Suddenly, Sasuke sensed a familiar presence.
It wasn't the presence of soone he knew personally, yet he distinctly recognized the aura of an Uchiha emanating from them. Furthermore, this individual... they shouldn't have ever appeared in Konoha before!
Could it be that soone from the Uchiha clan has arrived in this world because of the chaos?
The thought imdiately piqued Sasuke's interest. Arriving in this era due to the ongoing disturbance wasn't entirely unheard of, but the fact that the newcor was an Uchiha... that intrigued Sasuke deeply.
Who could it be?
"Sasuke!"
Naruto, too, had sensed the unfamiliar presence. If it were just anyone, it might not warrant such attention, but it was specifically an Uchiha!
"Hn. I'll go check it out."
With that, Sasuke vanished from sight. The Konoha shinobi present were unfazed; such sudden appearances and disappearances were standard procedure for soone like Sasuke.
Using Anotejikara, Sasuke instantly teleported to the vicinity of Itachi's ho. He spotted him standing in the backyard, observing Sarada. Judging by his back, the figure didn't look old, perhaps fourteen or fifteen years of age. Yet, his aura felt strong. Moreover, the fluctuations in his chakra indicated he had already awakened the Sharingan.
An Uchiha who had awakened the Sharingan... that narrowed it down significantly. There were only a handful of notable ones. Who is he?
The stranger was watching Sarada, and she was currently engaging him in conversation.
"Who are you?" Sarada asked. "You're wearing the Uchiha clan crest. Are you an Uchiha too? Why haven't I ever seen you before?"
The stranger offered a slight smile. "I am indeed of the Uchiha clan! But I haven't seen you before either. What's your na?"
"Sarada!"
"Sarada? Uchiha Sarada... Who is your father?"
"Uchiha Itachi! My dad is Uchiha Itachi!"
Hearing this, the stranger froze on the spot.
Itachi's daughter?
No wonder he felt a familiar presence from this young girl. And her ocular power... it was incredibly potent. Compared to the average Uchiha, she could already be considered a genius among geniuses. He had initially thought he might be dreaming or caught in soone's genjutsu. But now, it seed this wasn't an illusion; this was reality.
And apparently, the reality of the future!
"Where is your father?" he asked.
"Dad's on a mission. He already left Konoha!"
On a mission? It seems Itachi is still held in high regard.
He felt a sense of relief. The fact that the Uchiha clan still existed ant that future events hadn't unfolded as disastrously as he might have feared. Things seed relatively decent. Although the clan's numbers were greatly reduced, no longer qualifying them as one of Konoha's major clans, perhaps that was for the best. A smaller clan wouldn't attract as much suspicion or fear. The remaining mbers could live better lives.
A smile touched the stranger's lips.
It was then that Sasuke allowed his presence to be felt. When he first arrived, he had completely suppressed his aura, not letting even a hint escape. Now, he intentionally revealed it, wanting the stranger to notice him.
The mont the stranger sensed Sasuke's presence, he stiffened as if instantly paralyzed.
When...? When did he appear behind ?
Whipping around, the stranger stared at Sasuke. The instant their eyes t, it was as if he beheld sothing utterly unbelievable. He had never encountered such formidable ocular power! Uchiha Sasuke's visual prowess was arguably unmatched in the ninja world. The stranger's astonishnt was perfectly understandable.
"You..."
Before the stranger could utter another word, Sarada spoke up.
"Uncle Sasuke, you're back!"
Sasuke? He knew that na. This was Uchiha Itachi's younger brother! Uchiha Sasuke! To think he had grown into such a terrifyingly powerful figure.
"Are you the current head of the Uchiha clan?" the stranger asked.
Sasuke chuckled lightly at the question. "Strictly speaking, the Uchiha clan doesn't really have a designated head anymore. However, in the hearts of the other clan mbers, Itachi is likely considered the leader. They are all willing to follow his directives."
The stranger nodded. Itachi was indeed soone worthy of trust; it made sense that the clan mbers would respect him as their leader.
Sasuke's gaze sharpened, a glint appearing in his eyes.
"You... you must be Uchiha Shisui... correct?"
Uchiha Shisui! Sarada silently repeated the na. It sounded familiar, like she'd heard it sowhere before, but she couldn't quite recall where.
"You know ?" Shisui asked, surprised. When I died, Uchiha Sasuke should have been just a child, only a few years old!
"Of course," Sasuke replied with a faint smile. "The user of the most powerful genjutsu in the ninja world... hard to forget. Besides," he added, "I later ca into possession of your Sharingan."
Hearing this, Shisui's expression darkened slightly. Before his death, he had entrusted his eyes to Itachi. Did Itachi give my eye to his own brother? While not inherently wrong, it felt... strange to Shisui himself. As if his eyes were being passed around like gifts.
"I took your eye from Danzo's possession," Sasuke clarified. "Killing Danzo could be considered avenging you, I suppose."
Shisui's head snapped up, staring at Sasuke. He paused, stunned. Killed Danzo? Danzo was a Konoha elder! No matter the circumstances, if Sasuke killed Danzo, wouldn't that an...?
"At the ti, Danzo had betrayed Konoha and launched a rebellion," Sasuke explained, noticing the rapid shift in Shisui's expression and guessing his troubled thoughts. "I acted under the commission of the Fifth Hokage to eliminate him."
"I see... Thank you," Shisui said, relieved.
"No thanks are necessary. Ultimately, I did it for my own reasons." Sasuke hadn't expected that even Shisui would arrive in this era due to the chaos.
"But I should be dead... why am I...?"
"Co with to see the current Hokage of Konoha," Sasuke interrupted. "I'll explain on the way."
"Alright."
As Shisui and Sasuke prepared to leave, Sasuke glanced back at Sarada. His tone beca sowhat earnest. "Next ti you encounter a stranger, send a signal imdiately. These are unusual tis, understand?"
Sarada looked slightly exasperated. She wasn't an idiot; she hadn't sent a signal simply because she hadn't sensed any malice from Shisui. Everyone in the ninja world knew about the so-called chaos by now.
"I know!" she replied, adding under her breath, "Nagging Uncle Sasuke!"
Sasuke paused, taken aback for a mont. When did I beco such a nag?
Watching Sasuke's concern for Sarada, Shisui smiled faintly. Having family feels nice. A pang of sadness followed. Sadly... I no longer have mine.
Returning to the Hokage's office, when Shisui walked in alongside Sasuke, everyone present turned to look at the newcor with curiosity.
Another Uchiha!
"Sasuke, he is...?" Naruto began.
"Uchiha Shisui," Sasuke stated plainly, revealing Shisui's identity.
The mont the na "Shisui" was spoken, everyone in the office—except for the Sage of Six Paths and Hamura Otsutsuki, who remained impassive—froze in stunned silence.
"Another Uchiha genius!" soone murmured.
