Chapter 906: Mo Xuan Is Dead

Though losing his arm was excruciating, Mo Xuan gritted his teeth and refused to let out a single cry. His resilience surprised even Gu Lan.

But Gu Lan had no intention of dragging this out any longer. A bloody glow flickered across the Hongng Sword, and this strike would ensure Mo Xuan’s demise.

“Slash!”

With one swift stroke, a deep sword mark appeared across Mo Xuan’s throat. Blood gushed forth as his body crumpled lifelessly to the ground.

Gu Lan swept his gaze across the surroundings, withdrawing his aura entirely in that mont. Now that the Wizard Clan’s strongest had been slaughtered, there was no need for further conflict.

However, just as Gu Lan turned away, a crimson light suddenly descended from the sky. A terrifying wave of blood energy erupted in all directions, forcing Gu Lan back by a hundred steps.

Steadying himself, he looked ahead—only to find that all the Wizard Clan corpses had vanished without a trace. He could no longer sense any lingering power, which puzzled him greatly.

“Could there be another hidden powerhouse?” he muttered, his eyes locking onto the heavens above.

If such a force existed, he should have sensed it earlier. Yet, when he had fought, there had been no sign of any concealed presence.

Gu Lan did not dwell on the thought for too long. Descending from the void, he landed in front of An Ying.

His expression remained unreadable as he cast a brief glance at An Ying before asking in a calm tone, “Do you have any idea where that energy just ca from?”

Hearing the question, An Ying furrowed his brows and shook his head solemnly. “That aura… I have never encountered it before.”

Despite being the Lord of the Wizard Clan, An Ying had no knowledge of such power.

Gu Lan narrowed his eyes. So, things aren’t as simple as they seem.

Seeing Gu Lan’s contemplative expression, An Ying hesitated, unsure of what to say.

“We leave now,” Gu Lan stated, turning to depart.

An Ying took one last look around before vanishing from the battlefield.

Only after their departure did the hidden Lava Clan powerhouses dare to reveal themselves.

They had been lurking in the shadows all along, not daring to make a single move. But what truly shocked them was the sheer terror of Gu Lan’s strength.

More than that, it was his ruthless thods that left them shaken—so much so that even their Lava Clan wouldn’t dare to act so brazenly.

“We must leave imdiately! If he notices us, none of us will get out alive!”

Even though they had not directly faced Gu Lan’s wrath, the killing intent he radiated had been overwhelming. Without hesitation, they fled at breakneck speed, leaving no trace of their presence behind.

Inside the Wizard Clan’s Grand Hall

A dimly lit, oppressive atmosphere filled the grand hall of the Wizard Clan, where Mo Xuan and the fallen Dao Venerables’ corpses lay in eerie silence.

At that mont, Mo Tian strode into the hall.

The sight of the lifeless bodies made his entire fra tremble, and a surge of bloodlust instantly surged in his eyes.

“AAAHHH!”

With an earth-shaking roar, Mo Tian’s fury echoed across the heavens. A terrifying wave of blood energy erupted from his body, engulfing the surrounding space.

As he stood seething with rage, a shadowy figure suddenly appeared before him—a Blood Phantom, its form shrouded in dense, ominous energy.

“Does your anger change anything now?”

A chilling voice rang out, sending a shiver through Mo Tian. His murderous aura wavered as he snapped to attention.

“Wizard God!” he imdiately bowed in respect.

The Blood Phantom’s eerie presence was unmistakable.

“They may be dead, but I have a way to bring them back,” the Wizard God declared.

“Truly?!”

Mo Tian’s eyes lit up with excitent, an eager glimr of hope flashing across his face.

Just as he was about to speak further, the Wizard God raised a hand in dismissal.

“Stand aside.”

A single command was enough—Mo Tian dared not disobey. Bowing respectfully, he quickly withdrew.

The Wizard God turned his attention to the corpses before him, eventually fixing his gaze upon Mo Xuan’s lifeless form.

“Such intense resentnt… Very well, I shall grant you your wish,” he murmured with an enigmatic smile.

Extending a hand, he sent a surge of crimson light into Mo Xuan’s corpse.

Under his terrifying power, the wounds on Mo Xuan’s body slowly began to nd.

Monts passed, and a faint trace of life stirred within Mo Xuan.

A few heartbeats later, the Wizard God withdrew his power.

As he watched, Mo Xuan’s eyelids fluttered—then, slowly, his eyes opened.

Confusion flickered across Mo Xuan’s face, but before he could comprehend his surroundings, the Wizard God stepped forward.

“I have given you life anew. From this day forth, you belong to .”

The words sent a violent tremor through Mo Xuan’s body.

In the next instant, his once-dazed eyes flashed with a sinister red glow.

Mo Xuan turned to face him—and imdiately fell to one knee.

“Yes, my lord.”

“I want you to go back… and push him to his very limit.”

As the Wizard God spoke, he gathered another wave of blood energy in his palm.

As the ominous power seeped into Mo Xuan, his aura underwent a fundantal transformation.

However, this battle was not to take place imdiately.

Mo Xuan had grown stronger, but even now, he was still no match for Gu Lan.

After a mont of contemplation, the Wizard God turned his gaze toward the fallen Dao Venerables.

They, too, had perished—but in life, they had been formidable warriors.

Taking a deliberate step forward, the Wizard God unleashed a suffocating wave of blood energy, which surged outward and engulfed the corpses.

At the Great Realm Palace

In the Great Realm Palace, Gu Lan sat with his eyes closed in silent ditation.

Around him, Gu Simu, Zhongren, and the others stood quietly within the grand hall. None dared to utter a word, let alone disturb him.

The previous battle had shaken the heavens, and though they did not know exactly what had transpired, Gu Lan’s grave expression made it clear—sothing was amiss.

Rushing to speak now would only bring trouble.

No one knew how much ti had passed before Gu Lan finally opened his eyes.

The mont he did, the gathered warriors straightened, awaiting his words.

With a deep, unreadable look, Gu Lan finally spoke.

“Greater troubles are coming. You all—”

He paused, montarily unsure of what to say next.

He had initially intended to send them away.

But if they left, he would be left without capable subordinates.

Yet, the approaching storm was unpredictable—even he had no certainty about the outco.

Keeping them here might an sending them to their deaths.

A shadow crossed Gu Lan’s face, his gaze turning cold and sharp.

After a mont of contemplation, he made his decision.

“You must leave this place.”

The words had barely left his lips before Gu Simu was the first to object.

“I will not leave!”

Seeing him take a stand, Ding True Man, Zhongren, and the others imdiately followed suit.

“We will stay and fight with our Lord!”

One by one, they fell to their knees in firm resolve.

Even An Ying and the rest followed their lead.

Gu Lan let out a sigh, choosing not to argue further.

Instead, his gaze fell upon Xue Lengyan, the master of the Blood Clan.

“Blood Clan Master, if you leave now, you may yet survive.”

Unlike the others, the Blood Clan had always been re allies. If Xue Lengyan chose to leave, Gu Lan would hold nothing against him.

The logic was sound.

Yet, in response, Xue Lengyan rely offered him a bitter smile.
