Despite spending two days in the hospital, Lu Lixing’s high fever actually started to decline the day after he was hospitalized. Lu Lixing stayed another night, nevertheless, because he had co to believe that the wound on his palm was infected and had to be observed further.
On the third day, under Ji Qingqing’s strong suspicion that he was getting better, Lu Lixing decided to be discharged from the hospital.

After a week of being away from ho, the whole villa was empty. Now as soon as the car rolled into the front yard of the villa, Aunt Pei welcod them while the others brought Lu Lixing and Ji Qingqing’s suitcase back to their room.
Grandpa Lu asked what happened after he saw the wound on Lu Lixing’s hand. As if nothing happened, Lu Lixing simply said that he was cut by a reef when he went swimming in the sea.
Ji Qingqing, on the other hand, remained silent and kept her head down. After all, it was because of her that he got injured.

Lu Lixing nodded and said, “Okay.” He then looked at Lu Liting and said, “Co upstairs with .”
Lu Liting’s eyelids drooped slightly. Not looking at anyone’s eyes, he silently followed Lu Lixing upstairs to the study.
It wasn’t until the backs of the two disappeared up the stairs that Ji Qingqing regained her senses. Sitting next to Grandpa Lu, she asked in a whisper, “Grandpa, what’s going on?”

Ji Qingqing smiled and did not speak any further.
Grandpa Lu obviously didn’t want to talk more on this matter, so he changed the subject and jokingly asked, “Co, tell Grandpa, how did you spend ti with Lixing in the past few days? Was it good?”
Aunt Pei spoke from the side. “It must have been a joyful experience since the young lady’s face never stopped smiling.”

Aunt Pei said, “Old man, you always worry that the young master can’t take good care of the young lady. You can now rest assured, right? Ji Qingqing could hardly stand it. It really seed like she couldn’t be around them any longer. Ji Qingqing abruptly got up and said, “Grandpa, Aunt Pei, I… my things in that suitcase aren’t unpacked yet. I’ll head upstairs and unpack my things first, and then I’ll co down later to chat with you.”
After saying that, without waiting for Grandpa Lu to speak, she hurriedly went upstairs.
Awkward… That was really too awkward.
Ji Qingqing covered her red and hot face. She couldn’t imagine how to face Grandpa Lu and Aunt Pei afterward. After all, who would know? On the surface, she and Lu Lixing appeared to respect each other like guests, but behind the scenes, she coyly kept shouting husband non-stop.
