Danzo stood outside the combat area, staring fixedly at Sora who was wreaking havoc in the field like a demon god, his expression growing increasingly unpleasant.

He had originally thought that with over twenty elite Root mbers, along with various sealing techniques and secret arts, capturing Sora, who had just experienced a major battle and was not at full state, should have been a sure thing.

But he never expected that Sora’s strength would be so formidable to this extent.

After activating that peculiar semi-dragon form, his speed, power, and defense had all reached an unbelievable level.

The attacks from the Root ninjas landing on him could hardly cause effective damage, while every ti he made a move, it was inevitably accompanied by the fall of an elite Root mber.

’This brat... is even stronger than described in the intelligence.’

Seeing it with his own eyes was far clearer than a thin sheet of paper. Danzo felt both shocked and furious in his heart, with even more difficult to suppress greed.

’Such perfect power... I must obtain it.’

Seeing the elite Root mbers he had painstakingly cultivated falling down like wheat, Danzo knew he could not wait any longer.

He, a Kage level fighter, must personally take action.

"Useless. All of you, fall back."

Danzo roared angrily. His figure instantly disappeared from his original spot. When he appeared again, he was already close to Sora’s back.

His palm was covered with dense Wind Release chakra, forming an extrely sharp wind blade that silently stabbed towards the vital point on Sora’s back.

It was his specialty, "Wind Release: Vacuum Blade."

This attack was insidious and tricky, extrely fast. Moreover, it seized the mont just after Sora had repelled two Root ninjas.

’Success.’

A trace of ferocity flashed in Danzo’s eyes.

However, right at the mont he thought it would surely hit.

It was as if Sora had eyes on his back. The dragon tail covered with dragon scales lashed out like a steel whip, striking later but arriving first, accurately hitting Danzo’s wrist.

Crack.

"Ugh."

Danzo let out a pained groan. His wrist bent at a strange angle, and the condensed wind blade instantly dissipated.

Furthermore, the imnse force transmitted from the dragon tail sent him staggering back, almost making him fall to the ground.

"Lord Danzo."

Several Root ninjas were greatly alard upon seeing this. They could no longer focus on surrounding Sora and quickly flashed to shield Danzo in front of him, vigilantly staring at Sora.

Sora slowly turned around. Looking at Danzo, whose face was livid and who was clutching his wrist, the gaze beneath the Azure Dragon mask carried undisguised mockery.

’In the original story, you relied on Izanagi to trick many people. Too bad, right now, you haven’t obtained that many Sharingan yet, have you?’

Sora sneered inwardly.

The current Danzo, although his strength was also at Kage level, relied more on Wind Release and Root’s thods. Having lost Izanagi, his most bug like trump card, he was simply no match for Sora.

Danzo felt the intense pain coming from his wrist. Looking at Sora’s mocking eyes and the fallen Root corpses all around, the anger and humiliation in his heart almost threatened to consu him.

Since becoming the leader of Root, when had he ever suffered such a great humiliation.

To be so easily injured by a re teenager in front of his own subordinates.

"Sora."

Danzo squeezed out this na through gritted teeth. His eyes were bloodshot, filled with crazy killing intent.

"This old man will definitely tear you to pieces."

He knew he had miscalculated. Relying solely on himself now and the remaining Root mbers, it was already impossible to capture Sora.

However, he still had a trump card.

Danzo fiercely bit his thumb. His hands quickly ford seals, then he pressed them hard on the ground.

"Summoning Technique."

Boom.

A burst of white smoke, ten tis denser than an ordinary summoning technique, exploded. Accompanied by a low and strange hissing sound, a massive, chaotic, and pulling force instantly enveloped the battlefield.

The white smoke slowly dissipated, revealing a huge, peculiar creature with an elephant-like trunk and mysterious patterns on its body, Baku.

Danzo stood on Baku’s head, his eyes fixed on Sora.

"For this old man... swallow him."

Facing the colossal creature summoned by Danzo, Baku, the expression beneath Sora’s mask did not change at all. He even had ti to comnt.

’So this is Danzo’s Baku. Indeed much larger than that ’tanuki’ from back then.’

The huge trunk twitched, emitting a powerful suction force, trying to pull Sora over.

The ground around was filled with flying sand and stones. So smaller trees were uprooted and flew towards Baku’s dark, gaping maw.

The remaining Root ninjas, seeing this, perked up.

Once again coordinating with Baku’s suction force, they launched attacks from the flanks. Various ninja tools and binding ninjutsu were directed at Sora, trying to restrict his movent so he would be swallowed by Baku.

"Summoning Technique."

Sora, calm and unhurried, also ford hand seals with both hands and pressed them on the ground.

Poof.

White smoke flashed, and Tenji’s burly and majestic figure appeared.

As soon as it appeared, it felt the powerful suction and oppressive force from Baku. A fighting spirit ignited in its golden pupils.

"Master."

"Tenji, sa as usual."

"Understood. Pillar of Heaven, White Jade Column."

Tenji let out a low roar. Blue-gold light surged all over its body.

Hum.

Amidst the dragon roar like tallic tremor, the light converged. That massive pillar emitting ancient majesty once again appeared in Sora’s hands.

Holding the Pillar of Heaven, White Jade Column, Sora imdiately felt more confident.

He pushed off with his foot, lightning flashing. Instead of retreating, he charged forward against Baku’s suction force.

"Seeking death."

Danzo, standing on Baku’s head, seeing this, a trace of ruthlessness flashed in his eyes. He controlled Baku to increase the suction force while commanding the Root ninjas.

"Attack with full force. Do not let him get close."

However, with the Lightning Release Chakra Mode and the speed boost from the Six Gates, Sora’s speed was extrely fast. The Pillar of Heaven, White Jade Column in his hands swung open, carrying the force of ten thousand jun.

Bam. Bam. Bam.

Those ninja tools and ninjutsu attempting to block him, colliding with the swinging Pillar of Heaven, shattered like eggs hitting a rock, utterly unable to hinder him in the slightest.

In the blink of an eye, Sora had charged right up to Baku.

"Take this staff."

Sora shouted loudly. The muscles in his arms bulged. He swung the Pillar of Heaven, White Jade Column in a full circle, smashing it hard towards Baku’s thick elephant leg.

Baku also sensed the threat. It let out a low hiss, raising its huge foot to stomp down on Sora.

Boom.

Staff and foot collided, producing a deafening roar.

Baku let out a pained hiss. Its huge foot was smashed and abruptly lifted. Its massive body even shook slightly, obviously suffering a considerable loss.

The weight of the Pillar of Heaven, White Jade Column plus Sora’s super strength was not sothing easily withstood.

Sora was also shaken by the recoil, his arms numb and his qi and blood churning. But his eyes grew even brighter, his fighting spirit high.

’Indeed thick skinned and tough. However, that’s all there is to it.’

His figure did not stop. Using the recoil force, he agilely moved around to Baku’s side. The massive pillar in his hands smashed, swept, or stabbed, specifically attacking Baku’s joints and relatively soft vital spots like its abdon.

Baku’s body was huge, its strength astonishing, and its suction force bizarre. But its agility was ultimately sowhat lacking.
