He looked around at the gorgeous blood-red flowers, which resembled roses but were larger and even more stunning. They were truly breathtaking—each bloom a perfect representation of deep, passionate love, a rare and cherished symbol in the Eagle Kingdom. If a male gave these flowers to a female, it was considered a powerful declaration, one that held significant aning.

Rowan couldn’t understand why his friend was on the verge of destroying sothing so precious, sothing he had asked to be arranged for soone special in the first place.

"I can’t believe she’s there... I need to go, I need to go..." Silas muttered under his breath, his voice filled with desperation and a touch of madness. His usually steady hands, now rough and trembling with intensity, gripped the flowers tightly, almost crushing them in his grasp. In a sudden, furious motion, he ripped the blood-red blooms from their roots, the vibrant petals tearing away as he threw them down the slope of the mountain without a second thought.

The flowers, once a symbol of love and beauty, scattered down the mountainside, their beauty lost to the cold, harsh ground below. Silas’s breathing was ragged, his mind a whirlwind of chaotic thoughts as he struggled to make sense of his emotions. The only thing clear to him was the overwhelming need to reach her, to find Kyra, no matter what it took.

"SILAS!" Rowan shouted, his voice echoing through the valley as he rushed over, grabbing Silas by the shoulders. He shook him firmly, trying to snap him out of whatever had taken hold of him. "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE YOU’VE LOST YOUR MIND?"

Rowan’s sun-like eyes bore into Silas’s, searching for so explanation in the Strom he saw there.

He couldn’t understand what had caused this sudden shift in his usually composed friend. "Talk to , Silas," he pleaded, his grip tightening as he tried to ground Silas in the mont. "You’re not making any sense."

But Silas’s gaze was distant, unfocused, as if he was caught in a storm of emotions too powerful to put into words. The madness Rowan saw in his eyes wasn’t just frustration or anger—it was sothing deeper, sothing that had been buried for too long and was now clawing its way to the surface.

"Never mind!" Rowan rolled his eyes, exasperated. "I don’t get it. What’s wrong with you? Ever since you ca back from your trip to Aracida, you’ve been acting weird. You used to be calm, emotionally controlled. Now, it’s like you’re soone else."

Suddenly, Silas spoke, his voice low and filled with an intensity that made Rowan’s heart skip a beat. "It’s finally ti..."

The words hung in the air between them, heavy with aning that Rowan couldn’t quite grasp.

Silas’s eyes sharpened, and for a brief mont, Rowan caught a glimpse of the fierce determination behind the madness. There was sothing Silas was preparing for, sothing big, and it was tearing him apart from the inside out.

Rowan let go of Silas, stepping back slightly, his confusion turning into a mix of worry and fear. "Ti for what, Silas?" he asked, his voice quieter now, almost afraid of the answer.

Silas didn’t respond imdiately, his gaze fixed sowhere far off, beyond the mountains, beyond the horizon, as if he was looking at sothing only he could see. "Ti to face what I’ve been running from," he finally said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Ti to find her."

Rowan’s eyes widened in realization. Whoever "she" was, she had a hold on Silas that went deeper than anything Rowan had ever seen. And whatever Silas had gone through in Aracida, it had only brought him closer to the edge, to the point where he was now—a male on the brink of sothing that could change everything.

"Why are you running away from her?" Rowan asked, utterly confused. With Silas’s face, his status as the King of the Eagle Kingdom, and the undeniable power he held, he could have any female he wanted. The very idea that soone could make him run was almost laughable. Yet here he was, acting like a man haunted by sothing—or soone—he couldn’t face.

Silas’s response was so quiet that Rowan almost missed it. "Fear that she doesn’t rember ..."

Rowan blinked, caught off guard. That wasn’t the answer he had expected. "What do you an, she doesn’t rember you? Who is she, Silas?"

Silas turned his head, finally eting Rowan’s gaze, and the depth of pain in his eyes was almost unbearable to witness. "She’s...everything I’ve ever wanted and more. But when we t, she didn’t know who I was. Not truly. I had to hide so much of myself from her. And now...now I fear that when she sees the real , she won’t rember or care about the person she t."

Rowan’s confusion only deepened. "But why would she forget you? You’re unforgettable, Silas. Anyone would rember you."

Silas shook his head, a bitter smile twisting his lips. "It’s not that simple, Rowan. We were connected in a way that goes beyond just mory. It was...sothing else, sothing deeper. But circumstances tore us apart before she ever really knew who I was, and now I fear that ti has erased what little we had. If I go back to her, if I show her who I truly am, and she doesn’t rember or doesn’t feel the sa... I don’t know if I could bear that."

Rowan was silent, processing Silas’s words. He had never seen his friend so vulnerable, so afraid. The mighty King of the Eagle Kingdom, brought to his knees by the fear of losing sothing—or soone—he had never fully had.

"But Silas," Rowan finally said, his voice gentle, "You’ll never know if you don’t face her. Running away will only keep you in this limbo, this madness. Maybe she will rember, maybe she won’t—but you owe it to yourself to find out. To know for sure."

Silas didn’t reply as mories flooded back. Her human form was even more gorgeous than he had ever imagined. Seeing her for the first ti, hearing her sing, and witnessing her bravery like always left him speechless and amazed.
