I woke up in the morning next to Yoru after I spent a long part of the night making the enchanted lamps for the people in the nomad camp.

When I gave it to them, they thanked again with tears in their eyes, as Osvif told that they had lost a baby to the cold weather not long ago.

We had breakfast with them, and after saying that we were going west, they offered to guide us there. Still, we had to decline, as we would be flying, so we didn’t truly need them to move their settlent for us.

"If you need anything, feel free to use that delivery tablet to send a ssage," I told Osvif.

After saying our farewells, our group took flight, and we kept making our way to the west side of the glacial zone.

It only took us a few hours to reach the gap between the west and the east area, where the bridge was supposed to be. Either way, we flew over the gap with ease and managed to safely land on the other side to rest and eat.

It was ti to change our trajectory to the south, where Black Ice Pinaccle was visible in the distance. Strangely, I could feel so sort of energy coming from that direction, but it wasn’t demonic energy.

"Do you guys feel that?" I asked my group.

However, neither the warriors nor Gina could feel anything, but Vespera and Yoru did.

My companions didn’t reply to . Instead, they kept staring at the mountain with a serious gaze.

"Umm, guys?" I said as I approached them.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, I found myself in an empty white space with both of my companions.

The atmosphere felt familiar, as it was the sa feeling I got whenever one of my god siblings talked to .

"Asys?" I muttered with confusion, thinking that it was the god of magic who brought us there.

"No..." Vespera answered as she kept staring to the side.

When I looked up, I saw the figure of a large, beastkin man with long orange hair and golden eyes, producing a blinding hue of light that showcased his godhood.

"Garon..." I muttered.

My two companions kneeled as a sign of respect while the tall god approached the three of us.

"My brother’s companions, stand up..." he politely said.

The tone of his voice contrasted with his feral looks, which I thought was a bit funny.

"It’s nice to see you," the god continued, glancing at .

"You as well..." I replied, getting a bit nervous.

It was the first ti that and Garon had spoken face to face, and honestly, he looked the most threatening of all the gods, at least when it ca to appearance.

"You felt that, didn’t you?" Garon asked, referring to the strange energy coming from Black Ice Pinnacle.

I nodded, acknowledging the feeling, and he said that it was the aura of a dragon protecting his egg.

"The Lava Dragon is suffering, and I’m afraid it could bring the destruction of the north if he keeps this up..." the god continued.

From what he told us, Baelzor tried controlling the Lava Dragon to take the egg for himself, but his magic wasn’t powerful enough to brainwash the Legendary Beast.

As a thod of protection, the Lava Dragon cooped himself up in Black Ice Pinaccle, where he had been releasing a threatening aura to scare off any potential demons that were sent by Baelzor.

However, it was that sa energy that was slowly destroying the northern continent.

Garon seed apprehensive about it as he understood why the dragon would go to such asures.

It wasn’t just Baelzor who was trying to ss with the Legendary Beast. Drakzen had also attempted to attack him a few different tis in the past, so the Lava Dragon had to go into full protection mode for his egg.

"I understand. You want to help the dragon. Wouldn’t taking care of Baelzor help, though?" I asked, still thinking that it wasn’t necessary for to see the Legendary Beast, who was clearly agitated.

"Ichiro, if you know what’s coming, then you know that you are going to need more allies..." Garon said.

The god of beasts was adamant in convincing to visit the Lava Dragon, and knowing that none of the gods had failed before, I didn’t see a reason to decline.

Garon wanted to secure the Legendary Beast’s help in case the future war actually happened, but more than that, he said that the dragon knew more about the devil’s plans.

"Alright. I can see this is important..." I muttered.

Usually, whenever I spoke with one of my god siblings, they just "suggested" stuff for to do, but they never asked for a favor directly.

"We’ll do it... But if it gets too dangerous, I’m getting my companions out of there," I said to Garon.

The god was understanding of my concerns and even said that he would interject in the visit if he thought it was necessary.

Gods were very limited in the things they could do when it ca to influencing people in the world, but Garon was the god of beasts who handpicked every single Legendary Beast, so if anyone could help with the dragon, it was him.

After he was done asking for his favor, he glanced at my companions and smiled, comnting on how happy he was to see them grow.

Vespera blushed a little while Yoru wagged his tail happily from side to side after the god praised them, and right after he gave his farewells, the empty white space around us returned to normal.

Nonetheless, we weren’t standing in the sa spot where we left. Instead, I was getting carried on Bjorn’s back in the middle of a snowstorm. Gina was carrying Vespera, and Magnus had Yoru with him.

"Ichiro, are you awake?" he asked as I moved my arms.

"What the-?" I tried to mutter with confusion.

"The three of you fell unconscious right when the snowstorm caught up with us!" Bjorn replied, speaking loudly since the icy winds were quite noisy.

’I guess Garon called us a pretty unfortunate mont...’ I thought as I got off Bjorn’s back.

My two companions awakened at the sa ti as , and before we kept walking south in the middle of the storm, we resud our high-speed flying toward Black Ice Pinnacle.
