"You damn fox! It took two whole days to repair the floating barrier over Tianxiang Mountain—you have to give an explanation for this!!"

Shukaku floated in midair above a palace nearly a hundred ters across, shouting at the top of his lungs. From afar, the palace was surrounded by erald peaks and drifting clouds, birdsong echoing through the air as countless agile spirit birds wheeled and circled.

"Heh~"

Kurama's booming laughter echoed from deep within the palace. A man slowly stepped out through the palace gates—red hair, red brows, vertical slit pupils, and a teasing grin on his face.

"What do you want?" Kurama said lazily. "How about we go back to your Tianxiang Mountain and settle this properly?"

"Settle it we will!"

Shukaku screeched, instantly transforming into a massive, earth-yellow tanuki. He laughed wildly.

"This place may not compare to my Tianxiang Mountain, but it's more than good enough as a battlefield!"

"You dare start a fight here?!"

Kurama's expression darkened. Then, as if rembering sothing, he turned toward the palace interior and shouted,

"Hey, kid! If you chase this thing away for , I'll go help you set up a fight with Naruto!"

"You can go find him now."

A cold voice echoed behind Shukaku.

A young man in a teal-blue, high-collared robe stood in front of Kurama, looking upward. His right eye glowed crimson—the Sharingan, three black tomoe revolving within concentric rings. His left eye was different: more concentric rings, and twice as many tomoe.

Sasuke Uchiha.

"Hahaha! This is rich!" Shukaku burst out laughing.

"The damn fox actually brought in an Uchiha for backup!"

Then Shukaku lowered his head. His forehead split open, revealing a blood-red eye, concentric rings reflected within it, six black tomoe clearly visible.

"Kid nad Sasuke—there's nothing you can do to . I'd advise you not to interfere in my feud with this stinking fox."

"We're on the sa level," Sasuke said calmly, nodding.

"I can't defeat you outright. But I can help him deal with you. So I suggest you leave."

Shukaku froze, then flicked his tail lightly.

"If you don't interfere, I can help you arrange a fight with Naruto too."

"Sorry," Sasuke replied flatly. "I've already agreed to help him."

"Hm?!"

Shukaku's voice thundered with anger.

"Aren't you afraid I'll go cause trouble for the Uchiha clan?!"

"Every mber of the Uchiha reveres the Nine Guardian Deities who founded Takamagahara," Sasuke said steadily.

"As one of those guardians, I believe you wouldn't harm them. Otherwise, all life in Takamagahara would be disappointed in you."

"…Good kid. You've got guts."

Shukaku shot Sasuke a fierce glare, then turned to Kurama—only to see him wearing a smug, gloating expression.

With a roar, Shukaku bellowed,

"Damn fox! I'll be back!"

His massive body vanished from before the palace gates.

"Hmph."

Kurama snorted. When he noticed Sasuke staring at him, he spoke:

"I've already inford Naruto."

Sasuke frowned. "What did he say?"

Kurama turned and walked back toward the palace.

"He told you to wait for him on Earth," Kurama said.

"But I think you shouldn't go."

Sasuke relaxed slightly, then shook his head.

"I know I'm not his match. I just want to test my strength."

"You really don't need to."

Kurama turned back, looking exasperated.

"All of Takamagahara is under Naruto's control. Your power was given by him in the first place. Can't you see the gap between you?"

"I see it clearly," Sasuke replied quietly.

"But I want to know what that guy is really thinking."

"I've known him for years," Sasuke continued.

"I've never understood any of his actions. He's the true master of Takamagahara, yet he gave the credit for saving the world to you Nine Tailed Beasts, retreating into obscurity himself."

"Other than us—and those from Spring Country—almost no one in this world even knows who he is."

Kurama rolled his eyes. "And what does that have to do with wanting to fight him?"

"You can only understand soone's true intentions in battle."

With a faint smile, Sasuke finished speaking and stepped into a pitch-black portal.

Earth

"You lost, pilot."

"That doesn't count!"

"Why doesn't it?"

"Damn it! This isn't the kind of fight I wanted!"

"You're an adult—stop acting like a sore loser. And I had plenty of ways to get in here: Flying Thunder God, Kamui, Anotejikara, and more. You shouldn't have used that move in the first place."

On the barren, cracked earth stood a purple Susanoo warrior hundreds of ters tall, raising a colossal blade.

Atop its head, inside a pentagonal crystalline space, Naruto rested one hand on Sasuke's shoulder, wearing a teasing smile. Sasuke stood rigid beside him, face flushed red, unable to move.

"This scene feels oddly familiar…"

Naruto glanced around, suddenly recalling the future fragnt he'd once seen in Shion's mories. With a chuckle, he withdrew his hand and stepped out of the crystal space.

"Since you're not convinced, I'll give you another chance. But this ti, you'd better state the rules clearly—otherwise, if you lose again and start whining like a kid, it won't sound good."

Sasuke's face alternated between red and pale.

"No space–ti ninjutsu!" he shouted.

"Oh?"

Naruto paused, turned slowly, and smirked.

"That tone sounds strangely familiar. Anything else?"

"Yes!"

A fierce glint flashed in Sasuke's eyes.

"No Yin–Yang Release! No Sage Mode! No sealing techniques! And no ninjutsu other than basic techniques!"

"Now I rember," Naruto said, gazing at the towering Susanoo as he transford into a giant of equal size.

"When you first challenged at age seven, you were just as confidently shaless."

"Enough talk!"

Sasuke roared. The colossal sword traced an arc through the air, and black flas erupted from the void, forming countless arrows that shot toward Naruto.

In the next instant, the Susanoo vanished—reappearing behind Naruto, swinging its blade horizontally toward his waist.

At the sa ti, the black arrows halted before Naruto, rging into a single mass of dark fire.

Just as the sword was about to strike—

Two enormous hands seized the Susanoo's wrists, and a massive fist slamd into its back.

Sasuke's pupils shrank.

Naruto had already transford into a three-headed, six-ard form.

Boom!

The purple warrior crashed into the ground, the earth collapsing outward.

Naruto planted one foot on its back. With a casual grab, the black flas flowed obediently into his palm, reshaping into a black spear.

Crack—crack—crack!

The sky darkened. Storm clouds spiraled into a massive vortex, lightning raging like silver serpents. Black lightning wrapped around both Naruto and the pinned Susanoo.

"So flashy," Naruto muttered.

One of his faces snarled as four arms lifted the Susanoo overhead.

A pillar of lightning connecting heaven and earth engulfed them both. The shockwave shredded the ground for kiloters around.

Monts later, Naruto and the Susanoo burst free, soaring into the sky—both now three-headed and six-ard, wielding different weapons as they clashed again.

Minutes passed.

Naruto suddenly withdrew, leaving the purple warrior behind.

Strangely, the Susanoo continued fighting—as if battling invisible enemies—six arms swinging wildly, weapons colliding with unseen foes in ringing clashes of steel.

"What kind of technique is this? A variant of Shadow Clones?"

Inside the crystal space, Sasuke's Rinnegan spun rapidly.

In his vision, over a dozen translucent Narutos surrounded him, attacking relentlessly. He couldn't strike them directly—only counter when they struck him—yet both his Rinnegan and sensory perception clearly detected them.

"Damn it… why can't I copy this?!"

Deep Space

In the endless void, a massive spherical teor drifted beside a blue-green planet.

After so ti, the teor's surface trembled. A circular aperture over ten ters wide opened, sealed by a curved, glass-like barrier.

Within it appeared a crimson sphere, reflecting the image of a black boorang-shaped pattern.

The sphere rotated erratically. Soon, the teor's surface opened like a honeycomb, and countless armored figures poured out, flying toward the blue-green planet.

Monts later, a black portal split open nearby.

Naruto stepped out, raised his hand, and summoned a star map.

"This planet is much smaller than the last one…"
