“Good job!”
Liam was indeed impressed with Radiant Shield’s quick reaction.
“You could’ve said sothing.”, complained the burly warrior.
Not wanting to comnt, Bleary Mirage shook his head. He couldn’t warn the party about everything beforehand. Else they would not be able to grow, never able to defeat stronger bosses.
While the two warriors were talking, no one stood still. Radiant Shield lashed out with his shield, firmly securing aggro, allowing the other close ranged fighters to attack as well.
[-190!!!]
Bloody Edge grinned as he attacked like a predator out of stealth, landing a solid critical hit.
[-98!]
Comparatively, Liam was rather unhappy with his damage although it was roughly on par with the rest of the party.
“You! Suffer my wrath!”
Fuyarhin shouted angrily as the black lines on his neck wiggled. He jumped backwards, whirling his staff. A red light lit up on its tip.
“What is this?”
The question was on everyone’s mind as a red ray of light suddenly shot at Radiant Shield.
“On no, it’s a magical attack!”
The tank gritted his teeth as his stance almost emptied out.
“Close the distance!”
Silver Blade waved her sword, compelling the party to move. But at this mont a few vents lit up before them.
“Careful!”
Bloody Edge was too eager, ahead of the party. Suddenly black flas enveloped him.
[-84!]
Feeling the heat playing around his skin, the thief turned anxious, doing a strange roll backwards.
[-60!]
“Don’t clown around! Get rid of your burn!”, reminded Liam.
Bloody Edge’s mind was chaotic as he reacted instinctively, taking out two stalks of Fiery Tacaria.
[-30!]
After one last tick of burn the thief barely managed to save his life. Balm swung her wand, sending a comfortable energy his way, healing him back to full.
“Thanks!”
“Don’t ntion it.”
“Watch out!”
Silver Blade’s eyes never swayed form the flas. As they died down a second later, she glimpsed at the priest’s staff enveloped in a red light.
Warning the party, she took the front, welcoming the hit.
[Stance -5]
The magic attack was noticeably less powerful, posing no problems to the powerful tank.
“Now! Attack!”
The party reacted imdiately, surging towards the head priest like an unstoppable flood, multiple attacks engulfing him, a lot of skills mixed in.
“You imbeciles! Die already!”
“AHHH!”
Fuyarhin let out a guttural scream. An invisible force pushed the party back. The black lines on his neck grew, quickly swallowing his face.
The priest’s hair turned black as well, his eyes spewing black flas.
“You asked for this!”
Even the priest’s voice changed, turning deeper, almost demonic.
Fuyarhin suddenly swung his staff in a wide arc. A black energy attack shot out.
“Careful! Dodge!”
Silver Blade reminded the party as she took a step to the side, protecting Balm behind her shield. A heavy impact rocked her body.
[Stance – 11]
Silver Blade frowned, inspecting the enemy again.
[Cursed Head Priest Fuyarhin
Rank: Lord
Level: 9
HP: 1432/3000
Skill 1: Fuyarhin swings his staff, producing a wave of black energy, dealing 150%(MDMG) magical damage.
Skill 2: ???]
The party scrambled madly, not expecting such an attack. Unfortunately, only Liam and Silent Acacia managed to dodge, all the others taking the direct hit.
Huge damage numbers plopped up above everyone’s heads. Cyclone and Fortune were close to death, only the nephilim’s natural defense against dark damage saving them.
“My heal isn’t off cooldown yet.”
Balm was anxious, but Fortune cald her down.
“Don’t worry we have health potions.”
“No, don’t use them yet.”, disagreed Liam.
“Why?”
“Let’s only use them if we are close to clearing the dungeon.”
“Hmm. Heartless.”
Fortune grumbled as Bleary Mirage more or less just sentenced her to death.
Liam wasn’t in the mood to argue as everyone approached the head priest again. Fuyarhin leaned on his staff, appearing tired, but he wasn’t in a weakened state.
[-32!]
Liam frowned, noticing the heavy reduction to his damage.
“Die!”
Fuyarhin growled as he flourished his staff again. Radiant Shield gritted his teeth, ready to block.
[-180!]
[-150!]
Radiant Shield’s body trembled as the priest attacked twice. With wide eyes he stared at his status.
