"I'm not sure. It should be so unimportant task that Genya assigned him!"
The Anbu ninja shook his head. He wasn't sure what Genya had sent Senju Hayashi to do. Right now, the Anbu couldn't infiltrate the Uchiha clan.
Because of Uchiha Itachi's incident, the Uchiha clan had beco incredibly cautious.
This had caused the Anbu to be completely cut off from the Uchiha clan, and any attempt to gather information had to be done from a distance. However, he knew that a servant of the Uchiha clan wouldn't be sent on anything important.
To them, Senju Hayashi was just an insignificant person!
"An unimportant task?" Sarutobi Hiruzen muttered quietly, but then said, "If we go after him now, can we find that person?"
"Hokage-sama, what do you want to do?" The Anbu ninja was slightly startled, looking sowhat helpless.
"The Uchiha clan is up to sothing. They're showing signs of distancing themselves from Konoha's high-level leadership. We need to send a warning to the Uchiha!" Sarutobi Hiruzen spoke without hesitation this ti.
In fact, the smart ones had already guessed that the recent incident might be connected to him, so he didn't bother hiding the truth too much.
"Hokage-sama, you an...?" The Anbu ninja looked at Sarutobi Hiruzen, his eyes shining with understanding.
As an Anbu mber, it was ti to choose a side, and... aligning with the Hokage was the best choice. By contributing to Konoha, one could quickly rise in both Konoha and the Anbu.
No... it was about contributing to the Hokage.
"I'll ask you first—can you track down Senju Hayashi's whereabouts?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked. This was, of course, to gauge the person's reaction.

Looking at the Anbu ninja, he didn't need to finish the sentence.
"Don't worry, Lord Hokage, I'll make him talk, and this operation won't be leaked!" The Anbu ninja understood, speaking seriously.
"Go then!" Sarutobi waved his hand, signaling the Anbu ninja to leave. "I'll be waiting for good news!"
As the Anbu ninja was leaving, Sarutobi reminded him, "Rember, don't send any mbers of the Sarutobi clan!"
Sarutobi was still concerned that the black-clad assassin might target Sarutobi clan mbers.
"Understood." The Anbu ninja finished, his face flushed. Once this mission was completed, he would be in close favor with the Hokage.
After leaving the Hokage's office, he went directly to the Anbu headquarters.
He gathered a tracker ninja and two combat ninjas in a room, whispering in secret.
"Rat, what did you call us here for?"
"This ti, an Uchiha ninja is leaving the clan. Lord Hokage wants us to capture him and gather so secrets about the Uchiha clan!" Rat briefly explained the situation.
However, he didn't ntion that the Third Hokage had ordered him to kill the kid!
"He's an outsider; what could he possibly know?" The tracker ninja said, unimpressed. He wasn't particularly interested in an outsider from the Uchiha clan.
"He's soone who's been around Uchiha Genya. He should know sothing!" Rat said.
"But..." Another person hesitated. "No matter how you put it, they're still an outsider from the Uchiha clan!"
"I'll put it this way, it's the Third Hokage's order!" Rat reminded again. "Are you going or not?"
The group was stunned, but their expressions showed hesitation.
If it was an order from the Third Hokage, they had no choice but to go.
"Let's go," the tracker ninja finally nodded first. The other two followed suit, agreeing.
There were four of them in total. Three were Jonin, and the tracker ninja was a Chunin, but a top-tier Chunin.
After the discussion, the four left the Anbu headquarters and headed outside of Konoha.
However, after they left, a ninja with one eye covered walked into a room. It was none other than Kakashi.
He had been resting in his room when he hadn't expected to be caught up in sothing like this:
"The Third Hokage's order, to track down a ninja sent by the Uchiha clan, or soone close to Uchiha Genya. Could it be Senju Hayashi?"
He thought about the ti when Hayashi had been training alongside Might Guy. Might Guy had ntioned to him that his disciple had imnse talent and would definitely surpass him.
It seed like Rat and the others were targeting Hayashi!
Thinking about it, Kakashi furrowed his brows. No matter what, he and Might Guy had a good relationship, and if possible, he wanted to help Hayashi.
But how could he help?
Thinking this, Kakashi also left the room.
Unknowingly, he found himself walking toward the Uchiha clan's direction, and on the way, he happened to et Genya and the others, who had just finished their training.
The two t at an alleyway.
"Kakashi?" Genya was surprised.
Why would Kakashi be here? Given Kakashi's personality, he shouldn't be monitoring the Uchiha clan.
"Genya." Kakashi, who was thinking about how to break the silence, relaxed when he saw Genya. "Genya, did you send soone on a mission today?"
"Mission? Are you talking about Hayashi?" Genya looked at Kakashi, his tone questioning. "Yes, I did send him out for a small mission this morning. Is there a problem?"
"He might be in danger. You should recall him!" Kakashi's expression beca serious, hoping to make Genya understand the gravity of the situation.
"Oh? Are several people planning to attack Hayashi?" Genya looked at Kakashi seriously, and in his heart, he gained so respect for Kakashi.
The fact that Kakashi ca to inform him showed sothing already! As for who might go after Hayashi, he had already guessed—it was Sarutobi Hiruzen.
"Uh?" Kakashi didn't expect Genya to be so calm. Hearing Genya's indifferent response, Kakashi quickly added, "Aren't you going to tell your father? They've sent three Jonin and a tracker ninja!"
Kakashi was truly surprised. Genya, at such a young age, was so calm after hearing this news! Wasn't he worried about Senju Hayashi?
"Three Jonin? Let them go, I believe Hayashi can handle it!" Genya, hearing Kakashi's words, spoke in a relaxed tone. "Thanks for the warning, I'll find a chance to thank you."
With that, Genya didn't speak much more with Kakashi and directly walked toward his clan.
He couldn't talk to Kakashi for too long; it wouldn't be good for either of them.
"Heh, interesting!" Kakashi watched Genya's retreating figure, chuckling to himself. But suddenly, as he looked at Genya's small figure, his brow furrowed.
That figure seed strangely familiar...
