The group finally made it to the city. It was nothing but a few shops, many people, and a place to hold a tournant. The inn there was only open when a tournant was being held. No one really ca to this town expect for that. Instead of always losing money, the owner would get a few people to help run the inn a few days before and after the tournant.
As the grandchild, his four won, and Rex's won wanted to enjoy a bed for once. They were upset that the inn was closed.
"I am sorry. The inn only opens when a tournant is happening." The lady from across the street said.
"Well. Looks like another night in a tent." The grandchild was downtrodden for his won.
"We will survive. It would have been nice to have a good comfortable spot to rest tonight." His sister spoke.
As the timing of the sunsetting ca down. The group had to ask where they could either set up tents or spend nights with so of the locals.
"Do not be upset. For I can open just a couple of rooms for you folks. I do this for the won not for you n." The lady spoke.
"Thank you graciously. Why are you upset with n?" The mother spoke.
"I have been cheated by, on, and abused by n for most of my early life. Even my four children do not know who their father is or where he is at. That is all for now." The lady spoke.
She opened the door and allowed the group to enter. The spiders had naturally made themselves a ho outside of the city. The Ancient Zuggurant currently stayed with the spiders.
As all of them got into a room. She had opened six rooms only five were in use. Rex and his won stayed in a room, the grandchild and his won stayed in another room, the Beastn separated into the other three rooms.
"Pleasant dreams folks. The main door will be locked. The kitchen has a few supplies mainly just stuff that does not go bad. If you need at, just walk over to the store and get what you want. I can be paid in the morning for the rooms as well." She spoke.
As she left, she made sure to lock the door. Since Qi was here, most people would have flown to their destination and back and not gone by foot unless needed to. Unless one was with a Sect and traveled by foot, most people who just wanted to see how high they could go would just fly through the common areas and try to get to their top as fast as possible.
In the room with the grandchild
"I am not as strong as what I should be." The grandchild spoke.
He got comforting hugs by his mother and sister.
"Honey, do not worry about what strength you have now or not. You will grow and gain power as you travel. Rather the power is in the form of more won, yourself gaining strength, or the people you et. Nothing will stop you." The mother spoke.
"Thanks." He replied still upset.
"What about a round to make you forget the troubles for now?" The sister asked.
The other won were shocked to hear that she was willing to do it with her half brother.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea. Co on get undressed." The mother replied.
The other two won were even more shocked to hear that the mother was willing to do it with her son.
"Right now, I honestly do not feel like. I need to focus on my strength in order to make you all happy. Even though we could dual cultivate, I do not want to lose you all to the fact of that is how we have to get stronger.
I want my strength to beco yours and your strength to be behind cheering on. I have no regrets in strength like that. I do have regrets that people will use each other to beco stronger.
Allies are different, dual cultivation just to beco stronger? I will not do it unless there is no other option currently. Right now, I have many ways to beco stronger. I just hope that everyone will be alright when I saw that we will be going our separate ways in the morning.
Yes. We will be going our separate ways because not only do I need to increase but each of you as well. No woman should just be with a man only thinking of himself. A true man will not only help himself but the people around him.
I see now why Rex is able to have so many won around him. He is strong, foremost, he is also helping his won along the way. Each step he takes, he makes sure that his won are able to follow.
I want to beco a person like that. I cannot follow Rex to beco like him. I have to forge my own path to beco like him. I plan to hurry my way through the Ninth Realm and see what lays beyond. Then can we actually beco strong.
The biggest obstacle in our path is our history with not only this Realm but the weaker Realm as well. Until we all are able to leave the weaker Realm, none of us will beco strong enough to do what we want to do." The grandchild finished his speech.
"You are right the weaker Realm is our biggest hurdle because all of us have bad history in it. What about you? How are you going to be able to cultivate without going through the proper channels?" His sister asked.
"I will ask for one last favor to get us closer to the usual spots. Maybe we can also get into tournants, nothing to crazy just so small ones to help watch different kinds of battles and form my own way through battles."
The won all agreed that maybe he was not crazy but he had already envisioned how he would beco stronger himself.
