Chapter 411

Great Sorcerer, Nurture (1)

The next morning, Evan woke up early again, but he couldn’t find Maybell on the bed. When he went downstairs, he found Maybell preparing breakfast with just an apron covering her naked body.

“Maybell, wear so clothes.”

“Is that all you have to say!?”

Evan spoke bluntly at the seductive Maybell. Then, Maybell shouted as she turned around.

“Your intentions are easily readable.”

“But it isn’t a bad thing?”

“Not bad.”

Maybell seed satisfied with Evan’s honest reply. He forced her to wear clothes when she threw away her apron and approached him, and then they had a light breakfast.

“Why did you keep all these food ingredients in your inventory pocket?”

“For ergency use. We might accidentally end up getting stuck in a dungeon that has no exit for years.”

“No way such a dungeon exists.”

There was in Yo-Ma Great War 4. It was included in the DLC, and the dungeon lovers could spend the rest of their lives in it. Besides, the dungeons’ location is random, so those who wanted to explore it must be ready at all tis.

“Even if it exists, it won’t be just years.”

“The inventory pocket seed to be endless, so I was curious about its limit…”

“Even the squirrels will be amazed by it.”

But because of its functionality, they were able to enjoy their usual tea and cakes even in God’s Era, so it was good.

“What about the spirits from yesterday?”

“I believe they were present. I think we should start focusing on finding a solution.”

“However, if we co up with a asure, wouldn’t Mirole know that she was found out?”

“She sure is a naughty lady. With how things turned out, shall we make an example?”

Evan pinched her cheeks as she spoke like a real succubus. Thinking of Mirole coming up scarily with a reddened face after finishing the tea and going outside, perhaps doing what she suggested sounded better.

“Ze-Zero. Good morning.”

“Thanks. Did you sleep well?”

“I didn’t…Ah, I, I did.”

‘What should I do with this curious elf girl?’ Evan was lost in thought. Mirole, who didn’t know what he was thinking, approached him like a wild cat and touched him.

“What shall we do today?”

“Like what I said yesterday, we will make sure the humans learn how to defend themselves.”

The ancient orcs with trendous aura from yesterday were considered strong in the present tis, but they were re orcs in God’s Era. There were only a few that were weaker monsters than them, like wild animals, goblins, and so insects.

“At least, they should be able to kill orcs. The sa goes with Dwarves. Everyone here needs to know how to fight.”

“Good idea. If anyone wants to learn how to use a bow, I’ll help…”

“Nope.”

Evan shook his head in denial of Mirole’s words.

“You need to learn, too.”

“…Huh?”

“You are also weak.”

Mirole wore a tearful face at Evan’s straightforward words, but he didn’t intend to take them back. He was frustrated when he usually played Yo-Ma Great War Zero. It was because the growth of Mirole’s insane abilities in bow and spirits was too slow, even if it was for the sake of story progress and balance! When things flowed accordingly, she showed a spectacular mont in helping to seal the Devil with abilities on par with the Great Ancient Sorcerer in the final chapter. Still, in other words, she couldn’t do much until then. Of course, Yo-Ma Great War Zero was a masterpiece focused on the Great Ancient Sorcerer. Mirole’s growth in the final chapter was very heart-warming, but…he couldn’t bear to see her, who has such potential, get stronger at a snail’s pace.

“So, you will train as well.”

“I’m an elf. Zero, you will be surprised at how much ti I’ve spent on my training.”

“That would be the proof that your training wasn’t effective.”

“Argh.”

Mirole beca quiet while murmuring at Evan’s firm words. “Then tell how hard you’ve trained!” were the words she wanted to utter, but the strength she witnessed from him until now was too much. He wouldn’t have earned it without training, so Mirole predicted that he had undergone unimaginable hardships.

“You aren’t planning to have take all the work, right? Isn’t the reason you left the elves was to experience it yourself?”

“…You’re right.”

“Then, you need to beco strong. I’ll show you the path, so all you have to do is to trust and run on it.”

“Understood…If you kindly show the vision, I’ll accept it gladly.”

‘Vision? What vision? Wait, co to think about it, referring the path as a vision isn’t wrong, after all.’

“Then everyone, get up! Let’s eat!”

He tried to assemble them after having breakfast, but they didn’t have any food. And since they didn’t have any, they had to do what Evan told them to do. Everyone got up and appeared as they heard the word breakfast.

“Oh god!”

“He is the god of Dwarves. You guys are idiot, humans.”

“Krgh, midgets…!”

There were no serious conflicts as they didn’t et each other yesterday, but it was different today. And they had a similar scale in numbers, so they were alerted against each other with fears that their foods might be taken away. Trying to pick a fight, although they didn’t have any talent, Evan spoke as he was at a loss for words.

“Fighting ans no food for that day. That’s the first rule in our village.”

“Understood!”

The dwarves and humans overca their misunderstandings and reconciled with each other at Evan’s words. He continued with the feeling that he beca a teacher in a kindergarten.

“We’ll have breakfast, and then we’ll begin with training. Sa thing for the dwarves. Even when you spend your afternoon on magical weaponry, you need to enhance your physical abilities in the morning. This is the second rule.”

“Understood!”

There were so dwarves that preferred striking hamrs over moving their bodies to fight, but they couldn’t go against Evan as he wouldn’t give them any food.

“Good. Then, first…”

Evan drew out all kinds of weapons from his inventory pocket and left them on the ground. The dwarves and humans were clearly surprised.

“Hiiiik, there are so many weapons!”

“They aren’t made by the dwarves, yet how are their qualities so great?”

“Now, everyone, feel the weapons and report to which weapon you think is the strongest among all. Those who don’t perceive anything by touching the weapons co to .”

Evan recalled the ti he taught the god race’s children for the first ti and smiled a little. The dwarves and humans were dumbfounded, but they moved as Evan instructed.

“Is there sothing we can perceive from the weapon?”

Mirole asked out of curiosity as she was watching it from the side. Evan nodded.

“Don’t you feel comfortable and sense sothing strong when touching a bow?”

“All elves feel the sa.”

“That’s because elves have bow affinity.”

Mirole was in great shock.

“Isn’t it a privilege given only to the forest fairies?”

“It is difficult to find a human whose bow affinity is as high as the elves.”

“Then, you an there are humans that have affinities with weapons like elves…?”

“As I’ve ntioned earlier, there are such things as low and high affinity. All elves have high bow affinity, but for most humans, they have a low or moderate affinity.”

Of course, there were exceptions. The black-haired girl, Sharay, had a ridiculously high affinity in terms of magic tools, and such exceptions tended to change the course of history.

“Zero, how do you know such things…?”

“Well, I’m not sure.”

Evan’s superior acting skill started naturally. Mirole saw his lonely and void expression, and instead of asking him, she started imagining things by herself. Wasn’t it possible for descendants of the king that established civilization? If so, she began to understand a tiny bit of the background to his overwhelming power and the insane objects he owned!

“Did everyone pick their weapons?”

“Yes, we did!”

Evan was worried there would be people that experienced a similar thing like him, but it was a aningless worry. All people that were present found their matching weapon.

“But, Master, I want to ask you a question.”

Maybell whispered to him.

“If they were able to easily know their weapon affinities, how co they weren’t able to do so until you told them so?”

“People with high affinities can find the right weapons with so luck. But for those who don’t, they won’t know just by holding the weapon.”

There was a huge gap between finding an adequate weapon for the sake of fighting and knowing the differences between each weapon on a real-ti basis. Not to even ntion, it would be vastly different for those who didn’t know anything about affinities in the first place. The regular people lived their lives without knowing their affinities. However, heroes fighting at the frontline sowhat grasp the identity of their affinities.

“Then, will they learn how to use the weapons from now on?”

“Nope, that’s too early.”

Evan marked the weapons they chose and retrieved them all. He said it firmly to those who looked dumbstruck.

“Even if you’ve known your weapon affinities, you have to have the right physical requirents in order to use them. From now on, you will undergo training.”

“T-training?”

“Yup. Many from the Knighthood and the Kingdom…wait.”

The newbie training that was inspired by the training manual for all kingdoms and knighthood with Shine’s intervention had been transford into a minor version by Evan for civilians…Evan was about to honestly talk about his training thod, but he stopped. He started to get irritated by his own alibi that he had lost his mories.

“It’s a training thod made by . It enhances your body and increases your mana, so shut up and do it.”

“Mana?”

“Ah, yup. I’ll show you what mana is later on.”

How could those who didn’t even know about the existence of mana survive up till now? Evan looked far away and noticed Mirole and Sharay coming at him.

“Dear God, what should I do?”

“Ah, you.”

Evan looked for the magic tool suited for the beginner’s training course, but sadly, he didn’t have any. His expression distorted after realizing that he had given them all to the trainees in the present ti.

“Well, well, then I’ll have to stick with the second-best plan.”

“Second best plan?”

“Yup.”

Ctheasil invented many things after eting with Evan. There were those that were inspired from the original Earth where Yeo Ban Min lived, such as the air conditioner, and others were from hints by the nurous ruckuses Evan caused in Sherden. Among the inventions was an object inspired by the magical tool, which Evan introduced as a training weapon for using magic.

“This won’t be adequate for beginners as it requires a lot of mana, but it might be suitable for you.”

“Is this…a broom?”

Sharay was dumbfounded as she received the broom. Maybell glanced at Evan as she saw what happened, but Evan ignored her.

“It’s a magic tool for containing and manipulating mana. I’ll tell you the thirteen settings on it, so rember them well. When you are capable of fully controlling this broom, you won’t need to worry about mana manipulation.”

That was right. Unlike the lamp-type magic tool that only had on-and-off functionalities, the broom was a tool that could maximize the mana manipulation skill with thirteen settings! The only side effect was that it required a ridiculous amount of mana to use. Nobody except Sharay could even hold onto it.

“It suits you well.”

“I know about it, so stop ntioning it all the ti. Maybell, help Sharay in applying her mana.”

“Jeez.”

When Evan turned back after finding a solution for Sharay’s training, Mirole was waiting quietly. By her look fixed on the broom which Sharay was holding, she must be wanting it too.

“Zero, what should I do?”

“I’ll show you. Mirole, may I borrow this bow for a while? Ah, and also lend eight arrows.”

“Sure.”

Evan plunged the arrows he borrowed from Mirole into the ground with a fixed distance between one another. Mirole tilted her head, asking herself if Evan was doing so kind of a ritual. Evan held the bow in one hand and positioned another hand on the ground to get into the posture. Then he swiftly rotated around the area where the arrows were plunged while stretching. He folded his hand on the ground. It looked as if he was dancing on the ground.

“Pfft!”

Mirole burst into laughter. Evan finished his third lap and looked at Mirole with a satisfied look.

“Did you see it? Now, you will repeat it.”

“…Huh?”

“This is the training for archery.”

“I didn’t see you even pull the bow, and you call it a training?”

“Yup.”

Evan’s smile was too cheerful.

“You’ll know once you try.”
