The duo still naked in bed stared at each other like lovers from so corny romance movie.
"You know, the only way to stay by my side is to slowly accept my Death Qi. Whatever ans I speak, you must accept." Deathholder's son was speaking with a loose tongue.
"Oh. Why is this Death Qi of yours so potent?" She giggled through her question.
"We trying to be flirtatious at this mont in ti?" He spoke with a softness in his eyes.
"Maybe, just maybe." She whispered while rolling onto his chest.
The duo did not seem to care at this mont. Unlike before, Deathholder's son seed to like her more and more. He felt the pain and anguish of her dying like this at any mont.
"You know being serious right now. There is a problem with my Death Qi and it is a family blood trait. Unless you truly wish to stay by my side, I have to learn how to control my Qi. It is hard to learn about controlling and proper usage without any training. Even my father told that he could not help when I was child.
However, during the years of watching. I learned that he never truly used it like other people use their Qi. I believe, this is my belief, that the Death Qi is similar to Soul Qi. What I need to do to make it work? That is the problem."
The woman now fully understanding his predicant understood why they were the Deathholders. If their Soul Qi was in fact Death, that would make them the eldest family by too far.
Why was that? Simple. Death is a part of the cycle. Even when others joke about it in the Realms. Reincarnation can be halted. First, is the Death of the Soul. No Reincarnation if your Soul Died. Second, your Soul is too weak to reincarnate.
If the Deathholder Family could actually kill or destroy Souls. That would make them older than even so of the forr grandest families.
"Your Qi is dependent on Death and how it works. What if you traveled with the other man just to watch him spare life? Would that not make it worth your ti in learning about the Death in the opposite?"
The son blinked. His future now open to more than just living. Watching life grow, watching it die, and who knows what other things he could learn.
"You just gave a wonderful idea." He kissed her.
That mont of kissing, she felt too much of sothing enter her. It was weird feeling it. She had already felt his Qi enter him but this felt like sothing darker, more profound than darkness itself.
As soon as she felt darkness closing in. She was snapped out of the kiss. She saw sothing that made her feel afraid. A skeleton of him residing over her. A paper was sent to her. She looked it at and saw that it was a marriage certificate.
"You are not only marrying a man. This is price you pay if you want to stay with him." She looked up to see a scythe at her neck.
"Choose carefully." She was released.
A couple of blinks and she saw that she was back. It did not seem like anything happened to the man in front of her. To her, that release was welcod.
"I am afraid now. I just saw sothing that I probably should not have. I dare not to speak about it with you because I believe it has to do with your bloodline. That is probably why your father could not explain it to you. It is simply because of how your bloodline works." She sadly spoke.
Deathholder's son was saddened. That did not an he would not try to help her with more won.
"Okay. So I cannot help you. Do you believe that more won around to help you will work?" He asked.
"The worriso thing is that. I believe the more won you get, so of them will naturally die due to your bloodline. I do not want to believe this but whatever your bloodline truly wants from you it will get. What it wants from your won it will get. The only thing stopping it truly is your emotions and feelings toward whoever the target is." She spoke.
Hearing those words, a bell seed to go off in his head. She needed to die and now. He fought the urge to. He needed a way to stop the release and make sure that she was safe.
She kissed him this ti. She found herself back at the marriage certificate with the scythe at her neck.
"I am only doing this because I want to ensure that he lives a proper life. This is not about nor what I feel for this mont." She said those words and a clarity ca over the duo.
She was exited again and Deathholder's son seed to understand now that she genuinely cares for him and wants the best for him.
"Thank you greatly. I have never felt better." Deathholder's son told her sincerely.
"I want this marriage between us to be kept a secret until we find a proper place for my status. I truly do not want Head Wife." She spoke.
At that mont, Deathholder's son decided to place her as his Soul Mate. She would probably deny it or worst or probably accept it and be glad for it. That would be just between them two and them two alone.
