Luca was also part of that class and approached with curiosity, so I told them that I had a deal with the headmaster that I would teach for one year in exchange for letting lina skip the last few months of the previous one.

"Are you staying at the professors’ tower?"

"Vespera is tending to her webs, but she will probably co here soon. Yoru is right here..." I said, pointing at my shadow where Yoru peeked his head to greet lina.
"And you are only teaching for a year?"
"Yep."
"But... why?"
I sighed and explained to lina that it wasn’t a bad deal, considering I would be able to hang out with her and leave the academy at the sa ti she graduated.
The princess blushed and clenched her dress, turning her sight away from mine for a second.
"So, you took the deal for ?" she asked, almost whispering her words.
"I... yes. I wanted to see you, and this is a good way to do so." I replied with confidence.

After we left the classroom, I went to lina’s room to hang out and greeted her two roommates, who were also done with their lessons for the day.
Minutes later, Keiko, the blue-haired student from my class, walked in and looked a bit surprised when she saw .
"Ah, Keiko! Let introduce you to Ichiro... He is, umm... my boyfriend..." lina said, blushing and looking to the side.
’Her boyfriend? Does she see like that?’ I wondered with a slight smile on my face.
We had kissed a few tis already, so it wasn’t farfetched to say that we were in a relationship. Still, I wasn’t expecting her to say it in front of her friends so carefreely.
Don’t get wrong. I loved the fact that she said that, but that didn’t take the surprise away from her words.
I confird that I was her boyfriend but asked everyone in the room not to make a big deal out of it.
It’s not like I wasn’t allowed to date lina, but if rumors were to spread that a student was dating a professor, then it could potentially beco a problem.
Obviously, the people who knew us wouldn’t think it was strange, but soone outside of the academy would undoubtedly do.
After I hung out with the princesses in their dorm, I went back to my room and sent a ssage to the people of the Dawn’s Defenders, who I had left at the Droman Empire, to make so preparations.
I wanted to send a group to the northern continent and another one to the Guanghua Kingdom.

Reinar and Jeniffer had been researching the herbs from the Illusive Forest ever since we returned to Sephyr. I would have helped them, but I also didn’t want to overwork myself.
Besides, those two enjoyed working on that sort of stuff, so it’s not like I was taking advantage of them.
Their reply said they had been making good progress and were expecting to get results in one week, which made kind of excited to see what kind of new potion they would co up with.

Classes in the academy had a weekly schedule, aning that every day of the week, I would have a different group of students.
Usually, professors only taught either the freshn or senior students. However, I was tasked with giving lessons to both groups, so I was a bit busier than other teachers.
Nevertheless, I understood why the headmaster wanted to teach the first-year students, too, as having a more solid base for magic would make their senior sester much simpler.
There was a third year that wasn’t mandatory for students to take for graduation, but the people who were the most passionate about magic would take those courses.
I was also tasked with giving those people a few lessons, although those took place during the weekends, and the students, who were between 18 and 19 years old, were more mature and calm when listening to my lectures.
A few days later, I was hanging out at the professor’s lounge and noticed that everyone had changed their attitude towards .

’What the hell is happening...?’ I thought, trying to stay calm as the other teachers sward with random questions.
