After we made our entrance to the main hall and walked down the stairs, people from different parts of the world started to approach us with greetings.
I thought that they were all trying to speak to lina, but so of them seed genuinely interested in after the rumors of my students dominating in the World Tournant got around.
At one point, however, the nobles that gathered around dispersed when a few guests loudly stated they wanted to talk with .
Upon hearing the woman’s voice, I turned around and saw Empress Lysandra and her sister, who had an aura that scared everyone around them.
Walking along with them, the sultan of Aridonia, Harun, was smiling and waving at .
And if it wasn’t enough to have two royal families looking for , King Dente and Queen Garra from Kalusia were also present and walking in my direction.
During our conversation, I could hear people whispering to each other about how they had never seen soone get the attention of every monarch on the continent.
’Well, when they put it like that, it does sound quite impressive...’ I thought.
Seeing that all the royal families from the continent were gathered in the sa place, I took the opportunity to tell them about the magic quartz I had created, which could easily teleport people between continents.
The reason why I told them was because I wanted each nation to have its own magic quartz that could teleport them to any other country in the world.
It wasn’t sothing that anyone could use, but I believed that it would greatly improve the relations of countries around the entire world.
The main problem was that we would need Kyotora’s cooperation, which wasn’t sothing we should have expected, considering I still didn’t trust the king.
Nonetheless, I wanted them to be aware of its existence as I was determined to get the crystals done. Even if Kyotora didn’t want to cooperate, then I would just find the quartz so other way.
Later, during the ceremony, the ti for lina’s first dance arrived as the musicians played a delightful, slow tune.
I gently extended my arm, letting the princess pose her soft hand on top of mine, and guided her to the dance floor.
Luckily, I was sowhat decent at dancing since my wife forced to go to a few dancing lessons with her before we got married in our past life.
lina, however, was the absolute star of the dance. Her dress and hair flowed with every movent and spin, leaving everyone in awe.
She was graceful and elegant, and the fact that every single eye in the party was fixed on us was a testant to her beauty.
After the first dance was over, she shared one with her dad and one with her brother, as it was the tradition of the Sephyr Kingdom.
Funnily enough, I danced with the queen after, which made the guests at the party whisper to each other, saying that if the queen had asked to dance, it was because she had accepted as her daughter’s partner.
As the party continued, the guests kept dancing all night long while eating and drinking.
At so point, I noticed that lina was starting to feel uncomfortable with her heels, so I asked her to co with and went to one of the gardens neighboring the party hall.
There, we sat down on a bench in front of a fountain, and I kneeled before her as I gently took off her shoes.
lina blushed at first, wondering out loud what I was going to do.
"Your feet hurt, right? You’ve never liked wearing high heels..." I said carefreely.
"Hmmm, have I ever worn high heels with you?" she asked, looking confused.
Then, it dawned on . This was the first ti in our new lives that I saw lina wearing high heels.
In our past lives, she hated them, so my brain was just saying whatever ca to it first.
"Uhh, I was just guessing, you know?" I replied awkwardly as I retrieved a healing potion from my void pocket.
Not wanting to drench her feet with the substance, I applied a few drops to the blisters on her ankles and sared it gently with my finger.
Once it was fully healed up, I put her shoes back on and saved the rest of the potion inside my void pocket.
At the sa ti, I used a bit of sleight-of-hand to pull out the box with the ring without her noticing.
lina was still flustered by how I had treated her blisters, and as I sat down beside her on the bench, I placed my hand with the box next to hers.
Snapping out of her awkwardness, the princess looked down at the box and gave a slight smile that was incredibly beautiful to .
"Another music box!?" she enthusiastically asked.
I chuckled. "Not exactly..." I replied, opening the box in front of her and showcasing the ring that Dhorc made for us—an adamantite ring covered in a thin layer of gold and three yellow diamonds set on top of it.
"l, I would like to spend the rest of my life with you..." I said, locking my eyes with hers.
"Will you marry ?" ’Again...’
The question hung in the air for a few seconds as lina kept staring at with a soft gaze and blushing cheeks.
With teary eyes, she softly held my face with both her hands, and I felt a warm energy coursing through my body.
Her eyes and smile shined beautifully under the moonlight in the garden, and as she kept on holding my cheeks, she spoke up.
"Yes, Ichi. I would love to spend the rest of our lives together..." she said, giving a peck on the lips.
At that mont, I noticed how everything had gone almost exactly like in our past lives.
I didn’t realize it when I was saying it, but the words that ca out when I proposed were the sa ones I said back then.
To top it all off, her answer was also the sa, making blink a few tis to adjust my sight as her appearance briefly looked like her past self.
