Seeing that Xu Ruyan was about to be found out because she couldn’t keep making things up, Chu Tian decided to let her off the hook for now.
After all, he didn’t want others to know about his relationship with Xu Ruyan. Although she had gotten in through her own efforts, others might not see it that way.
After leaving the actors’ area, Xu Ruyan rolled her eyes at the backs of the departing trio, but she genuinely breathed a sigh of relief.

Indeed, that was the case, but both Chu Tian and Xu Qingqiu weren’t so optimistic.
People only liked her because Xu Ruyan was a girl, right?
Most of the others were male actors, so they weren’t competing in the sa league.
And with her being the only girl among the main actors, pretty and capable, it was no surprise she was well-liked.
Try adding a few more won into the mix! Who cares how cute or innocent you are, or how well you can talk? With that kind of competition, even the nicest person couldn’t avoid being sched against. It would lead to utter chaos. Just thinking about it would give Wei Chuan a headache.
Talking about friendship in this industry is far too pretentious. Genuine friendships either involve people with huge differences in age, status, and position, or they’re based on mutual benefits—a shared success.
Anything else is nonsense. If you’re not stabbing each other in the back, that’s considered a good relationship.
After a brief chat, Wei Chuan excused himself as there was still so shooting to finish. Every day costs money, after all.
So, as soon as everything on set was ready, he hurried off to start filming.
Chu Tian and Xu Qingqiu watched with great interest. It was Xu Qingqiu’s first ti on a film set, and she found it not so different from shooting a TV drama.
It was just a sha that Xu Ruyan didn’t have any scenes scheduled for then, so they missed seeing her at work.

Besides shooting music videos, Xu Qingqiu also managed to win two awards, adding a little more luster to her resu.
On another front, preparations for the concert were finally nearing completion.
This concert was not a small affair like her first one. From last year to this year, Xu Qingqiu had beco incredibly popular. Many of her hit songs still frequently appeared on the popular song charts, and her music continued to boast high play counts in the short video domain.
And, as ti went on, more and more people had heard her songs, and her influence grew day by day.
Taking all conditions into account, Xu Qingqiu’s studio, together with the concert organizers Power Entertainnt, planned an extensive tour: 36 concerts across 28 cities in China and 6 concerts in 4 countries abroad, totaling 42 concerts.
The concert was officially nad the Xu Qingqiu ’Echoes of Dreams and Love’ Asian Tour.
The plans were made, but it was impossible to be fully prepared in such a short ti.
Moreover, so many concerts couldn’t be completed in a short span. Conservatively, it would take at least a year, and could even extend to two or three years.
Even so, the pressure on the singer was imnse.
A single concert requires at least seven days of preparation, including familiarizing everyone with the venue, as well as setting up and testing all the equipnt and engineering components.
Even though Xu Qingqiu only needed to be involved for two days—one for the dress rehearsal and one for the performance—she could only hold a few concerts a month.
Besides, she wasn’t a robot. She needed rest, and traveling back and forth also consud ti.
