That morning Miguel woke up early, he smiled as he looked at the peacefully sleeping woman next to him. He gently placed a kiss on her cheek before moving to leave the bed.

"Where are you going?' Veronica asked, it seed Miguel's actions had woken her up.

"I need to get to the hospital, love." Miguel said as he leaned in to kiss her again. "I still have an unconscious, recovering patient."

"Can't Nicole do it?" Veronica complained as her sleep was disturbed.

"Do you really think Nicole has had more sleep than ?" Miguel said with a laugh. "And besides, I slept like a baby last night."

"Fine." Veronica said as she got up from bed.

"You know you don't need to co." Miguel told her as she walked out to the guest room.

"I'm worried about Adri too." Veronica told Miguel.

"Alright. I'll have the chef cook us so breakfast before checking up on Adrianna." Miguel said as he walked out the door right behind his wife.

After a bath the couple sat down at the dining table to eat. Both Veronica and Miguel didn't say a word so their al was filled with an awkward silence. Miguel looked up at his wife and noticed that sothing still didn't seem right.

"Veronica, is there sothing else bothering you?" Miguel asked.

"No." Veronica said, giving her quick reply.

"V, you still look bothered." Miguel said tenderly.

Veronica took a deep breath and debated in her mind if she should tell Miguel about the incident in Paris years ago. She was about to confess to Miguel when a maid suddenly announced that Ian, Nicole, and Eric had just arrived.

"Why do you have to ruin our mont?" Miguel complained as his older brother entered, laughing.

"We're family, it's our job to be a pain in the ass." Eric said with a shrug.

"Ian needs to go with us to the hospital to check on Cedric." Nicole said, changing the topic.

"You're just using Cedric as an excuse to spend more ti together." Veronica saw right through Nicole's excuse. It was a weekend, and thus no work needed to be done.

"Work never stops for CEOs." Nicole said, crossing her arms.

"Fine, fine." Miguel rolled his eyes at this sister. "Are you done, love?" Miguel asked Veronica who already started getting up.

Veronica stood up and they all made their way to the cars outside.

In the hospital room, the group found Cedric and Ayanna chatting while watching over Adrianna and little Emilio. Miguel greeted the siblings as they entered, when they arrived they were greeted by his team and they joined him to check up on Adrianna. All of them were aware that Cedric was the Reyes Heir so there was no need for Cedric to hide himself.

Miguel stood at the foot of the bed examining her charts while Nicole and Veronica played with little Emilio who was on a bed next to Adrianna.

"Everything seems fine." Miguel said as he flipped through the pages. "She should wake up soon. She's recovering better than I expected."

"That's great." Cedric said with a smile.

Miguel proceeded to give instructions to his team before finally letting them leave.

"Jo, why don't you stay a bit?" Cedric asked his friend. It had been awhile since they last got to talk. Jo had been busy working with Miguel, while he was busy working at the Reyes Group. Cedric felt bad that he, Tom, and Jo rarely got to talk these days.

Jo paused and looked at Miguel. As Miguel's head nurse there were a lot of things that Jo had to do. Miguel simply nodded prompting Jo to pass on the instructions Miguel initially gave him.

"Feeling like a dad yet?" Jo asked in jest as he walked towards Cedric.

Cedric laughed. "If you an I feel like this boy is going to be my whole world from now on? Definitely!" Cedric told Jo.

The two n talked for a bit until a nurse ca in and inford Jo that he was needed with a matter they couldn't handle. Jo excused himself and Cedric promised to spend more ti with him and Tom in the future.

"How do you plan to tell Tom?" Jo asked right before he left.

"I still don't know." Cedric admitted.

"Good luck then." Jo said as he exited the room.

"Have you even slept yet Cedric?" Nicole asked as she watched the little baby as he yawned and smiled. Everyone had noticed the fatigue in Cedric's eyes the mont they walked in. It seed he had spent the whole night watching his wife and son.

"I slept a bit." Cedric said, as he joined Nicole who was looking at the baby. "I'm pretty sure I had more sleep than Nicole." Cedric teased.

Nicole looked up and stuck out her tongue. Everyone just laughed at her reaction.

"Why don't you go back to your villa and we'll call you if anything happens? You need your rest brother." Ayanna said. She had arrived early this morning with breakfast for Cedric.

"I'll just take a nap on the couch." Cedric said, as he yawned and kissed his son before finally making himself comfortable on the couch.

As the first child in the group, everyone was eager to see more of little Emilio, as soon as Cedric relaxed the Sebastian siblings arrived.

"Oh he's so cute!" Natalia exclaid, as she joined Nicole watching the baby sleep.

Katerina and Alexi on the other hand walked over to Adrianna and asked Miguel about her condition. They all chose not to bother Cedric since he looked extrely exhausted.

Within the next hour everyone had arrived in Adrianna's room, it was a good thing that the rooms in the hospital were quite large and could accomodate all of them. It seed that everyone silently agreed that Cedric needed to rest, so no one even greeted him when they arrived. They let Cedric lie down in peace.

Just as Cedric was dozing off he heard Miguel call his na. He suddenly sat up and saw that Adrianna was slowly waking up. Cedric moved quickly to his wife's side and held her hand.

"Adri? Adrianna?" Cedric called out.

Adrianna's eyes slowly opened, but she wore a confused look on her face. It seed that she didn't recognize where she was or who was around her.
