He was worried that as long the tide was caused by players, players would be asked to shoulder the responsibility of defending the town alone.

Yet the ga wasn't so harsh and cold blooded after all.

"Go towards a different direction," Bloom instructed, "go to the other end of the town and level up there."

He knew the main task force here was focusing at the main gate of the town, leaving the rear empty for anyone to fight freely there.

"What about you?" Antoan asked.

"I've been dealing with this mayor, so don't mind ," Bloom said before pressing faster to the front, leaving Antoan and his team to return back.

This ca as great news for the stalking teams, which were mistaken as teams coming to aid in the tide by Antoan and others.

If he knew their true intentions, he wouldn't have left his master all alone facing them.

"You are coming to aid?" Anna said when she spotted him from far and stopped in front of the town gate until he reached her. "That's really comforting to have you around."

"Thanks mayor," Bloom simply said in respect while the fiery gazes of Tondel were showering him nonstop. "we need a solution to fix this problem."

"The tide you an?" Anna muttered in surprise, "I never thought of that. Let think I believe there was so sort of a heavenly treasure that can repel any monsters from the proximity of the town."

"A treasure?" Bloom sniffed the scent of a quest and the next mont Anna nodded as she explained:

"It's the remaining horn of a dead dragon. All monsters fear dragons and having such a horn would help in removing these annoying tides away."

Bloom grinned while the sound of system notification alerted in his ears the next mont.

"System alert: The Swor city mayor is asking you to bring the horn of the dead dragon here and help in repelling the monsters away and removing any future tides. Do you accept?"

"It would be my pleasure to deal with this task, if you wish," Bloom answered and his words were taken as approval by the ga system.

"Great, then I'll hand this map to you," Anna took out a map and added, "I recall my father said there was once a dragon slain nearby the town lands. You can use this old map to find your way to it, but I can't guarantee things will be the sa as it's written on the map."

"System alert: Player has accepted the quest."

"System alert: Player gained the old map of Anna's father, a very dear item of Anna and a crucial item to the quest. Please don't lose or damage it or else your favorability with Anna will decrease a lot."

"System alert: The quest of finding the dragon horn is issued successfully to the player.

Quest grade: Red grade quest.

Quest details: Long ti ago a dragon terrorized these lands and spread fear in the souls of every living being around. Now after long years of killing it, the dragon will have a chance to spread fear once more, this ti inside the souls of the dark era monsters.

Use the map given to you by the Swor city mayor and make sure to find the horn before you exceed level thirty. Doing the quest after level thirty will give you rewards halved.

Quest ti: open.

Quest failure: The monster tides from now on will be doubled in severity until you succeed. Increasing the strength of the tides will destroy the town in less than one week.

Ruining or losing the map will make Anna mad.

Quest reward: repelling the tide and making the grounds around regain its forr true state. In return any experience gained here will have double the amount, any loot dropped by monsters will be enhanced to drop gears at a much higher rate.

Simply put; this town will turn to be the heaven of players in the tis of darkness."

"Indeed it is," Bloom couldn't help but laugh when he read the description of that quest.

"Everything is alright?" Anna asked.

"Sure," he stored away the map, "I'll make sure to get this done as soon as possible."

"I depend on you for that," she said before turning to the incoming monsters, "these dark bastards are getting bolder with ti."

"I'm sure we can handle this wave," Bloom said before Anna nodded to him. "I'll go now, keep up if you want," she moved fast while Bloom didn't hurry to chase after her.

"My experience needs to be adjusted," he muttered as he knew going to such a place would require killing a lot of monsters.

And that would get him closer to exceed level thirty. "Should I die once then?" he seriously considered this. Strangely how his mind changed in re minutes from trying his best to reach level thirty and now he didn't want to.

Just as he was lost in thought, many players suddenly jumped on him from behind. "What the hell?" he was taken by surprise, yet the next mont he used his speed to evade most of the attacks, but not all.

"-1000"

"-500"

"-2500"

"-3000"

"-1250"

Long row of damage appeared on top of his head taking away almost half of his Hp. "Damn! Sneakily attacking from behind?" he cursed while taking one bottle and gulped it without thinking.

"Kill him," one player shouted.

"Don't let him recover," another used his sword to stab Bloom, yet he was faster to et it with his sword.

"Thinking I'm a pushover or sothing?" he sneered before he took out all of his four swords. "Sword tornado!"

The next mont the four swords rose high in the air and started throwing off all players they hit all around. In re monts the area in front of him returned its vacancy and he had ti to adjust.

"My turn," he didn't even wait for the four swords to finish their skill as he took out another two and pointed them towards the players up front. "Dash!" he jumped directly to hit one player and sent him flying, "Dash," and he linked it with another dash before starting a spree of stabs.

Even a single wave of his sword threw any player off balance and made the area around him covered literally by flying players with high damage on top of their heads.

"Use your pets," a player was so scared that he scread, "don't let him reach you, fast!"

Bloom sneered in return while watching over a hundred pets appearing around. "Is this all you got? Damn! I thought they sent elites but eventually they sent only cannonfodders!"

He waved his hand and the next instant hundreds of high level pets appeared and roared in unison. This created a shocking scene for all the players watching this fight from a distance, as a brutal massacre erupted the next minutes.

"Sigh, they don't even worth using these potions," Bloom was dejected as the loot he got from these players was really unworthy to ntion. Even the potions falling there were all low grades and the gears were all level twenty and lower.

"At least I can salvage so gold coins and materials out of these," he stored everything before turning around and glancing at the distant players. "Any more? Anyone wants to lose a hard earned level for nothing?" he shouted and he didn't know this was being broadcasted all over the forums at the mont.

And his declaration wasn't only directed towards the players here, but all the players watching felt a cold shiver down their spines when they heard his words.

A monster that was what all realized when glancing at him, making them all regain the old mory of his old identity lively again in their minds.
