I was feeling determined, the most determined I ever was, probably, like, I was here in my lab, seriously thinking, that today, I will decode the entire genetic sequence of the Otsutsuki, and make myself one...
But reality was often disappointing, I wasn’t so fabled genius scientist, nor did I have so system to help through, and it wasn’t like I could have just taken all their blood, and mix it, and voila Otsutsuki blood...
What I had to do was far too difficult, on a conservative scale, this might take years... probably decades...
And, I couldn’t realistically abandon everything and beco a researcher like Orochimaru, Tsunade would probably storm my lab and drag out...
So, I used another thod.
"You know, when just after our marriage, you suddenly asked to co with you, I thought it was so gift or maybe honeymoon plans, what are we doing in a lab?" Tsunade asked with a face that stood sowhere between puzzled and annoyed.
"I know, sorry about that, but just hear out, this is really interesting, and I want this to be a research project with just the two of us, for too important to involve anyone else..."
"Sigh...alright, what is it?" And she relented, so, my plans can begin.
"Well, rember when I was working on a project of the differences between a shinobi and ordinary human?" this was true, it was in this project in which I ’discovered’ DNA, and beca the most renown researcher in Konoha.
"Of course, the discovery of DNA, I know about it better than anyone else." She replied with a look of genuine pride on her face.
"So, yes, I went further into this research, the differences between the DNA of the ordain and the shinobi, and I found sothing interesting...
The shinobi DNA had sothing more in it, I call it the ’chakra factor’ a set of particular DNA, not found in ordinary humans.
Well, it didn’t exist at all in the distant past, sowhere around 1000 to 1200 years ago, the chakra factor suddenly appeared and mixed with humans, leading to the formation of shinobi.
To so extent, the strength of a shinobi can be determined by this shinobi factor..." well, I can’t just say the Otsutsuki na now, can I?
"What do you an by suddenly appearing, and how does this shinobi factor determine our strength?"
"Hmm, how to explain this, well consider this, about a millennia ago, a god suddenly appeared and decided to have children with human, the god’s powers were inherited by their children, and so the shinobi were born...
Now, the strange part is, except for so special families, where the god’s DNA is encoded deep within their genes, ordinary shinobi have less god genes, and it’s as if they were granted just the power of chakra which changed their body.
My hypothesis is, A god appeared on earth, fell in love with a human, and had children, they established a ho, and gave so humans the power of chakra to beco their soldiers.
Now, the direct descendants of the God comprise of special clans, which include, Senju, Uchiha, Hyuga, Kaguya, Hagoromo and the like...
As for the rest of the shinobi, they are the descendants of those soldiers who got chakra.
Now, the greater the chakra factor or god genes within their body, the higher the upper limit of their potential..." I explained it all with a straight face, even I was shocked at my bullshitting story making capabilities.
"How the fuck did you even figure that out?" Tsunade blurted
"Valid question, well, you see, out of all the samples I have studied, two have had the highest chakra factor and god’s genes within them, and they are,
Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha...
Their powers rather complent each other, like they are both missing pieces of a big zig saw puzzle...
Combined together, they would reach never before seen heights."
"How sure are you of this?" Tsunade now asked with a serious face
"One hundred percent. That’s why I called you here, I want to give it a try... recreate the god genes, and assimilate them into myself, and you..." Let’s see whether she agrees with that...
"It could be dangerous... but it doesn’t hurt to try... What do you think about this god of yours though?" And she did agree, now we can do human experints together. Couple goals.
"Hmm, according to my guess, the God... It’s sage of Six Paths, it has to be him..." Kaguya can’t be ntioned, since she has been all but erased from history, but the legends of Sage of Six Paths are popular.
"Are you sure that it’s not just a legend?"
"Legends do have so basis to them, and this one just got proved, so why not believe it for now.
I have understood so properties of the God genes, conservative estimations are, we would have more chakra than the tailed beasts, and we would beco immortal, also, the Rinnegan... maybe that too can be awakened." I tried coaxing her by greed, prospect of getting Otsutsuki genes was enough to corrupt anyone.
If it were Orochimaru in her place, he might get even more excited than , and he would probably betray too, so no Orochimaru on this project.
But I had another problem, even if I really do organize Otsutsuki genes, I need to customize them, for both Tsunade and myself, and once we are both immortals, only thing left to do would be either planning of how to fight Shibai Otsutsuki...
Or leave this world all together... I an, I have a slight inkling of a feeling that my rinnegan technique might just be one capable of travelling through worlds, since that is one of the things I desire the most...
And, fighting Shibai Otsutsuki is just plain scary... I would much rather escape to so other world with Tsunade, sowhere where we both would be overpowered, and we won’t have to worry about anything.
Sowhere... where we can spend our immortality together.
But all that is too far away to think about for now...
First there are shinobi wars, then there’s the probability of becoming Hokage, many things...
I can’t just waste my life and my pri years all on the possibility that I might one day be able to beco a true immortal, right?
I an, Orochimaru style immortality is still possible, but I am not a big fan of that path...
There’s a difference between surviving forever and living forever.
So, here we are again, back at square one.
"Alright, let’s do this... We will work on this project whenever we are free... It might take years, but I believe we will succeed..." Tsunade nodded, and smiled.
And so, the two newlyweds decided their first goal after marriage. To do human experints until they figure out a way to beco immortal and as strong as God.
