But when he noticed sothing wrong with her underwear, he frowned, breaking their kiss, and then touched upwards a bit asking, “Are you on your period?”
By now, Jing Haohao was completely awake, she nodded at Liang Chen, “Started this afternoon.”
“The timing seems off.” Liang Chen frowned, muttering to himself.
Jing Haohao was surprised that Liang Chen was keeping track of her period and subconsciously tensed up.
Liang Chen recalled what Zhang told him, that excessive use of birth control could cause nstrual and hormonal disorders, guessing this must be due to the contraceptive pill. So, he lowered his head, speaking softly and breathlessly into Jing Haohao’s ear,”You’re not allowed to take the pill anymore, it’s bad for your health. Tomorrow I will ask Nanny Lin to prepare so nutritional diet for you every day for you to regain your health. No wonder you’ve been losing weight these days.”
Jing Haohao closed her eyes, without uttering a single word.
Liang Chen stared at her profile for a mont, then said, “If one day, you really get pregnant, then let’s have the baby. I will… ” When Liang Chen said this, he paused slightly, then continued,
“I will treat you and the baby well.”
In fact, what he wanted to say was, he would love her and their child… but halfway through he rembered Jing Haohao’s resentnt towards him and changed his words.
If he truly told her he loved her, perhaps his feelings would be of little importance to her.
