Listening to Momoshiki's, Isshiki's expression suddenly turned grave. "Then, I'll be counting on you."
Momoshiki was taken aback. "What are you trying to say?"
Isshiki smiled. "I have no other requests. I only want you to promise one thing: help kill Kaguya."
"As long as Kaguya is killed! As long as that woman is dead, I will have no regrets."
Sitting there silently, Momoshiki thought for a few minutes before finally nodding. "I promise you."
Hearing this, a smile appeared on Isshiki's face. "My power… use it well."
As he spoke, Isshiki's body suddenly changed, seeming to converge into a ball of energy, which then transford into a chakra fruit that fell to the ground. mbers of the Otsutsuki clan could transform themselves into chakra fruits. However, doing so ant giving up oneself, giving up everything.
Momoshiki picked up the chakra fruit and held it in his hand. "To think that the most selfish one of all would make such a great sacrifice in the end."
He swallowed the chakra fruit in one gulp. Momoshiki's eyes snapped open, and a terrifying power erupted from within him. From his current foundation, Momoshiki underwent another astonishing transformation. He was like a completely different person.
In an instant, a terrifying storm swept out, and the fluctuations emanating from Momoshiki's body grew even more astonishing. His ocular power seed to condense into a silver wave of light that continuously spread out from him.
"Is this the mature stage after awakening?" Momoshiki wondered, stunned.
In a daze, he seed to understand why the Otsutsuki clan forbade infighting among its mbers. It turned out that the fastest way for an Otsutsuki to increase their power was to prey on their own kind. By defeating and devouring a fellow clansman, the speed of their power increase would be astonishing. It was no wonder the Otsutsuki were scattered in different parts of the universe, with vast distances between them. If they weren't far apart, encounters between multiple Otsutsuki would lead to civil war. To beco stronger, mbers of the Otsutsuki clan would do anything.
Momoshiki felt his new power. In that mont, he even pinpointed Koshiki's fading presence. After Koshiki's presence disappeared, Momoshiki was stunned. Koshiki… is dead? And it seems he was also absorbed.
