Chapter 514: Fighting the two supreme gods

“Eisenwald, huh? So I have already made an enemy that high,” he smiled wryly.

He did not fully understand why that sentence left his mouth so naturally. Was it arrogance speaking, or was it something deeper, something instinctive that had begun to take root within him?

“Where is that god?” he asked after calming himself.

[He has been taken away by those two primordial gods, as they are aware that you are after him. If you go there and attack that god, it would be equivalent to attacking them, and they could use that as an excuse to personally eliminate you without breaking the rules of the tower.]

Ethan smiled coldly.

“Is that so? Do they not know that I am actually here for them as well?” he muttered under his breath.

“I need to kill them, but that would cause turmoil in the divine realm and shift the balance of power,” he thought slowly, his expression turning contemplative.

He paused for a moment before asking, “Is there anyone in the divine realm among the god race who is actually good and is being suppressed by those two old bastards?”

[There is. In fact, those two are not the first primordial gods. There was one before them who was kinder, and during his time the god race was peaceful. However, they became disciples of that old man from Elysium and suppressed that god.]

“So that old man is reaping what he sowed, huh?” Ethan said mockingly, a faint trace of disdain in his tone.

“Where is he suppressed?” Ethan asked, and soon a location surfaced in his mind.

Without wasting another second, he teleported to that place.

The place was a village.

It was quiet and unassuming, far removed from the chaos and power struggles of the divine realm. Simple homes lined the area, and the atmosphere carried a sense of calm that felt almost out of place in such a world.

He saw that an old man was planting crops in the field, his movements slow but steady. Nearby, small children were jumping and laughing, their carefree voices filling the air.

Ethan walked toward the old man and stopped beside him.

“Old man, I want to talk to you,” he said.

The old man paused his work and looked at Ethan.

“Talk to me? May I know who you are?” the old man asked, his tone calm but observant.

“You will not know me. I am here to ask you, do you want to bee the supreme god again? Because I am going to kill those bastards, and the god race would bee leaderless,” Ethan said directly, without hesitation.

Instantly, the old man felt a jolt run through his body.

Who was this person? He spoke about killing the two primordial gods as if it were something trivial.

“They have taken my inner law. I cannot bee a god even if I wanted to,” the old man said, his voice carrying a quiet resignation.

“Leave that to me,” Ethan replied.

Before the old man could say anything further, Ethan vanished.

Now, he could kill both of them without worrying too much.

…..

“Would he e here?” one of the supreme gods asked.

“I do not know. If he believes he is strong enough to take us down, he will definitely e. If not, then I cannot say,” the other replied.

They were speaking in a space hidden beyond perception, a place whose location was known to no one except them.

Suddenly, the space rippled.

A distortion spread across the void, and Ethan appeared there.

He stood in front of them calmly, his gaze steady as he observed them.

The god of the fate race was contained within one of the two.

“Hand him over,” Ethan said coldly.

“Or else?” the god asked in a casual tone, though his eyes had sharpened slightly.

“You three die together,” Ethan replied without hesitation.

In the next instant, he activated his ultimate talent.

Infinite Ascension.

His aura surged violently.

His level rose at an exponential rate. From level 100, it climbed rapidly to 130, matching their level.

He did not waste even a second. He had only thirty minutes before the backlash would collapse his body.

Boom!

He punched toward the god who was holding the fate race creator.

That god did not anticipate such a sudden and ferocious attack.

“Die.”

The two gods reacted immediately.

And this time, they did not hold back.

Roar! Roar!

Two massive behemoth beasts appeared beside them. One took the form of a colossal dragon, its scales shimmering with divine energy. The other was an enormous whale, its presence distorting the very space around it.

“So that is their final form of law strand?” Ethan thought.

“I wonder what mine would look like?”

However, he did not dwell on it.

He activated his gray mist production along with Void God Azaroth.

The gray mist spread outward like a living plague, corroding everything it touched. It was a direct counter to law strands, destroying them without exception.

As for Void God Azaroth, its power was usually less effective against stronger opponents.

But now, Ethan stood on equal footing with them.

“Die, die.”

He began teleporting rapidly, launching relentless attacks from all directions.

The two behemoth beasts were being corroded away.

Every punch he delivered destroyed parts of them permanently.

The faces of the two supreme gods turned pale with horror.

Within a single minute, their strength had already diminished significantly.

“Stop. We will hand him over,” they said urgently.

Ethan stopped.

They let out a breath of relief and released the god of the fate race.

Ethan appeared in front of him instantly and slashed with his hand.

He bined the attack with his Lord of Fate talent.

The strike was absolute.

In that instant, the god of the fate race died.

“Now please leave. We will not e after you anymore,” one of the gods said quickly.

“Do you even believe your own words?” Ethan snorted.

Without waiting for a response, he attacked them again.

This time, he used Time Stop.

The entire space froze.

Both gods were immobilized.

Ethan appeared in front of one of them and killed him in the same manner.

He was powerful, but pared to Ethan at this moment, he stood no chance.

Ethan then turned toward the remaining one.

He moved to finish him as well.

But just as he was about to strike, something changed.

A throne appeared in the endless void.

It materialized without warning, radiating an authority that surpassed everything present.

Someone sat upon it.

A figure with pale blue eyes, calm and unreadable.

“You said something very interesting. So I am observing you from now on. And you cannot kill this piece from the research lab,” he said with a calm smile.

He snapped his fingers.

The remaining supreme god vanished instantly.

At the same time, Ethan felt a force beyond his resistance.

He was forcefully teleported away.

In the next moment, Ethan appeared back in the divine realm, at the place from where he had departed.

“Eisenwald is watching me,” his face darkened.

But he did not have the luxury to linger.

He teleported back to the village.

The old man was still there.

Ethan grabbed his shoulder.

Instantly, time began reversing around the old man.

The flow of existence rewound.

Moments later, the old man returned to his peak condition, his lost power restored.

“Thank you,” the old man said, bowing deeply.

“I have killed one. The other one escaped. Be careful,” Ethan said, and vanished once again.

This time, he appeared in Elysium.

Without delay, he used the summoning device that Null had given him.

A ripple formed beside him.

Null appeared.

“My friend, what happened?” he asked, concern evident in his expression.

“Please protect me for ten days,” Ethan said.

The moment the words left his mouth, his body gave in.

He collapsed.
