Chapter 515: Entering the hidden sage village

Ethan’s thirty minutes of borrowed supremacy came to an abrupt end, and the paralysis came with merciless precision. It was not a gradual weakening, nor a fading exhaustion. It struck like a law being enforced, absolute and irreversible within its bounds.

No healing could mend this condition. That was the ultimate cost, the hidden edge of that terrifying talent. Power beyond reason, followed by a state beyond recovery.

Null frowned, his expression tightening as confusion overtook him. He could not immediately understand what had happened. One moment Ethan had stood like an unshakable pillar, and the next he had collapsed into immobility.

His thoughts sharpened instantly. Someone must have interfered.

A surge of anger rose within him, immense and suffocating, pressing outward like a storm seeking release. Yet there was no target. No presence. No disturbance in the flow of the world that he could trace back to an enemy.

Still, instinct guided him. He stepped closer and attempted to heal Ethan.

For Null, healing was not a skill. It was something closer to breathing, an effortless act governed by his will alone. Injuries, poisons, distortions of energy, none of them had ever resisted him.

But this time was different.

His eyes widened.

The power flowed, yet nothing changed. Not even the slightest response came from Ethan’s body. It was as though the condition existed outside the reach of restoration itself.

“A supreme attacked him? Who?” Null muttered under his breath, his thoughts racing as he scanned his memory. He replayed every moment, every fluctuation of energy, every distant movement of the ancient entities he kept watch over.

Nothing.

No trace. No anomaly. No sign of intrusion.

The absence itself was unsettling.

Without wasting further time, Null lifted Ethan and left the place.

The world bent, and space folded obediently. In the next instant, they appeared within his domain.

Null did not care for ordinary living. His strength defined his existence, and everything around him reflected that reality.

His castle stood vast and imposing, constructed from transparent crystalline stone that shimmered with layered light. From within, one could see the endless expanse beyond, yet from outside, nothing could penetrate its surface. It was both exposed and sealed, a paradox shaped by power.

The moment Null arrived, the castle responded.

Hundreds of maids and servants appeared in perfect formation, their movements synchronized as though guided by a single will. This was not an occasional display. It was routine. Every time Null returned, they greeted him with absolute precision and grandeur.

Null acknowledged them with a brief nod, his attention already elsewhere. He carried Ethan through the halls and entered a vast guest chamber, richly adorned yet untouched by excess.

He placed Ethan gently on the bed.

“Rest here. If you need anything, just think,” Null said.

“Thank you,” Ethan replied, his voice existing only within his mind.

Null gave a final nod before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

Silence settled.

After a moment, Ethan spoke inwardly.

“Yumiko, is there a way to save the level of the enemy? I mean, maybe I can fight a supreme enemy, and then I will be able to use that level of power every time I face a situation that requires this talent?”

There was a brief pause before the response came.

[Don’t know, master. This talent of yours is extremely outrageous. So I do not think any other function exists for it beyond what is already written.]

Yumiko’s tone remained steady, but the implication was clear. This ability was not something meant to be expanded or optimized. It was already beyond reason.

Ethan did not respond.

He lay still, his body locked, yet his mind remained active. Thoughts began to align, forming a path forward.

“The Elysium and Hyperion are merely research domains of Eisenwald,” he thought.

“I need to enter the true Infinite world. The one and only Grand Axiom.”

The concept alone carried a weight that words could barely contain.

Every creation, every existence, everything that could be named or perceived, fell under that singular world. Even these so-called semi-infinite realms were nothing more than fragments within its vast structure.

Even his omniscient core could not determine whether the Grand Axiom had an origin.

Because origin itself existed within it.

Thought existed within it.

Time, space, power, laws, causality, existence itself, all of it was enpassed within that boundless totality.

No idea could surpass it. No understanding could fully contain it.

It was simply the Grand Axiom.

The beginning and the end, without contradiction.

“I need to leave Elysium and step onto the true plane of the Grand Axiom,” he continued inwardly.

“This place is under the surveillance of a supreme villain.”

He already knew the method.

He needed to surpass level 500, not just in physical strength, but in the prehension of law itself. Once he crossed that threshold, Elysium would no longer be able to contain him. It would reject him, forcing him outward.

“All I need is time,” he thought.

“Only after obtaining the throne of infinity will my journey e to an end.”

Even as he acknowledged it, he understood the scale of what lay ahead.

That alone would be a journey of unimaginable magnitude.

True infinity concealed more secrets than Eisenwald himself had ever uncovered.

And within true infinity, there was no final peak.

If one could not prehend the true law of infinity, then there would always be another existence beyond reach.

There would always be someone stronger.

Ten days passed.

Ethan regained control over his body.

The paralysis receded as abruptly as it had arrived, leaving behind no trace except memory.

He stood once more.

“Thank you,” Ethan said.

Null observed him carefully, still unsettled by what he had witnessed.

“Null, I need to talk to you,” Ethan continued, his tone steady and serious.

Null’s curiosity sharpened. He could sense the shift in atmosphere.

Ethan did not hesitate.

He revealed everything.

Eisenwald.

The nature of Elysium and Hyperion.

The existence of the Grand Axiom.

Each word carried a weight that pressed against Null’s understanding.

By the time Ethan finished, a cold sweat had formed across Null’s face.

The scale of the truth was beyond anything he had considered.

All this time, he had believed himself to be a supreme existence.

Yet in the face of this revelation, that belief fractured.

He was not at the top.

He was part of a structure far larger than himself.

A piece within a design he had never perceived.

“Arrange a meeting with all the supremes. I want to speak with them,” Ethan said calmly.

His expression remained posed, but his intent was clear.

He intended to take control of Elysium.

If Eisenwald personally intervened, then hehehehe.

There was even a faint trace of amusement in his thoughts.

He would demonstrate exactly how heavy his fist could bee.

Null exhaled slowly, trying to steady himself.

“This is too much,” he said. “I need to consult the others. Why don’t you e with me to the Sage Village? We can speak with the old man first. Gathering all the supremes in one place will not be easy.”

Ethan considered it briefly.

“Do not worry. I will visit the Sage Village. I have business there as well,” he replied, a calm smile forming.

“When do we leave?” Null asked.

“Now.”

Null nodded.

“Alright.”

In the next moment, both of them vanished from the castle.

Space folded once more, and they reappeared within a dense forest.

The air was thick with ancient energy, and the towering trees stretched endlessly upward, their presence heavy and silent.

Ethan knew this place.

He knew its location.

But he chose to remain silent, allowing Null to lead.

Null stepped forward and approached a massive tree, its trunk wide enough to resemble a wall of living wood. He placed his palm against its surface.

Immediately, a blinding light erupted.

The tree responded as though it had been waiting.

Energy surged outward, and a portal formed within the trunk, its interior swirling with layered radiance.

“Let’s enter,” Null said.

Without hesitation, they stepped forward.

The world shifted again.

On the other side lay the hidden Sage Village.

It was unlike any ordinary settlement.

This village had been constructed from beings of superior genetic origin. The village lord had gathered exceptional traits from across Elysium, refining and bining them to create a population that surpassed all external standards.

Ethan’s gaze moved slowly across the surroundings.

Children played in the open spaces, but even their casual movements carried precision and strength far beyond normal limits.

Some appeared human.

Others bore features of beasts, their forms blending traits seamlessly.

Even the animals present possessed an unnatural refinement, their presence sharp and aware.

This was not a place for the weak.

Here, the lowest level began at 300.

Null glanced at Ethan.

“Do you want to take a look around, or meet the old man first?” he asked.

Ethan did not hesitate.

“Let’s meet him first. We can explore afterward.”

Null gave a slight nod and began to move.

Ethan followed, his eyes still observing the village, already calculating the role this place would play in what was to e.
