Facing Might Guy's attack, Genya watched as his opponent's figure lood larger and larger, nearly filling Genya's entire vision.
The attack was getting closer!
If I really get hit by this knee, I'll be down for at least half a day, Genya thought.
At that mont, Might Guy was considering whether to hold back.
But before the decision could be made, Genya's body moved quickly. He braced his small hands on his knees, bent his arms slightly, and managed to absorb the impact of the terrifying force. In a swift motion, his body retreated three ters, landing steadily on the ground.
"The speed of that attack was incredible!" Genya was a bit shaken. This was his first ti facing off against a ninja.
"You have quick reflexes and good balance," Might Guy praised, nodding in approval. "But in your first fight, you may not have fully taken advantage of the opportunity. Still, that was really impressive!"
"Alright then, let's keep going!" After a brief pause, Genya charged forward again.
Due to his young age and small stature, Genya's fighting options were limited. He could only jump up and aim for Might Guy's chest.
In response, Might Guy defended himself with simple, controlled movents.
My age and height are really holding back, Genya realized.
His fighting abilities wouldn't be fully developed until he was at least seven or eight years old. At his current age, unless he had overwhelming strength, he'd always be at a disadvantage.
The battle continued with a series of blows exchanged between Genya and Might Guy—a clash of pure Taijutsu.
Genya's small figure darted left and right in front of his opponent, searching for an opening.
"There's a flaw!" Genya suddenly spotted a weakness in Might Guy's defense as he attacked. He twisted his body and swiftly aid a kick at Might Guy's lower abdon.
"Konoha Whirlwind!"
"Oh no, I let my guard down!" Might Guy realized too late that Genya had caught him off guard.
However, at the sa ti, Might Guy landed a punch squarely on Genya's chest.
Bang! Bang!
Two heavy sounds echoed.
Genya's kick connected, causing Might Guy to stumble back a couple of steps.
But at the sa mont, Genya was also knocked away by the punch. His body spun three and a half tis in the air before he crashed to the ground.
When he landed, his feet were just at the edge of a cliff!
One more step, and he would have fallen off.
"That was close!" Genya finally smiled, clutching his chest. He took a few steps forward before collapsing onto the ground, exhausted.
"I won!" he declared triumphantly.
"I was careless just now!" Might Guy's face showed a bit of frustration. Being pushed back by a three-year-old was not sothing he'd proudly share with others.
"But you still lost!" Genya retorted, looking at Might Guy. "Starting today, you can't make wear those green tights all day!"
He really didn't want to wear the green tights!
"These tights are stylish! You just don't understand fashion!" Might Guy exclaid, admiring his own outfit. He didn't think they were ugly at all. In fact, he found them quite appealing. "THE POWER OF YOUTH!!"
"Ugh~ Don't compare to you!" Genya said, rolling his eyes, clearly unimpressed by Might Guy's strange fashion sense.
After a mont, Genya glanced up at the sky. His chest still ached from the sparring match, and he wasn't in the mood for more training.
It was the perfect ti to head ho for dinner.
"Do you want to set up so weights for you tomorrow?" Might Guy called out as Genya walked away.
"No need, I'll ask my dad to buy them!" Genya waved goodbye and headed ho.
His father, who worked at the Chamber of Comrce, was still busy, but his mother had prepared a delicious al for him. However, during dinner, Senju Yumi noticed Genya clutching his chest and asked, "Genya, what's wrong with your chest?"
"It's nothing. I sparred with Might Guy and took a punch!" Genya grinned. It did hurt, but he was pleased with the day's events.
Finally, he had so real fighting ability.
If he faced a Genin, he might even stand a chance.
"Might Guy hit you?" Hearing this, Senju Yumi's eyebrows shot up. She doted on her son, and the thought of soone hitting him made her furious.
She was ready to confront Might Guy.
Genya quickly realized his mother misunderstood and hurried to explain, "I challenged him! And I didn't lose! I even managed to kick him!"
"Genya, don't spar with him again. He's tough and doesn't know his own strength. Let see your injuries." After dinner, Senju Yumi tended to Genya's wounds, her face full of concern, while giving him motherly advice.
But Genya tried to dodge the topic.
How can he beco stronger if he doesn't keep challenging himself?
"Mom, I'm heading back to my room!" Genya finally had enough of his mother's nagging and decided to retreat to his room.
Just as he was about to leave, she called out, "Your father had his secretary send over a box for you. He said it's sothing you wanted!"
Genya knew his father well enough to understand what kind of items he sent. He took the box and headed to his room.
Opening the elegant box, he found only a few sheets of paper inside.
"Is this the paper for testing chakra properties?" Genya picked up one sheet and examined it closely. He noticed a "VIP" label in the corner, making him smirk. His father was so extravagant that even a simple piece of paper for testing chakra had a VIP designation.
Since he was now able to perform ninjutsu, he wanted to see the properties of his chakra. He held the chakra test paper in his hand and began channeling chakra into it. The paper started to change shape.
To Genya's surprise, the paper ford five distinct lines, each representing a different chakra attribute!
The outermost fifth of the paper was cut open, showing the wind attribute chakra.
The area next to it turned to powder, indicating the earth attribute chakra.
Another section crinkled, revealing the lightning attribute chakra.
Yet another part was burned by fire, while the edge was soaked in water, representing both fire and water attributes.
All five basic chakra attributes were displayed on this one piece of paper, which was quite impressive.
"Wow, this VIP Chakra test paper is really sothing. It can test all different attributes of chakra at once!" Genya thought, appreciating his father's wealth. It really was nice to have such resources!
This also confird Genya's current chakra attributes. Along with the five basic elents, there are also the yin and yang attributes found in everyone's body, making a total of seven attributes. Genya now possessed all the basic chakra attributes of the ninja world.
"Most ninjutsu techniques in the ninja world can be learned on your own!" Genya's eyes sparkled with curiosity, though he was still a bit puzzled. "Is my full-attribute chakra the result of practicing the Infinite Chakra World technique, or was I born with it?"
After pondering for a mont, he shook his head. If he couldn't figure it out now, he'd just have to think about it later!
He decided to focus on his practice for now.
He continued to refine his Infinite Chakra World.
Ti passed quietly, and in the blink of an eye, five months had gone by.
