I checked my Internal Blackhole storage for Sung Hei. She was in her sword form, frozen in ti. My blackhole storage functioned as my own dinsional space, so I decided to place her there.
This way, the Ti wraiths wouldn't detect her, unless they found a way into my storage. It was a gamble, but it paid off.
For the ti being, I would kept her there, waiting until I found a way to retrieve her without alerting the Ti Wraiths. I hated to admit it, but I had neither the ans to see nor to kill them.
This was really concerning because I had no idea about those things. Sung Hei knew about them, but I couldn't take her out right now.
'I'll check the area first,' I thought to myself.
Becoming invisible, I soared towards the crater's entrance. The devastation was so severe that I doubted anyone could have survived besides myself.
But, questions nagged at . Such widespread destruction was sure to have ripple effects in the future. So why did the ti wraiths unleash this havoc?
I was certain that this destruction would scatter far and wide, setting off a domino effect across the world.
CRACK!
Suddenly, without warning, the sky above began to crack. It wasn't just cracks; it was as if the entire place resembled a shattered glass, with web-like fissures spreading out in all directions, as if the very fabric of reality itself was fracturing before my eyes.
But I did not panic.
Instead, I braced myself for the worst, summoning every ounce of courage and power within .
CRACK!
In the blink of an eye, everything shattered, and darkness engulfed my vision.
When I finally regained my sight, I found myself back in Sung Hei's prep room. There she was, calmly preparing herself as if nothing had happened.
But I knew for sure that this wasn't the sa Sung Hei. In fact, it wasn't just her; all my connections with my puppets had vanished too.
"You are?" Sung Hei's duplicate stared at , her eyes filled with confusion.
She looked like Sung Hei, slled like her, and her deanor was identical, but deep down, I knew for sure that I was talking to a fake.
I tried using my suggestion on her, and it worked flawlessly. However, after inspecting her stats, it beca clear that the woman in front of was just a normal human.
My mind raced for answers, running through multiple scenarios and simulations in an attempt to find the best explanation for all of this.
'I get it now,' I muttered to myself, piecing together my hypothesis of what was happening here.
I had three guesses.
First, the Ti Wraiths were resetting everything, replacing all those who died with alternate versions of themselves.
Versions that wouldn't disrupt the future.
It might sound like nonsense at first, but considering they are supposedly guardians of ti, executing sothing like this wouldn't be entirely impossible.
My notion was inspired by the concept of multiple reality theory, which suggests the existence of parallel universes and alternate tilines.
So, my theory was that they replaced all the people who died here with their counterparts. As for Sung Hei, she seed to be the version of her who had never encountered or my mother. I began asking her so questions, and as expected, she had no knowledge of Min Hee, the foundation, or anything related to our shared experiences.
Her life was completely different from that of the real Sung Hei. This only solidified my suspicion that these replacents were indeed alternate versions of the individuals who had died in the catastrophe orchestrated by the Ti Wraiths.
Of course, this was just a guess. Another possibility could be that the Tiwraiths simply rewound ti and altered Sung Hei alone, offering a simpler explanation for what was happening.
But that wouldn't explain why my Mind Link was no longer working.
'This is getting more complicated,' I sighed to myself as I turned around and left.
There was still sothing that concerned deeply. My third guess .
The possibility that I was the only one who had been transported into another alternate reality instead.
With that concern in my mind ,I turned invisible and flew towards the Yuki's clan. If this was the sa reality as before then my connection with them would still be okay. I wanted to think that the case was just isolated on the stadium.
Fortunately, the mont I entered their range, my Mind Link connected to them right away, confirming my theory that it was just an isolated case, and I was still in my real world.
I hurriedly made my way to Yuki's room, where she was currently resting.
"Master!" Yuki exclaid as she saw , rushing over to give a hug. I could sll her aroma as we embraced each other.
"I had a bad feeling a few minutes ago," Yuki spoke up, her voice tinged with concern. It seed that my connection with her had allowed her to sense sothing was amiss during my face-off with the Wraiths.
Pulling back slightly, I looked into her eyes and smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry."
She nodded, her expression reflecting both trust and concern. "What happened out there?"
"Nothing important," I chuckled, deciding not to divulge any further details. I knew she wouldn't understand the complexities of the situation; after all, the concept of ti was too intricate for most to grasp.
The only reason I was able to co up with my own hypothesis right away was due to my accelerated thought process and high IQ.
After dealing with her, I made my way to the underground base to speak with the Phoenix.
The statue was currently the only one here that I could discuss things with. Perhaps it knew sothing that I didn't.
"Ti Wraiths?" the statue asked.
"Do you know about them?" I inquired, hoping for so insight.
"I apologize, but I have no knowledge about this topic," the statue replied. "However, judging from your story, they seem to be very formidable beings."
"Formidable is a very heavy understatent," I sighed, acknowledging the gravity of the situation.
It was a worriso situation, but at the sa ti, sothing inside felt that this was just the start. I had a feeling I would encounter them more often in the future.
