"So we still couldn’t stop him from becoming the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki..."
Naruto clenched his teeth, staring at the figure suspended in the sky. Sweat rolled down his temples despite the golden chakra flaring around him.
Six Paths Obito felt completely different now.
Even through Sage Mode, Naruto could barely get a clear read on him. The pressure alone was overwhelming. This was the first ti Naruto had ever felt a threat this absolute, this suffocating.
He wasn’t afraid.
But he would be lying if he said it didn’t shake him.
The Ten-Tails had already been hard enough to deal with. Now, rged with a human will, Obito felt even more dangerous.
"Kurama," Naruto asked quietly, "is this the Ten-Tails’ final form?"
"...Not yet," Kurama replied, his expression grim. "But it’s close."
Naruto swallowed. "So he can still get stronger?"
Sasuke didn’t answer. Blood stread from his eyes as he raised his gaze.
"Amaterasu."
Black flas surged toward Obito.
Without the cocoon, maybe this ti—
Obito lifted his hand.
The black flas burned against his palm.
He closed his fist.
The flas vanished.
At the sa mont, crimson light ignited along the five tail-like protrusions behind his neck.
"Sasuke—watch out!" Sasuke shouted.
Too late.
A skeletal Susanoo ford around him and Naruto for a split second before shattering like glass. The two of them were blasted away as if struck by a siege weapon.
They smashed into the ground, carving trenches before finally stopping.
Naruto coughed blood.
Sasuke wiped red from the corner of his mouth, eyes wide.
"That speed..." he muttered. "If he keeps moving like that, I won’t be able to lock onto him with Anotejikara."
A black sphere pierced through the smoke, flying straight at them.
It looked simple. Unremarkable.
Sasuke’s Rinnegan flared in alarm.
"That thing—don’t block it!"
"Naruto!"
He reached out, but the distance was too great.
Naruto reacted instantly. A golden chakra arm shot forward, grabbing Sasuke’s wrist.
Sasuke’s eyes flashed.
"Anotejikara!"
Their positions vanished.
A boulder appeared where they’d been.
The black sphere struck it.
There was no explosion. No debris.
Everything within the impact radius was erased.
If Fujimoto Tōma had been there, he would have noticed the difference imdiately. Obito’s Truth-Seeking Orb wasn’t designed for wide destruction. It focused everything into a lethal, condensed zone.
Obito moved again.
Naruto and Sasuke tensed—
Then Obito suddenly convulsed.
His body bulged grotesquely, chakra surging out of control. He crashed to the ground, limbs spasming.
"...What’s happening?" Naruto asked.
"He hasn’t fully stabilized the Ten-Tails yet," Sasuke said sharply. "This is our chance. We finish it now!"
They charged.
Obito’s torso had swollen unnaturally, his abdon distorted into a massive tumor-like mass. And yet, he still stared at them.
His body stretched forward like a serpent.
Naruto felt a chill. "What kind of monster even is this...?"
"Focus," Sasuke said. "Now."
Naruto nodded.
"Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!"
At the sa ti—
"Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi!"
Sasuke molded Amaterasu into Naruto’s Rasenshuriken.
A black-flad Rasenshuriken roared to life.
Obito lunged, arms reaching—
Naruto and Sasuke vanished again.
Obito slamd headfirst into a rock, shattering it.
They reappeared beside his torso.
Together, they drove the blazing Rasenshuriken straight into him.
Obito scread.
His body snapped back to normal shape as the attack detonated, black flas tearing into him.
His legs lashed out, sweeping both of them away.
Naruto and Sasuke crashed again, forcing themselves upright as they stared into the inferno.
Did it work?
The explosion faded.
The flas still burned.
And in their center—
Obito stood.
Unhard.
His form had changed again.
A pale, robe-like mantle ford along his back, shaped from the chakra of the tailed beasts. In his hand was a black staff, marked with Six Paths symbols. Nine Truth-Seeking Orbs floated behind him.
He tilted his neck slowly, as if adjusting to a new body.
"...Now," Obito said calmly, eyes finally sharp, "I can deal with the two of you properly."
Sasuke was breathing heavily. His vision swam.
Using Anotejikara twice in quick succession had drained him badly.
"This is bad," Naruto muttered, sensing it instantly.
Golden chakra surged around him, forming a massive chakra avatar that wrapped Sasuke inside.
"How long until you recover?" Naruto asked.
Sasuke shook his head slightly. "Not soon. Use it."
Naruto hesitated for half a second. Then nodded.
Purple-black chakra erupted as Susanoo ford around Kurama’s chakra body.
Kurama Susanoo.
From afar, Madara watched, eyes widening slightly.
"...That brings back mories."
Beside him, Fujimoto Tōma finally arrived, stretching lazily as he sat down.
"They need this fight," Tōma said calmly. "And if they lose—well, I’m still here."
Madara glanced at him. "You’re not surprised by Six Paths power?"
Tōma smiled faintly. "Six Paths isn’t godhood. If it were, Kaguya wouldn’t have fallen. And the Sage wouldn’t have died."
Madara scoffed.
Tōma stood.
"Looks like I ssed up their difficulty curve a bit."
He vanished.
Madara’s lips curved into a smile.
At last... everyone was on the stage.
From beneath his feet, sothing stirred.
Black and white.
A single Rinnegan.
Sothing else had arrived.
