"Go go Oliver! I am pretty busy." The king did not bat an eye at Rae. Seeing that Oliver was the boy's relative, the king ignored Rae's disrespect of not greeting him and permitted Oliver to leave.

"Let's go Rae! We need to catch up!" Oliver smiled as he put his hand on Rae's shoulder and walked away from the king in a very friendly manner.
He was walking towards a secluded space for both of them to talk, hoping that his fears would not co true.
They reached the secluded room where only Rae and Oliver were standing. Oliver was making small talks, trying to gauge Rae's intentions.
"So? You are not going to talk?" Rae asked as he looked Oliver into eyes. His voice was rough, sounding impatient.
"Talk? Am I not talking?" Oliver said, showing a flattering smile on his face.
'What does he an by not talking? Does he want to directly discuss our involvent in the kingdom?' Oliver asked his demon partener in his mind.
'He wants you to talk about or it's more like he wants to do the talking, not you.' The demon vaguely answered. He was not very sure himself if the opponent in front of him knew about his coexistence with Oliver or not.
'What do you an? Is he able to spot you? I thought he was thinking of as a demon?' Oliver asked his demon partner in confusion. From the beginning of their conversation, Oliver had presented himself as the demon and not as a human who was coexisting with a demon.
So, Oliver believed that Rae would be unable to spot the demon in his body. Since, most of the high level nobles were unable to do so.
'I don't think he is able to spot but I am not really sure either!!' The demon replied to Oliver, though, he was beginning to realise that the young man in front of him could be a difficult opponent.
"I thought you were being sincere?" Rae said as he pressed his finger at shoulder joint of Oliver and fired a small but hard physical construct, the attack pierced through Oliver's bones with ease, causing him to scream in pain.
Rae had been keeping his spell on his eyes activated. The ability to see through things and different types of energy had allowed Rae to spot the demon like energy inside Oliver's body from the very beginning of their conversation.
Rae was even able to see the spot, the exact location where the demon was residing inside Oliver's body.
He decided to attack the spot very close to where the demon was positioned. His intention was very clear in doing so, to make them aware that he could see it all, a warning to be sincere.
"You!!!" Oliver cried out in pain, his face full of anguish. They were just talking and the demon in front of him just attacked him out of nowhere.
He could not even react to the attack, the fact that the distance between them was only a re ter had faded from Oliver's mind.
'He attacked exactly there!! He knows!!' Oliver urgently said to the demon, his mind was full of fear, a very dangerous attack had just pierced through his body and he could not react.
'He does! Let's switch. I should talk to him directly.' The demon replied with a stiff voice, demanding to switch out with Oliver. The demon himself was surprised by the opponent's sharp senses.
"Broher, you also require blood essence for your training, no? Why don't we share the resources?" The demon switched with Oliver and took control of the body. He directly made a proposal to Rae, not wanting to negotiate at all.
'I have been alive for two centuries but this guy... He seems to be a fledgling compared to .' The demon could sense things with better precision when he was in the direct control of the body.
Once he switched, he realised that unlike him who was very old and weak too, the demon in front of him was really young.
'His vitality!! I can't be mistaken. He is one of those persistent bastards. Impossible to be killed by surprise attacks, hard to beat in one on one fights!! A vampire.'
The demon realised that the vitality of his opponent was very potent. So, he analysed further and from his century of experience, he recognised the familiarity from Rae's aura.
He found out that Rae was a Vampire bloodline from the demon. His intentions to take out Rae in a fight or to prepare a ploy against Rae faded away from his mind.
"I am a Gu demon. I cannot train with normal resources. You are of a vampire bloodline, why don't we trade?" The Gu demon inside Oliver decided to co out clean. There was no way he was going to win against Rae, at least not with his current strength.
So, the Gu demon decided to partner up with Rae. Anyways, there was no lack of resources in the kingdom. To his knowledge, only him and Rae were in the kingdom.
The kingdom was more than enough for two demons to grow stronger and reach level five. So, there was no need for him and Rae to fight out.
"What trade?" Rae asked after listening to the demon inside Oliver. If the trade was to his satisfaction then he would comply.
"You leave alive and protect from the Counts, and I would provide you with all the assistance a King can." The Gu demon spoke with a smile. He already had the king and most of the nobles under his control.
He just wanted to grow stronger in peace. So, he decided to propose Rae to be his protector to get assistance in case one of the Counts get to know about him controlling the king.
"Don't you already have control over the nobles?" Rae asked curiously, from what he has been told by the queen. The demon had the majority of the nobles under his control.
Though, she was unaware of the demon's intentions. She had realised it long ago that her faction could not win against the king's. There was absolutely no chance of this happening.

"I do, but that is the case for nobles of low level. Soone of Count's level, I can only control so of the mbers under them." The Gu demon confided, it was true that he had most of the decision makers under his control, but the strong ones were outside his control.
If he really did have them under his control then what was the need of letting the queen have considerable power? He could just beco the new king and enjoy all the resources.
But he could not do so because if he decided to discard all the pretense then the Counts would co together and take action against him.
"In short, Counts are too powerful to be controlled." The Gu demon said to Rae, looking at him for his response.
*What about the king's hidden forces?" Rae asked once again. He thought of queen's words, according to her the hidden forces was either a rumour or just uninterested in these things but what about the demon who had been controlling the king?
Shouldn't the demon know about the hidden forces of the royal palace after getting the king under his control?
"He.." The Gu demon muttered hesitatingly.
"Okay, I will tell you this. He would not be involved in the matters of kingdoms, as long as no killings happen." The demon decided to not show all his cards to Rae. The opponent was a vampire who is hard to kill but he himself was not one.
The Gu demon were famous for associating themselves with a target and then growing stronger from consuming them. He was not a tenacious demon like that of a Vampire and could be killed if Rae wanted to.
'If we tell him that then he would only be alerted if soone calls for that person then it would be disadvantageous for us. Let him assu that the king and others are needed to be alive.' Oliver also suggested this to the Gu demon.
The person behind king and the royal palace was slightly under their control but both the demon and Oliver decided to share half truth with Rae. It was their only sense of protection against Rae.
"You don't need anything other than the blood essence of humans?" Rae had decided to accept the Gu demon's proposal even though he was aware that there were so hidden details that the opponent has decided to not share.
"No, nothing as long as you don't trouble ." The Gu demon reassured Rae with a smile. He only needed blood essence for his growth and he had enough of them from the warriors in the royal palace. So, as long as Rae decided to not trouble him, he would be fine.
"Alright then, it's settled. I want you to hand over your power to the queen. She will be the new ruler." Rae proposed his side of deal, and his voice was confident, showing that his offer was absolute, an ultimatum!
