Byakugan?

Genya wondered silently. Neji’s eyes had absorbed so much Byakugan power that they had the potential to evolve. If his own eyes could absorb Byakugan, could he also beco stronger?

His eyes were currently stuck at the six-tomoe stage. To awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan under normal circumstances, he would have to wait a long ti.

But this seed like a perfect opportunity.

If that was the case, it wasn’t impossible to give it a try.

"Genya, what are you planning to do?" Neji asked, full of shock. He looked at Genya, who appeared deep in thought, completely unable to guess his next move.

A faint sense of worry rose in Neji’s heart.

After all, the Byakugan of the Hyuga Clan was very different from the Sharingan. Even though he himself was the owner of the Byakugan, absorbing the power from others’ eyes had driven him into madness.

What if Genya acted recklessly? What if sothing went wrong?

As for taking the eyes of the main house mbers... Neji had long hated these arrogant leeches who always lorded over others, wishing he could wipe them all out.

The only reason he hadn’t acted yet was that he wanted to tornt them slowly, making them pay a painful price for their past deeds.

If their eyes could help Genya, that would be even better.

Taking their ocular power would be a way to make use of these useless things.

But Neji feared that Genya might repeat his mistake and fall into madness under the influence of this strange ocular power.

After all, Genya’s strength was imnse. If he lost control, no one present could stop him.

Even the entire Konoha could face destruction if his power went unchecked, consud entirely by battle.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine," Genya said softly, his gaze calm as he looked at the worried Neji.

"Your grudge will be avenged, your resentnt released. For so insignificant main house mbers, taking their ocular power will be enough."

He paused slightly, a cold glint flashing in his eyes as he added, "For so people, losing their eyes is far more painful than death."

As he spoke, the bone chains around Genya struck like black lightning toward the fallen, barely-living enemies.

Hum~~

In an instant, streams of unusual energy poured into Genya like flowing rivers, converging rapidly into his eyes.

Within this energy was both a violent, hellish aura and a pure, refined power that emitted a mysterious glow.

The brutal, bloody aura that touched Genya’s eyes was instantly refined by the roaring black flas, lting away like ice under the scorching sun, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

In the end, it all transford into pure energy, absorbed directly by Genya’s eyes.

If it were anyone else, this power would be unbearable, let alone being absorbed.

No wonder Neji had fallen into madness.

"It really can absorb energy and strengthen my eyes," Genya murmured softly, a spark of excitent flickering in his gaze.

At this rate, it wouldn’t take long before his eyes evolved once more, moving closer to the coveted Mangekyō Sharingan he had always dread of.

Suddenly, Genya’s eyes landed on Hinata.

With a thought, a chain of bones shot out like a venomous serpent, locking onto Hinata and piercing her shoulder directly.

"Ah~~"

Hinata couldn’t help but cry out, her voice filled with pain and shock.

Even Neji beside her felt his heart tighten, a jolt running through him. Hesitant, he spoke with difficulty, "Genya... that’s Hinata!"

He was terrified that Genya might lose control and absorb Hinata’s pure Byakugan as well.

But when he t Genya’s gaze, he found only clarity in his eyes, without a hint of madness.

"It’s fine. Hinata is just too weak, I’m giving her a little opportunity," Genya said with a calm smile, like the warm sun of spring, soothing and reassuring.

Then he gave Hinata a firm, steady look, as if telling her not to be afraid.

Hinata had always trusted Genya completely. Seeing the comforting gaze in his eyes, her racing heart cald instantly. She fell silent, watching him quietly, her eyes filled with curiosity and expectation.

Then Genya began focusing on absorbing the energy of the Byakugan, carefully transferring the refined energy to Hinata.

Perhaps Hinata truly possessed a bloodline talent. During the absorption, she unexpectedly absorbed the perfect Byakugan power of fifteen mbers of the Hyuga clan, reaching a state of saturation.

Because of this, even after absorbing so much ocular power, Hinata’s eyes remained clear and bright.

Yet, in her once-pure Byakugan, a faint blue tint appeared, as if undergoing a mysterious evolution, radiating a unique light.

Success!

Genya felt a surge of joy in his heart.

After that, the remaining eighty-six mbers ocular power were absorbed entirely by Genya alone.

At this mont, a strange radiance flashed continuously in Genya’s eyes. He could clearly sense that his own eyes were showing signs of evolution.

The Mangekyo... what an enviable and powerful ability.

He couldn’t help but imagine the unique four Mangekyo abilities he would possess once awakened.

"Genya... so you are the mastermind behind this tragedy?"

At that mont, the voice of the Eighth Elder of the Hyuga clan suddenly rang out, filled with intense fury, as if ready to devour Genya alive.

"You hid yourself so deeply!"

His voice trembled with emotion, his whole body shaking with rage.

He had seen the fight between Neji and Genya clearly. Genya had effortlessly subdued Neji, who had descended into madness.

Such overwhelming power—even if Hiruzen Sarutobi himself had been present—would be nearly impossible to match.

Yet Uchiha Genya had done it. His strength was beyond imagination.

It seed that Genya had deliberately hidden his true power all along, making even Hiruzen Sarutobi and the others underestimate him.

Heh... Hiruzen must still be in the dark, knowing nothing of Genya’s true capabilities.

"The mastermind?"

Genya finally turned to look at the Eighth Elder of the Hyuga clan, a faintly mocking smile curling at the corners of his mouth.

"I did not participate in the internal disputes of the Hyuga clan. Your main family’s downfall is purely the result of your own sins. You should never have hard Neji’s mother."

With this, Genya pinpointed the root of the matter.

"Heh... just a slave trapped in a caged bird seal, who would have thought soone could remove Neji’s caged bird seal!"

Most of his bones already broken, the fallen elder continued to ramble, eyes filled with unwillingness and resentnt.

"If Neji hadn’t freed himself, no matter how strong he beca, he would still have been a slave to the Hyuga main family, forever bound to obey us!"

As he thought this, the elder suddenly lifted his head, determination flashing in his eyes. He stared intently at Uchiha Genya and said seriously,

"Was it you who devised a way to undo the caged bird seal? It was you who removed the caged bird seal!"

His voice carried a hint of doubt, but more than that, certainty. He seed convinced that this deed was the work of Genya.
