At this mont, not only did Guy notice Sasuke activating his Sharingan, but Lee also stood there dumbfounded, staring at Sasuke's crimson eyes.
"This... this is the Uchiha's Doujutsu?!"
"Just like Neji, his eyes have unique, special changes!"
Although Lee didn't know much about the Sharingan, he was well aware that ninja with Doujutsu-based kekkei genkai gained enhanced perception when using their abilities.
In other words, their taijutsu would beco even stronger.
Where had he learned this? Naturally, from having a companion like Neji around.
There was no way Lee wouldn't know such basic information about Doujutsu kekkei genkai.
However, earlier, Sasuke hadn't even... hadn't used his Doujutsu at all. Did this an Sasuke didn't see Lee as any kind of threat?
The fight between Sasuke and Guy hadn't even started, but Lee already felt crushed.
Guy, too, felt a bit helpless. He hadn't expected this Uchiha kid to defeat his prized disciple in a direct clash without even using the Sharingan.
This kid's talent was overwhelming.
When had Konoha produced such a monster?
Neji's sharp eyes remained fixed on Sasuke's crimson Sharingan, his teeth clenched slightly.
"Against Lee, even without him removing his weights, I would have to activate my Byakugan just to clearly see his movents!"
"But this guy... he didn't even need to use his Sharingan!"
"Unbelievable!"
"Let's begin!" Sasuke declared. "Jonin Might Guy-sensei!"
Guy froze for a mont. Sasuke knew who he was?
But now wasn't the ti to focus on that.
Right now, he needed to restore his disciple's confidence.
To do so, Guy would have to overwhelm this so-called genius boy and defeat him with pure taijutsu. Otherwise, it wouldn't be easy for Lee to recover from Sasuke's shadow.
"I won't hold back!" Guy said firmly.
As soon as the words left his mouth
A blur!
In an instant, Guy's astonishing speed created shockwaves in the air.
The ten-ter gap between them was closed in a second.
Sasuke's Sharingan, now displaying two tomoe in each eye, spun rapidly. His insight was pushed to the limit. Even so, he could barely catch a faint glimpse of Guy's movents.
"So strong!"
"As expected of Konoha's Taijutsu Master, Might Guy!"
"This speed... Lee can't even compare to this."
In that mont, Sasuke had no choice but to evade. He opted for the safest escape possible.
He turned and dove to the ground, performing a quick roll.
At the sa ti, the shockwave of Guy's strike resounded, leaving even him slightly surprised that Sasuke managed to dodge.
Though the dodge was undeniably clumsy, the fact that Sasuke had evaded a serious attack from Guy was impressive.
It was already impressive.
However, it seed he should hold back a little. If he maintained this level of seriousness throughout, Sasuke might not be able to dodge and could end up seriously injured.
Guy had no intention of hurting Sasuke.
Bang! He took another step toward Sasuke.
This ti, Sasuke's Sharingan was able to see Guy's afterimages more clearly.
"Is he holding back?"
"Perfect!"
If Guy had maintained that terrifying level of intensity, Sasuke wouldn't have stood a chance. Let alone improving his taijutsu through battle.
Sasuke attempted to dodge again.
With a swift turn, he narrowly avoided the attack.
In the next second, Guy launched another strike.
He was slightly surprised by Sasuke's reactions. Extre evasions like this were exceptionally impressive for a genin.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Even though Guy had toned down his strength slightly, each of his strikes was still dazzlingly fast. One kick even struck the ground directly.
The ground imdiately erupted, leaving a small crater.
If that kind of power hit an ordinary person, it would result in instant death. Even for a ninja, a genin or chūnin struck by such an attack would likely be rendered incapable of fighting.
Guy's goal was to defeat Sasuke in a single, overwhelming move to help Lee regain confidence in his taijutsu.
However, he also didn't want to injure Sasuke. Balancing these goals inflicting a decisive blow while holding back enough to avoid serious harm was proving tricky for Guy.
This led to Sasuke performing a series of extre evasions.
Guy's commotion had already drawn the attention of nearby ANBU ninjas.
At that mont, even Kakashi, who wasn't far away, had arrived and perched atop a power pole, observing the situation closely.
When Kakashi saw the fight between Guy and Sasuke, he was visibly surprised.
"Why is Guy fighting this brat Sasuke?"
Bang!!!
Another strike from Guy, and once again, Sasuke narrowly avoided it.
After over a dozen attacks, Guy decided to increase his strength slightly.
If this continued, he wouldn't achieve the desired result.
Lee was eagerly anticipating the sight of his teacher defeating Sasuke.
But as he watched Sasuke evade over a dozen attacks in a row, his frustration grew.
Facing Guy's sudden acceleration, Sasuke felt the looming danger.
This wasn't a joke.
If he were hit by this blow, Sasuke felt he might be bedridden for days.
With a sharp backward leap, Sasuke pushed his speed to the limit.
But Guy simply smiled.
"Finally can't dodge, can you?"
When evading in a straight line backward, Guy only needed to take one more step forward to easily land a hit on Sasuke.
However, just as Guy was about to take that step, Sasuke suddenly raised his hands.
With astonishing speed, he ford hand seals.
In less than half a breath, Sasuke completed the sequence.
Seeing this, Guy's eyelid twitched slightly.
"This Uchiha kid... he even knows ninjutsu?!"
"Not good!"
The mont Guy saw Sasuke's cheeks puff up slightly, he quickly retracted his fist and spun around sharply.
Boom!
"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Jutsu!"
A surge of flas swept past Guy's side, racing forward at incredible speed.
In the blink of an eye, the extended flas reached over ten ters away, crashing into the distance.
The searing heat from the flas created waves of hot air that blew against the faces of Guy, Lee, and the others.
At that mont, Lee was utterly stunned.
"He... knows Fire Style too..."
Not only taijutsu, but even... ninjutsu... was this extraordinary?
Neji: "Such quick hand seals... he completed his jutsu before Sensei's attack could even land..."
Tenten: "So... strong!"
But the most astonished were Guy and Kakashi.
Only they could truly comprehend the level of proficiency demonstrated by that Fire Style technique.
Even most jonin couldn't execute a Fire Style jutsu of this caliber...
