Ji Qingqing appeared sowhat intoxicated.
“Don’t drink too much, the wine has a pretty high concentration of alcohol.”
Ji Qingqing was in a daze as she smiled. She was completely unconcerned when she said, “You can rest assured. I won’t be drunk after only drinking three cups.”
With that said, she poured another glass of wine into her wine glass.
Lu Lixing watched as she drank one glass after another glass of wine. He didn’t stop her.
Everyone needed a way to vent their feelings. If they continue to suppress their feelings in their heart for too long, then sooner or later, they will beco sick from the stress.
Ji Qingqing couldn’t rember how many glasses of wine she had drunk, but the more she drank, the sweeter the wine tasted. She suddenly felt as if her whole body was finally free from worry. After she drank nurous glasses of wine, she started to feel dizzy. Everything turned blurry in front of her and she could barely keep her eyelids open.
People usually drink during a al to liven the atmosphere up, but Ji Qingqing didn’t. She drank because she was stressed.
“Qingqing, stop drinking by yourself. You should have a drink with Yu Yang. He has waited for you for years, so you should at least have the courtesy to express your feelings for her,” Mother Ji bluntly said this in front of Lu Lixing.
Ji Qingqing still had so rationality in her mind, so when she heard those words, she chuckled and said, “He was probably playing around with other won during those years. Don’t say that he misses , it’s disgusting.”
“How can you talk like that?”
Ji Qingqing was too lazy to argue with her and continued drinking wine.
“Yu Yang don’t mind her. She’s drunk right now.”
Yu Yang looked at Lu Lixing’s complexion and quickly turned away. He had never bumped heads with Lu Lixing before and he never dared to. He smiled awkwardly and said, “We should let nature take its course when it cos to relationships and love.”
Mother Ji hated Ji Qingqing for failing to et her expectations. She forced a smile on her face and put another Chinese mitten crab on Yu Yang’s bowl.
After the al ended, Ji Qingqing could hardly even stand up by herself.
“This child! Why did you drink so much?!”
Lu Lixing steadied Ji Qingqing as she stumbled around. She let hiccup and refused to admit that she was drunk, “I didn’t drink a lot!”
Lu Lixing said in a low voice, “Qingqing had drunk a lot, so I will send her back.”
Yu Yang couldn’t stand staying here any longer, so he followed suit and bid his farewell, “Auntie, I have so matters that still need to be attended to, so I’ll be leaving too. Thank you for your hospitality today.”
The expression on Mother Ji’s face changed and she enthusiastically replied, “Okay. Call in advance when you co next ti.”
How could Yu Yang dare to co again? Even so, he said politely, “Okay.”

The door to the elevator opened and Lu Lixing helped Ji Qingqing out of the elevator. Their car was waiting for them outside. Lu Lixing helped her get in the car.
The full effects of the alcohol finally hit her. Her body started becoming unbearably hot, so she took off her coat.
But it was not enough, she still felt very uncomfortable.
Lu Lixing grabbed her two hands, preventing her from continuing to undress.
Ji Qingqing was not feeling well. The rim of her eyes was red as she stared at him with her large doe-like eyes.
She blinked at him again and again.
Her long thick eyelashes were like tiny fans as she blinked.
His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down as he stared back at her drunk appearance.
Lu Lixing’s heart suddenly felt a little itchy and unbearable as he watched her blink her eyes at him.
Ji Qingqing suddenly smiled as their eyes t. She reached out her hand and wrapped them around his neck, then she suddenly pulled him towards her. Lu Lixing was caught off guard by her sudden action as their bodies snuggled intimately against one another.
The two people were extrely close, so close that Lu Lixing could see the tiny peach fuzz on Ji Qingqing’s face.
“You’re drunk. Let’s go ho.”
