Looking at Yao Ran and Long Yu's expressions, Shi Xuan chuckled, "I will show you after breakfast."

While the three of them ate, Li Tianyu and his team had just finished moving 5,000 doses of lake water to the Second Army's hospital.

Du Zhaoyi picked up a small bottle of the lake water and asked skeptically, "Captain Li, are you sure this water can really cure deformation?"

Li Tianyu nodded and said firmly, "I'm very sure, Commander."

After opening the bottle, Du Zhaoyi sniffed the water and frowned. "It looks like ordinary water to ."

Unhappy with his doubt, Li Tianyu said coldly, "If you are skeptical, Commander Du, just let the doctors give it a try."

Du Zhaoyi was silent for a mont before saying, "Administer this water to the patients."

With his order, the doctors and nurses sprang into action. So carried bottles of the lake water to the inpatient area, while the soldiers stored the rest in the hospital's dical storage.

Standing beside a hospital bed, Du Zhaoyi watched as a doctor gave a patient a mouthful of lake water. As the patient drank, Du Zhaoyi's eyes widened in surprise.

The deford part of the patient's body began to change visibly. The bulging, almost ruptured eyes slowly returned to their normal appearance.

Once the transformation stopped, the chief doctor imdiately examined the patient.

Du Zhaoyi leaned closer and anxiously asked, "How is it?"

The chief doctor withdrew his hands and said, "Commander Du, this is a dical miracle! The patient's eyes have fully recovered!"

As soon as his words fell, Du Zhaoyi smiled for the first ti.

He patted Li Tianyu's shoulder and excitedly said, "Captain Li, you have made a huge contribution. Thank you for your hard work, more than 5,000 soldiers can now be saved!"

Li Tianyu breathed a sigh of relief and shook his head, "It's all thanks to Miss Yao and Captain Long. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to deliver the dicine safely."

Du Zhaoyi, who had already received a report about the events that happened today outside the wall, nodded in agreent. "You are right. We must thank them properly once things settle down."

He then turned to the chief doctor and said, "Doctor, please use the dicine to save the soldiers as quickly as possible."

The chief doctor hesitated for a mont before saying, "Commander, there isn't enough dicine for all the soldiers. Could more be provided?"

Du Zhaoyi frowned and fell into deep thought. A few seconds later, he said, "Prioritize those in critical condition. I will try to secure more dicine."

The chief doctor nodded, "Yes, Commander."

Du Zhaoyi saw that his presence was unnecessary and said, "I will leave you to your work." With that, he left the hospital with Li Tianyu. On their way out, Du Zhaoyi asked, "Where are Captain Long and Miss Yao staying now?"

"I heard Captain Wu arranged a villa for them in the central area," Li Tianyu replied.

Du Zhaoyi chuckled, "It seems we are not the only ones trying to recruit them into our team." After a brief pause, he added, "Get so rest for now. You may need to go out again later." Li Tianyu saluted and said, "Yes, Commander."

As he left the hospital, Li Tianyu glanced back at Du Zhaoyi, who was in conversation with a soldier. Seeing this scene, his eyes flickered briefly before he turned away.

While everyone was busy with their own tasks, a group of people arrived near the Juncheng Military Base.

A man sitting on the roof of an armored car used binoculars to observe the situation outside the base.

As he stared at the deford monsters roaming and gathering in the distance, one of his subordinates approached him and said, "Captain Wu, we have received the latest information from the other teams in Juncheng City."

Wu Yehao lowered the binoculars, looked at the man, and asked, "What did they say?"

The subordinate checked his laptop and reported, "Team B sent the latest image of a woman who resembles Miss Yao Ran. It shows that she left Juncheng City six months ago. The sa woman then appeared at the Shan Wu Resort a few days later."

"After the acid rain, the woman seems to have returned to Juncheng City and then disappeared from the radar. Today, she finally reappeared and entered the Juncheng Military Base."

Wu Yehao listened to the report and fell into deep thought. After a mont of silence, he took the laptop from his subordinate, read the data, and said, "Head to the Juncheng Military Base."

"Yes, Captain Wu." The man nodded at his order.

Handing the laptop back, Wu Yehao tapped his watch, waiting briefly before Yao Yuechuan's voice ca through.

"Brother, it's rare for you to call . What's up?"

Hearing the teasing in his tone, Wu Yehao calmly replied, "I have found clues about Miss Yao

Ran. I might see her today."

Yao Yuechuan's voice beca excited when he asked, "Where? Where is she now?"

"She is at the Juncheng Military Base," Wu Yehao replied.

Just as he said this, his subordinate ca to report. "Captain, we are ready to go."

Hearing this, Wu Yehao told Yao Yuechuan, "I will contact you again after I get into the base." He then ended the call without waiting for Yao Yuechuan's response. Turning to his subordinate, he said, "Let's go."

In Yucheng City, Yao Yuechuan had just finished scolding Wu Yehao over the abrupt end of the call. Once he was done, he quickly put on his gear, grabbed his weapon and backpack, and rushed out of his quarters.

When the patrolling soldiers saw him fully equipped, one of them asked, "Captain Yao, where are you going? Didn't Commander Fu order you to assist with Professor Shao's research?"

"I need to find my younger sister. If Uncle Fu asks, tell him I'm heading to the Juncheng Military Base," he said as he hurried away.

Watching him disappear in the corner, the soldiers exchanged confused glances before one of them said, "I will report this to Commander Fu."
