A couple of weeks have passed since the conclusion of the 30-Day War. Most of the ti, the United World Governnt was engaged in stabilizing the socio-political and economic circumstance of the Ferus Sea. After the forr Colonial Dominions had recovered into their basic governance, the World Governnt swiftly began the integration, transforming them into states.
For the first ti, Abraham wasn't standing or lounging within the crown of the Citadel. Instead, he was inside the transferred office of the Pri Minister, which was directly at the bottom of the towering structure. The reason why he made an appearance was to et with the troubleso and transford Pri Minister, Charlotte. As such, before him was a seated and smirking beauty.
"My, my... I didn't expect for the Great Authority to be in my office. I thought you would be spending your free ti lounging at the top." Charlotte remarked, staring at the middle-aged man. Abraham sighed after hearing her and sat at the chair near her table. "I would rather be resting there, but I have a job to do. Especially with how much things had changed in the blink of an eye."
Charlotte tilted her head with her eyebrows slightly raised. "I guess that makes sense, though I never would have thought that you would be out of your office, Abraham. That seems to be your house more than anything else." She comnted while he could only wryly smile at her. He recognized why she would be acting in such a way as he mainly spent most of his ti in the office.
"I'm afraid I cannot deny my fault in the matter, however I am not here to talk about my behavior." He decided to change the subject as his failures to leave his office wasn't the reason why he entered her office. "I want to discuss about the current situation of the United World Governnt, especially the new mber states that had joined us."
"I see... That makes sense." Charlotte nodded in understanding, her expression turning serious. Opening her drawers, she opened files regarding reports about the circumstance of the states. Such report would be usually sent to him after the confirmation of the information and the refinent of data, but he wanted the raw intelligence of the new mber states.
"Here is the raw data, Abraham. I have already taken my ti to read it, and it should already be heading to your office once the information inside had been confird." She stated while shifting the files towards him. The bureaucracy of the United World Governnt was intricate. Usually as to bring rcy upon himself, reports would be summarized in their important details for efficiency.
But the raw intelligence would give him the view of the person sending it, unlike the usual logical and proven reports sent to his office.
Abraham took the reports and calmly read it while Charlotte continued doing her job. Managing various departnts of the United World Governnt was far from easy. However, thanks to the assistance of computers and hardworking civil servants. The job was rather bearable. She rely needed to make decisions for each problems presented and let them handle it.
Inside the reports, it seed that the situation within the outer sea regions had cald down. After the defeat of the Colonial Dominions, chaos reign supre over these islands as the governing entity lost their power and authority. It was the greatest ti for criminal organizations to rise. Whether it'd be from the forr governnt or forr military of the sea region.
Thankfully, the United Military stepped in and crushed these variables before they could grow to beco a problem. During the recovery of these islands, the United Military would ensure the security and safety of the people while also requiring civilians who wished to stay to apply for citizenships. Otherwise, they could return to the mainland after negotiations with Europa.
It seed that the forr civilians of the Colonial Dominion weren't that loyal to the League of Humanity. It also seed that they weren't resistant with the abolition of slavery. However, racial prejudiced couldn't be imdiately snuffed out. It would require for the new citizens to be reeducated about the ways of the United World Governnt.
After all, slavery and racial superiority was the norm of the Primordial World. It was an inherent part of it, so the World Governnt was required to be careful when navigating in such a complex matter. What was needed was ti and patience. Through education and cultural mixing, it wouldn't take long for the tide of change to begin.
At any rate, the new states were nurous starting from the State of Mavors, State of Hesperus, State of rcurius, State of Optimus, State of Phainon, State of Caelus, State of Oceanus, State of Vesta, and finally State of Nox. These were the new mber states of the United World Governnt. Obviously, there was an clear trend regarding these states.
A single state comprised of an entire sea region. Otherwise, if these states were further divided intricately, it would be nothing short of hell for the World Governnt. Through these reasonings, the World Governnt proposed the formation of the central state. Such a state would comprised of the states within the core region.
As such it was called the State of Terra.
It was composed of states within the sea region of Terra, and this included the State of Pelagus, the World Governnt, and the non-mber state of the forr southern colony. Because of the unification of these states, the World Governnt further consolidated itself within the Ferus Sea. It was a natural event brought about by the adaptation of changing tis.
The United World Governnt was growing, and although its current self wasn't completely comparable to the League of Humanity. It was approaching behind it.
Other than the new mber states, there was also the ever-more growing Atlas Conglorate. That's right, the Atlas Corporation have evolved and delved into various markets. Since trade had existed after the birth of the country, even within the fringes of the Ferus Sea, Atlas had a tingle of influence however small it may be. It was perfect for consolidating the influence of the United World Governnt economically.
Resources and products of each different sea regions were being mixed together. It brought about a cultural lting pot, which introduced the culture of others even without directly contacting. Although at first, the products weren't popular after the local population of the forr Colonial Dominions realized it ca from the beastfolks of Terra.
After advertisents and a bit of propaganda, these products of the beastfolks mixed alongside the local items. There was so hesitation, but at the very least, the local population was slowly accepting the tide of change instead of extrely resisting against it.
There was also the logistics of trade and the military. As reported before, through the utilization of the strategic ships and the mass-production of Combined-Technology. Even comrcial ships of the Atlas Conglorate could soar across the heavens, whether it'd be passengers or cargo vessels. Such technology was highly contained only to the inner circle of the United World Governnt.
After all, it would only be released to the public once they got sothing better.
Speaking of the strategic ships, because of the growing numbers of these vessels, flight routes were established with the prerequisite of the HERS Spatial-Transmission Engine. These transmission routes would usually be centered around the widest and easiest point of spatial-transfer. There was no doubt that the United World Governnt was adapting to its technologies.
Abraham continued reading, spotting so confidents of the spies that had gathered such information alongside the intelligence officers. So remarked about the stabilizing outer sea regions, while others were comnting about the changing technology of the United World Governnt. Their reflections made him sohow chuckle.
Seeing the satisfied expression of the middle-aged man, Charlotte also softly smiled. Gone was her usual teasing and sarcastic self, replaced by the one that had brought her to beco the first Pri Minister of the United World Governnt. To be honest, a decade in the office was quite long. The impact she would have over the new society established within the Ferus Sea would be lasting.
But such things known as legacy or reputation didn't matter that much to her. After all, what was important was the present. She silently gazed at Abraham and a thought erged within her mind. Since the war against the Colonial Dominions had ended, wouldn't Abraham be free? Although there was the troubleso stabilization process that would keep them working.
Following that, he would practically have little to do. It was an opportunity.
"Ehem..." Charlotte lightly coughed, attracting the attention of Abraham who raised his eyebrows. "Charlotte, are you alright? Don't tell you're sick?" He questioned, a bit worried. Although she was strong, the Pri Minister was still a human through and through. It would be improbable for her to get sick. Noticing his worry, she chuckled and waved her hand in denial.
"I'm not sick, Abraham. I just want to ask you a question." Charlotte softly expressed, earning the curious expression of the middle-aged man. "Alright, what would you like to know, Charlotte?" Abraham wasn't the type to deny favors, especially those who were close to him. "Well, it's nothing special, to be honest. I rely wanted to ask whether you're free later this week."
"Free? Would you like to eat outside? There are so interesting restaurants in the Citadel." He calmly asked while Charlotte lightly chuckled and smiled at him. "I'll be looking forward, Abraham."
