"Neji, what are you talking about?"
A boy with a waterlon-shaped haircut suddenly popped his head out beside Neji and asked curiously, watching Neji whisper softly to himself.
They had graduated from the Ninja Academy last year and ford a team together!
But Neji was acting strange lately. Even though he trained hard every day, he had never gone on any missions—not a single one.
So even though Neji was really strong, he was still just an ordinary Genin.
"Nothing," Neji said with a bitter smile, shaking his head. His eyes grew serious, then he turned and walked away.
"Huh? What’s going on?" Lee looked at Neji with confusion flashing through his mind. "Where are you going?"
"To train!" Neji left that simple answer behind as he stepped outside the Ninja Academy.
However, inside, his feelings were complicated.
Hinata Hyuga still cared about the Branch family and Hiashi Hyuga’s guilt over Hizashi’s death would make him treat Neji better.
But those Main family mbers were stubborn and cold as ever toward their own.
The Main family always looked down from above!

Maybe that’s for the best. Hopefully, one day, they’ll feel the full fury of the Branch family!

Her tone carried a bit of provocation.
"Hmph, Sakura, do you really think there’d be one less threat if I stopped chasing after Sasuke?" Ino Yamanaka’s youthful, beautiful face showed a knowing expression, as if she saw through everything.
"Tch! I’m just saying you can’t win against , so you might as well give up." Sakura snapped, then continued, "Genya is really handso. Even though he has the Dual Pupil and can’t use ninjutsu yet, he’s the clan heir of the Uchiha. One day, he’ll lead the whole clan!"
Can’t use ninjutsu, has the Dual Pupil — to Sakura, those were Genya’s flaws.

But this loser was perfect to recomnd to Ino so she wouldn’t have to fight her over Sasuke.
"Since you say that, then why don’t you accept Naruto’s feelings? His talent is pretty good, and he’s sincere with you," Ino said from the side.

Sakura was montarily stunned, then said, "That’s not the sa. Naruto’s not as handso as Sasuke. Besides, I don’t like his personality!"

"Hmph. Then don’t bother . Even if Genya is handso, I’m not close to him."

Two young girls whispered quietly nearby. While they spoke, Genya noticed Ino glancing at him from ti to ti.
Ino was well aware that the tension between the Uchiha clan and the village leaders was growing deeper.
Although their Yamanaka clan appeared neutral on the surface, many elders in her clan had connections with Konoha’s high-ranking officials.
Being mature for her age, Ino clearly understood that she wouldn’t have much interaction with the Uchiha clan—neither with Genya nor Sasuke.

At this mont, every student was extrely focused.
One by one, students entered. So were happy; others were worried.
As ti passed,
It was finally Genya’s class’s turn. The first to take the test was Nara Shikamaru.
He yawned and walked inside.
"Good luck!" Genya called out to Nara Shikamaru.
On the night of the clan’s destruction, Shikamaru had kindly warned him, so Genya wanted to return the favor.
Shikamaru was surprised for a mont but then smiled at Genya and walked straight into the exam hall.
It was very simple!
Shikamaru was very talented and smart, so he passed easily!
Next ca the second, then the third.
Hinata, Sakura, Ino, and Sasuke entered one after another. As expected, they all passed the test.
Among them, Sasuke perford the best!
"Uzumaki Naruto..."
Finally, it was Uzumaki Naruto’s turn.
"Genya, I’m off to take the exam!" Naruto said cheerfully to Genya and swaggered into the classroom.
Behind him,
Whispers soon spread.
"Do you think this son of the Nine-Tails will pass the test?"
"Who knows?"
"He should be able to. I heard he’s a training genius at school, and his chakra is abundant!"
"The test is about ninjutsu, not just chakra amount!"
"Maybe it’s the Nine-Tails’ chakra then."
Everyone there was a little unhappy with Naruto. A Nine-Tails jinchuriki—does he even deserve to be a Konoha ninja?
"Heh, these people are really just frogs in a well," Genya thought with a mocking smile.
They were trapped in the well that Sarutobi Hiruzen had made, yet they dared to ridicule Konoha’s jinchuriki!
