The artistic Odilia was reading with Wayne while Regina occasionally glanced toward the library’s staircase, her eyes filled with anticipation.
Before departing, Wayne had inford Regina in advance, who had requested to et her sister imdiately upon touchdown to quell their longing.
Having experienced the Inverted World, Wayne readily agreed.
Regina had set the eting place in the library, waiting for her twin sister, while Wayne ntally contacted Saina, waiting for her arrival.
Clatter, clatter, clatter!
The urgent sound of footsteps arose, and Regina’s face lit up as a fragrant breeze passed by, and two figures embraced each other.
“Nelson!”
Regina, holding her sister, jumped and frolicked, the latter also displaying a face full of joy, their almost identical faces pressed together, indistinguishable as to who was the elder and who was the younger.

Nelson originally represented the Prussian sector, along with her sister Regina, in the Holy Maiden selection of the Naturalism Church, but Wayne and Veronica took the spots reserved for Lundan, causing the forr Holy Maiden Flora to reluctantly return under Pope Ludwig’s command.
Ludwig used his own thods to replace Nelson with Odilia.
Afterwards, Ludwig hinted Flora to cover tracks by silencing both Odilia and Regina, only for Wayne to pass by and turn them into his own Resentful Spirits.
Nelson was unaware that her sister had risen from the dead, warm and still with a heartbeat, certainly not deceased.
She only knew Regina had been embroiled in the high-level strife of The Church during her selection, first with a bounty issued on her by The Church and then, after the bounty was rescinded, she was expelled and no longer a mber of the Naturalism Church.
Regina went as far as Lundan, working in a library, no longer identifying herself as a Mage.
Since the Holy Maiden selection, the sisters had only seen each other twice; Nelson, worried her sister was suffering alone abroad, inquired briefly, then advised her to return to Prussia for a job.
“With international situations unstable, only our Prussia is safe; everywhere else is getting pounded.
Trust , don’t go back to Lundan, what if war breaks out there?”
“If war breaks out, I’d be in Prussia again.”
“…”
That makes sense!
Nelson, internally distressed and unsure how to persuade her sister, noticed Wayne and Odilia, who were reading, her light purple eyes flashing with a trace of brilliance.

They look well-matched.”
Odilia looked up, catching the key words and flooded Nelson with praise, showing a gentle smile.
Like to hear it, say more.
“Yeah, the boss is her boyfriend.”
Regina nodded along.
She was very clear on Odilia’s situation; she could have been with Wayne, becoming one of many wings, but due to changing to a Resentful Spirit, with clear hierarchical distinctions, it was no longer possible to beco equals as lovers.
A definite tragedy!
Although Wayne had always taken great care of Odilia, sharing anything fun or tasty with her first, typically accompanying her on dates to see movies, and stroll through libraries, this care was that of a Superior showing pity to an inferior, never able to return to what used to be, having long since lost its original flavor.

Regina nodded, seeing her sister’s dubious expression and quickly explained, “The boss is really nice, takes great care of , not only promoted to secretary and doubled my salary but also frequently gives pocket money, accompanies shopping for clothes, jewelry, and bags; this outfit I’m wearing was gifted by him.”

“Regina, our family is wealthy, you don’t need to work for anyone to live well,” Nelson emphasized.
She finally saw that it wasn’t Odilia who turned her sister away, it was Odilia’s boyfriend, Wayne.
