best to think, to be composed, to be honest with Coco, but the way she looked at him and the way she let him touch her made his mind a ss.

Coco blinked owlishly, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion about what Zaque ant with what he said.

Thankfully, Alhai walked inside the living room with a steaming cup of tea in his hand, but stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted Zaque frozen in front of Coco.

"What’s going on?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at the scene he caught.

Coco perked up at the sound of the third husband’s voice, her face brightening up in relief, and looked over to Zaque’s shoulder to look at Alhai, her eyes clashing with his confused ones.

"Good morning, Alhai." She greeted him first before anything, then proceeded to ask a question. "Do you have any idea on how I ended up on the couch?"

Sure, she has a hunch on what happened, but it’s not like that was what actually happened, right?

"Yes.. Heiren carried you— well, at least tried to." Alhai said, walking over to their spot and placing his mug down on the table before he crouched down beside Zaque. "He told us that he had a little difficulty so the two of you slept on the couch instead."

Then, he turned to Zaque and nudged the red haired diator by the shoulder. "You have to move. You’re kind of useless right now."

Coco and Alhai both watched the diator slowly stand up, his movents stiff and body tense, and make his way out of the living room, his face looking like slightly ripe tomatoes with how pinkish his face was.

"Is he okay?" Coco blinked, turning her attention away from the doorway to the diator in front of her.

"Yes, he’ll be fine." Alhai grunted out, his fingers curling around Coco’s forearms and pulled her off the floor, being extra careful as to not hurt her.

"He looked like he had a fever though." Coco mumbled, a worried tone lacing her voice.

"Don’t worry about him." Alhai stated bluntly and pulled his hands away. "How did you end up on the floor with him anyway? You were sleeping soundly on the couch when I left you here to grab my tea."

"I rolled over and fell." Coco said, quite adorably for his eyes which prompted him to let out a sound similar to chuckle.

"Sounds rough." Alhai comnted, turning to the table to pick up his mug before looking back at Coco again. "Heiren cooked breakfast, but we also just had lunch so there’s so for lunch, too."

"Yeah! The food tasted so good, Coco!" Lala agreed with the diator’s words and blocked her view of Alhai. "Heiren was a good cook, you know?"

"I know, Lala." Coco said with a giggle, the corner of her lips quirking up.

Alhai watched the interaction between them and could only raise an eyebrow because he didn’t understand what the fairy was saying— the ringing bells was the only thing he could hear.

"Alright, Coco." Alhai spoke up, catching their attention. "Your fairy and your little companion had already waten so you’re the only one who hasn’t."

He let out a sigh, pausing for a mont, then he continued. "You should eat. You slept through the whole day yesterday so your stomach surely has no food to digest and unfortunately, that’s not good."

Coco only nodded her head, her eyes following Alhai’s every move as he started walking towards the doorway.

As if on cue, her stomach started rumbling.

Quickly, Coco ran after the silver haired diator, eager to ease her stomach that was demanding for food.
