Lu Lixing avoided the cara and asked Ji Qingqing quietly, “This is what you planned today?”

“What? You don’t like it?”

“Boring.”

Ji Qingqing rolled her eyes at him. She stood outside in the school’s corridor and looked inside the classroom. Rows of tables were neatly arranged inside and the front and back blackboard had been wiped clean.

“Mr. Lu, how was it like at the overseas high school and university?”

Lu Lixing looked at the classroom in a daze.

“Hm?” Ji Qingqing didn’t get a reply and raised her head to look at him.

“I don’t rember.”

“Totally no impression of it?”

“None.”

“Then during your school days did you have soone whom you crushed on?”

“No.”

Lu Lixing raised his eyebrows. “You do?”

Ji Qingqing paused for a bit and thought of her student days. At that ti how was she able to discern clearly between like and love? It was her first awakening to love. She just wished she could happen upon him every day yet she was also scared soone would find out about it. Seeing Ji Qingqing smile get wider and wider, Lu Lixing’s brow tightened. “You really had one?”

“Who wouldn’t have a couple of people whom they liked when they’re young?”

Lu Lixing's expression sank. Just as he was about to reply sothing, he heard Ji Qingqing laugh and continue again, “At that ti, I liked those who were handso, good in their studies, those that were poor in their studies but were aweso in fighting, and those that were rebellious and defiant. However, crushes, this sort of thing, most of the ti nothing would co out of it and you just end up thinking about them briefly when you're old.”

“Thinking about them briefly?” Lu Lixing’s eyes slightly darkened and he intensely gazed at her. “You’re still thinking about the person you previously crushed on?”

Ji Qingqing glanced at him. “What are you thinking? I’m already destined not to see them again in my life. I think of them for what? There are tis when I think of them, but it’s only when I’m reminiscing about my student days; they make up my mories during that period of ti that’s all.”

She sighed. “Actually I don’t even rember clearly what they’re called and how they look.”

Vaguely the sound of voices was heard. Ji Qingqing turned behind and looked towards the direction of the field. “It seems like there are people playing basketball at the basketball court. Mr. Lu, do you know how to play basketball?”

“No.”
