"How many casualties are there right now?" Yun Huanxin asked.

There were nurous battlefields across the Primal Chaos. The Misty Cloud Sect's disciples had scattered all over the place, fighting on the front line all this ti.

"Two hundred and sixty-one," Yun ilan said in a deep voice.

Yun Huanxin's expression turned solemn. No matter how strong the Misty Cloud Sect's disciples were, it was impossible to suffer zero casualties in such a large-scale battle.

She exhaled and said, "What about Lintian?"

Yun ilan shook her head. "There's no news. We can't enter the Netherworld. Soone must have blocked it."

Yun ilan's guess wasn't far off. To ensure that Yun Lintian couldn't be distracted, Si Junyi had sealed the entire Netherworld, preventing people from going in.

"Do you think…?" Yun Huanxin asked with a hint of worry.

Yun ilan shook her head. "You probably have no idea about Lintian's current strength. Aside from the God of Ti, no one can be his opponent, let alone the God of Death's inheritor."

Yun Huanxin frowned slightly. She truly wanted to know what was happening to Yun Lintian at the mont.

"Let's go back first," Yun ilan said and was about to take Yun Huanxin away.

Suddenly, Tang Zhen's body twitched, and a black chaotic aura began to wrap around him.

Yun ilan's grip on her dagger tightened the mont Tang Zhen's corpse twitched.

Yun Huanxin, still nursing her wounds, instinctively raised her spectral blade. The air grew heavy, thick with the scent of corroding reality.

Tang Zhen's body convulsed, his limbs snapping and twisting at unnatural angles. Black veins pulsed beneath his skin, spreading like cracks in glass. His flesh lted and reford, bubbling with chaotic energy.

Then—

CRACK!

His spine arched violently, bones breaking and reshaping. His skin darkened, hardening into jagged plates of obsidian-like armor. His face elongated, mouth splitting into a grotesque maw lined with teeth like shattered blades. His eyes—once human—were now pits of swirling chaos, pulsing with malevolent light.

The transformation took only seconds.

What stood before them was no longer Tang Zhen.

It was a creature of pure chaos.

Yun Huanxin exhaled sharply. "This is bad."

Yun ilan didn't respond. She was already moving.

Her dagger flickered, cutting through the shadows like a whisper. The blade aid for the creature's throat—

CLANG!

A clawed hand intercepted, gripping the dagger mid-air. The creature's head tilted, its maw stretching into sothing resembling a smile.

Then it squeezed.

CRACK!

The dagger shattered.

Yun ilan's eyes widened—

The creature's other hand lashed out, claws raking toward her chest.

She twisted, but not fast enough.

SHUNK!

Blood sprayed as the claws tore through her side, ripping flesh and muscle.

Yun ilan hissed, flipping backward to create distance. Her wound burned, chaotic energy seeping into her ridians like poison.

Yun Huanxin didn't wait.

She slashed the air, and space itself split—a jagged tear racing toward the creature.

The creature didn't dodge.

It raised a hand—

And caught the spatial slash.

BOOM!

The force exploded against its palm, but the creature didn't even flinch. Its fingers closed, crushing the spatial tear like glass.

"Ugh!" Yun Huanxin's breath hitched.

That attack could have bisected a mountain.

And it had been brushed aside.

The creature vanished.

Not teleportation.

Not speed.

It simply wasn't there one mont—and was the next.

Its fist slamd into Yun Huanxin's gut.

CRUNCH!

Her ribs shattered. Blood erupted from her mouth as she was sent flying, crashing through rock formations like a ragdoll.

Yun ilan appeared mid-air, catching her before she could hit the ground.

Yun Huanxin coughed, her vision swimming. "It's… too strong."

Yun ilan's expression was grim. "We can't fight it head-on."

The creature tilted its head again, as if amused. Then it raised a clawed hand—

And ripped the air apart.

RIIIP!

Reality itself tore like paper, a jagged wound spreading outward. The tear expanded, devouring everything it touched—earth, air, even light.

A black hole of pure chaos.

Yun Huanxin grabbed Yun ilan's arm.

"Move!"

Space bent, and they blinked away just as the void swallowed where they had been.

The creature turned, its gaze locking onto them again.

Yun ilan wiped blood from her lips. "We need to attack together."

Yun Huanxin nodded.

They split.

Yun Huanxin flickered to the left, her spectral blade humming with spatial energy.

Yun ilan lted into the shadows, reappearing behind the creature in a blur of darkness.

They struck simultaneously.

Yun Huanxin's blade slashed horizontally—a spatial severance aid to bisect.

Yun ilan's remaining dagger plunged downward—a shadow-infused stab ant to pierce the spine.

The creature moved.

Its body twisted unnaturally, avoiding both attacks with impossible flexibility.

Then it countered.

A backhand swung toward Yun Huanxin.

She folded space, making the strike pass through her—

But the creature's claws rippled, and the attack connected anyway.

WHAM!

Yun Huanxin was launched backward, her shoulder dislocated.

At the sa ti, the creature's tail—long and whip-like—lashed toward Yun ilan.

She ducked, but the tail adjusted mid-swing, curving to smash into her ribs.

CRACK!

Yun ilan gritted her teeth, feeling bones break.

The creature pressed the assault.

Its claws raked the air, leaving trails of chaotic fire that burned through space itself.

Yun Huanxin blocked with her spectral blade, but the force shattered it.

She stumbled back, blood dripping from her nose.

Yun ilan reappeared beside her, breathing heavily.

They exchanged determined glances and charged one last ti.

Yun Huanxin clapped her hands together—

"Spatial Implosion!"

The space around the creature collapsed, crushing inward with the weight of a collapsing star.

At the sa ti, Yun ilan plunged her dagger into the ground—

"Shadow's Bite!"

Countless tendrils of living darkness erupted from beneath the creature, wrapping around its limbs, binding it in place.

The creature roared, its chaotic energy flaring—

But for the first ti, it struggled.

The two attacks rged—spatial compression and shadow-binding intertwining into a single, devastating technique.

CRACKLE!

The creature's armor cracked.

Its flesh split.

Black blood oozed from its wounds.

It thrashed, its power erupting in desperate bursts—

But Yun Huanxin and Yun ilan held firm.

Their attacks intensified.

The creature's body buckled under the pressure—

Then—

BOOOOOOM!

A shockwave erupted, flinging all three combatants apart.

When the dust settled—

The creature lay motionless, its body half-crushed, its limbs twisted.

Yun Huanxin collapsed to her knees, coughing blood.

Yun ilan staggered, barely staying upright.

For a mont, there was silence.

Yun ilan didn't hesitate to throw a fireball at Tang Zhen's remains, reducing them to ashes.

"This is… really bad," Yun Huanxin said, exhausted. There were nurous Chaos Knights out there. If each one of them transford like this, she couldn't imagine how many people would lose their lives trying to take them down.

"Let's go." Yun ilan didn't waste any more ti. She grabbed Yun Huanxin and disappeared from the place…
