The next day, back at the house, Ellie and Maya started getting ready because their due dates were also approaching. While they were resting in their respective rooms, suddenly "ding... dong," the doorbell at their gate rang. Ryan imdiately approached Ellie.
"Madam Ellie, there’s soone at the front. Please check the screen."
A holographic screen popped up in front of Ellie, showing the gate. Ellie’s eyes imdiately widened when she saw two people she didn’t want to see again, standing in front of her house: her father, Alex, and Charles. It was clear that Charles was carrying a bouquet of flowers in his hand, obviously indicating he had an ulterior motive beyond just visiting. Maya imdiately walked into Ellie’s room.
"Ellie, your father and Charles are out front," Maya said.
"Yeah, I know. I just saw them," Ellie replied.
"What should we do? Dylan is still at the hospital, and Aaron, Clara, Fiona, and Iris are still at school. It’s just the two of us," Maya said.
"Not just the two of you, Madam. There’s , Noah, Paul, and Roger," Ryan stated.
"That’s true. How did they find out we’re here?" Ellie asked, thinking aloud.
"I have no idea. Should we just ignore them?" Maya asked.
"Yes, let’s just ignore them. Let them keep ringing the bell," Ellie replied.
"Ryan, please tell the others to be on alert," Maya instructed.
"Yes, Madam," Ryan replied.
Ryan imdiately disappeared. Maya sat down slowly next to Ellie, holding her stomach. They watched the holographic screen in front of them. anwhile, the bell kept ringing; the screen showed Charles continuously pressing the bell without stopping. His face, initially calm, gradually turned red with irritation, while Alex looked like he wanted to leave imdiately and didn’t want to linger at the gate. It was clearly visible on the screen that Charles seed to be the one who had brought Alex there.
Finally, Alex left, and before that, they appeared to argue briefly, as if Alex no longer wanted to bother his daughter or anyone with her and was protesting to Charles. After Alex left, Charles was seen standing in front of the door and occasionally kicking it. Then, Charles was seen calling soone.
"Who’s he calling?" Maya asked.
"Maybe Connor told him we were here? But Connor doesn’t know this house, does he?" Ellie muttered.
"I don’t think it’s Connor. I’m actually suspicious of soone else. Wait a minute," Maya said.
Maya imdiately picked up her smartphone, composed an email to soone, and sent it.
"Who did you email?" Ellie asked.
"Carla. I just asked if she knows Charles," Maya replied.
"Dling," a notification popped up on Maya’s smartphone. Carla imdiately replied to the email, saying she didn’t know anyone nad Charles, and neither did Mike. They were currently busy packing because Mike got a job in another state, so they planned to move there permanently, aning they didn’t have ti for any of Charles’s gas. After reading the email, both of them started thinking again. Then they looked back at the screen, and Charles was no longer in front of the gate.
They felt relieved. Ellie, who had been ready to call Dylan, put her smartphone away.
"He’s gone. We’re safe," Maya replied.
"Yeah, I was about to get ready again," Ellie replied.
" too. Alright, I’ll go back to my room," Maya replied.
But just as Maya stood up, the holographic screen suddenly appeared again. Charles was back, but this ti he was with three n unknown to Ellie and Maya. They started ringing the bell again, and this ti one of the n was pounding on the gate, while Charles stood behind the three of them with his arms crossed over his chest. Finally, Ellie made a decision because there were three unknown n at the gate: she called the police and asked Ryan to record the footage as evidence.
anwhile, at the hospital, baby Caleb had been placed in the room with Lena, who still had to stay for another day. gan had already left to pick up Fiona and Iris from school. Dylan sat between Lena’s and Amy’s beds. After finishing feeding Caleb, Lena handed Caleb to Dylan to hold while she put her clothes back on. While looking at Caleb’s cute face, suddenly, "bwooong," a holographic screen appeared in front of Dylan’s face that Lena and Amy could also see.
"Huh... Charles?" Lena asked.
"What’s he doing at the house? How does he know where we are?" Amy asked, shocked.
"This is bad, babe. Poor Ellie and Maya are at ho," Lena added.
"Yeah, they must be terrified. Do sothing, babe," Amy added.
"I’ll go ho for a bit, but I won’t leave you guys here," Dylan replied, handing Caleb back to Lena.
"Okay, thank you," Lena and Amy replied.
Dylan imdiately used his clone skill to create a copy of himself, which stood in front of the seated original.
"KATS, please watch things here for a mont," Dylan commanded in his head.
[Alright, sir. This is all CROWS’ doing. He’s the one who knows where we are.]
"Hmm... alright, I’m leaving," Dylan replied in his head.
[Yes, sir. Leave everything here to .]
"Thank you," Dylan replied.
Then Dylan imdiately teleported and appeared next to Ellie. Of course, Ellie and Maya were instantly shocked, but they imdiately hugged Dylan and looked extrely relieved. After that,
"I already called the police," Ellie said.
"Okay, when the police get here, I’ll go out. Calm down, you’re safe now," Dylan replied.
"Yes, thank you, babe," Ellie and Maya replied together.
Not long after, police sirens were heard. The screen showed Charles saying sothing to the three n in front of him, then they just left. When the police arrived, Dylan t them and told the police everything. He also showed evidence that he lived in the house and provided the cara recording, which clearly showed Charles arriving with Alex, followed by the three unknown n.
The police took notes and requested the recording as evidence. After the police left, Dylan went back inside and returned to Ellie’s room.
"It’s safe for now. Just relax," Dylan replied.
"Yeah, but how could he know we were here?" Ellie asked.
"I tried asking Carla; turns out they weren’t the ones who told Charles. They don’t even know who Charles is," Maya added.
"I can tell you why Charles knows we’re all here," Dylan said.
Dylan sat down between Ellie and Maya, then told them that CROWS was the one who inford Charles of Dylan’s location. Dylan deliberately opened his telepathy channel so Lena and Amy at the hospital could hear it too. After that, they all imdiately fell silent.
"So, CROWS is with Charles now?" Ellie asked.
"Sothing like that," Dylan replied.
"That’s absolutely outrageous... CROWS paired with Charles, who has a trash personality. What a match," Maya replied, annoyed.
"Then what should we do?" Lena asked.
"Yeah, we can’t just ignore this," Amy added.
"I’ll take care of him. Lena, please focus on Caleb for now. Ellie, Maya, and Amy, focus on your deliveries. Your ti is close, right? Just relax and don’t think about anything. I promise you’ll be safe," Dylan stated.
"Alright, I understand. Thank you, babe," Amy said.
"Yes, I understand too," Maya added, holding onto Dylan’s arm.
"But please be careful. Don’t be reckless. Rember you’re a father now," Ellie added, also holding onto Dylan’s arm.
"Oh... Ellie stole my line," Lena protested.
"You’re too late," Ellie replied.
The atmosphere returned to normal, and the tension disappeared, but even while laughing, Dylan was still communicating in his head.
"Okay, KATS, we’ll take care of everything today," Dylan said.
[Hmm... I don’t think so, sir.]
"What? Why?" Dylan asked.
[Because you’re about to get so good news again.]
"Huh... what do you an?" Dylan asked.
[Just wait a little longer. I’m stepping out of the room now.]
"Huh... what are you doing leaving the room?" Dylan asked.
But before KATS could answer Dylan’s question, he suddenly heard Lena’s voice, which sounded panicked. When Dylan asked Lena to calm down and tell him slowly,
"Um... Babe, Ellie, Maya... Amy’s water broke! The Dylan clone here is already going out to call the nurse, and I already pressed the nurse button. Co on... take a deep breath and let it out... hold on a little longer, Amy," Lena said, panicked.
"Y-yes... ugh," Amy replied.

Suddenly, Ellie and Maya tightly embraced Dylan’s arms. Then both of them looked at Dylan’s face.
"Let’s teleport there," Ellie said.

"Alright, let’s go," Dylan said.
"Wait! There are lots of nurses!" Lena yelled.
But it was too late. Dylan, Ellie, and Maya had already teleported and arrived next to Lena, startling the nurses who were busy tidying up and preparing Amy on the next bed for delivery. The Dylan clone disappeared as the real Dylan, Ellie, and Maya appeared. The room suddenly fell silent, but then,
"Waaah... waaah,"
Caleb cried, breaking the montary silence. Lena imdiately picked him up and held him. The room beca busy again as the nurses resud their work. Not long after, the nurses wheeled Amy’s bed toward the delivery room, with Dylan holding Amy’s hand and following them inside.
